Terms and Conditions
Organiser:
Committee on Home-School Co-operation (CHSC)
Objectives:
With mutual care, love, and close communication among schools, parents and students, together with the spirit of home-school co-operation, parents and schools can co-operate to nurture their children in positive ways, so as to reinforce home-school communication and parent-child relationship. Children will then be able to grow up in a healthy and joyful environment with concerted effort by schools and parents.
Eligibility:
Parents of students who currently study in local primary schools (P.4 - P.6) and secondary schools are welcome to participate in the competition with their children. Each participant group should submit one entry only.
Submission of Entries:
The entry form and 4-panel comic frame can be downloaded from the website of the CHSC (www.chsc.hk). Participants have to submit their entries together with the completed entry forms to the Secretariat of the CHSC at Room W215, 2/F., West Block, EDB Kowloon Tong Education Services Centre, 19 Suffolk Road, Kowloon Tong, Kowloon by post (Please indicate "Home-School United in Love and Care, Students' Growth with Joy to Spare" 4-Panel Comic Drawing Competition on the envelope cover).

Entry Requirements:
The entry form and 4-panel comic frame can be downloaded from the CHSC website (www.chsc.hk). Participants can choose to fill in their products with colour or not. The types of colour to be used are not limited. However, the addition of other materials (e.g. stickers, golden powder, sparkling powder, wrinkled paper) to the pictures is not allowed. Chinese or English text is acceptable.

Assessment Criteria:
The assessment criteria for the panel of adjudicators include: relevance to the theme, creativity, techniques of design, ideas, etc.
Awards:
Certificates and book coupons will be awarded to the Champion, 1st Runner-up, 2nd Runner-up and 10 Merit Prizes of each category, while certificates will also be awarded to the 10 Good Performance Prizes of each category.
Announcement of Results:
List of winners will be announced by late June 2023 via the CHSC website (www.chsc.hk). Individual winners will be notified through their schools.
Rules and Regulations:
- Each participant should submit one entry only.
- Entries found to have infringed other people's copyrights, be they commercial or non-commercial, will be disqualified. The Organiser will not be held responsible for any infringement of copyrights committed by the participants.
- Participants must ensure their entries contain no pornography, violence, objectionable, or commercial and religious propaganda elements. They should also ensure that the entries do not lead to defamation, indecency, offence, racial misunderstanding or discrimination.
- All entries cannot display any names and school names involved. Signature, border and watermark in the form of text, symbols or pictures which contain personal information are prohibited in the entries.
- The Organiser own the copyrights of all entries and will have the right to edit and use all entries for publicity, exhibition or publication purposes. Prior notice or payment to participants for the copyright is not required.
- Upon receipt of entries, the Organiser will not issue acknowledgement for individual participants. All submitted entries are not to be returned.
- Entries not complying with the competition rules and regulations will be disqualified.
- Resolution of the panel of adjudicators will be final. Participants should raise no objection.
- Participants agree to provide personal data and authorise the Organiser to release such data for promotional purpose. All collected data will be destroyed if they are no longer required after the competition.
- The Organiser reserves the final right to interpret and amend the terms and conditions of the competition.
- Participants must have full understanding of the regulations of this competition. Submission of entries by participants implies that they have agreed to abide by and accept all the terms and conditions involved.
