Mode of teaching at different levels
P.3 - P.6 pupils are divided into different classes based on their learning ability. Small classes for teaching Chinese language, English language and Mathematics are arranged in order to cater for learner diversity. Different teaching strategies, like interactive games and collaborative writing, will be used to teach different levels. Students will also have chance to use iPad to learn.

Diversified Assessment for Learning : Both informal and formal learning assessments will be arranged in class, such as class observation from teachers, self-assessment, peer evaluation, ongoing formative assessment, end-of-term examination, group projects, individual assignments, etc. There are also oral assessments for Chinese language, English language and Putonghua.

Students participate in the "Joyful Fruit Day" activity.

Learning and Teaching Plan
Learning & Teaching Strategies : Double lessons will be arranged for all core subjects. Different learning activities will be arranged during the lessons. Students are also encouraged to join different extra curricular activities and social services in order to enrich their learning experience.
Development of Key Tasks : 1. To develop a habit of reading independently through reading scheme. Students are required to read during the morning reading section. They are also taught to use different reading strategies to read during lessons.
2. Computer classes will be scheduled for all P.1-P.6 students. Each student will have their own intranet account and students are encouraged to learn on the e-learning platform and make use of the online learning materials for self-learning.
3. For the subjects Chinese and General studies, students are required to do projects with their peers or individually.
4. To foster right values of students through growing class, week assembly and school-based counseling.
Development of Generic Skills : In order to cultivate student's generic skills, a wide range of activities will be arranged, for example, Putonghua Day, English Camp, school-based learning activities, group projects, etc.
In order to cultivate their communication skill and collaborative skills at school, students are also encouraged to participate in group activities in class. Moreover, they are also encouraged to develop their IT skills by making use of the online resources on Net.
Promotion of Positive Values and Attitudes : As "To teach is to touch lives forever", Promoting Positive Values and Attitudes is our school's mission and for all time practice. Other than launching dual class teacher system to take comprehensive care of students, to nurture them to the fullest, we continuously develop a list of programmes and events to enrich students' learning experience in values education. 1. Through class events and personal growth lessons, students are embedded with vigorous positive values and attitudes towards life. They also learn to know about themselves and establish positive self esteem. 2. We proclaim the message of moral and life education by arranging theatres and course of lectures in both morning and weekly assemblies. 3. We also motivate students to engage in charity events. By taking care of others,they actually practise and experience positive values and attitudes in real life situation.
Student Support
Whole School Approach to Catering for Learner Diversity : In order to cater for students' learning diversity, different learning groups, for example, Cambridge courses, Olympus Math class, remedial classes, will be arranged. Students can choose the one which fits them best.
Whole School Approach to Integrated Education : Our school will be arranged pupils with weak academic performance to participate in after-school tutoring groups or group lessons. We will also participate in "Community-based Project" and "School-based After-School Learning and Support Programmes" to provide students with less wealthy families with more support and opportunities. In speech therapy, our school cooperates with speech therapy organizations every year. Professional speech therapists will provide assessment, treatment, and counseling services for students who are suspected to have speech problems.
Education Support for Non-Chinese Speaking(NCS) Students : Our school provides additional support for NCS students to facilitate their learning of Chinese: E.g. After-school support.

Home-school Co-operation and School Ethos
Home-School Co-operation : Parent-teacher meeting will be arranged every month at school. Different activities like interest groups, book fair, picnic will be arranged for parents and students. Scholarship will also be provided to those students with good academic and arts achievements.
School Ethos : Various activities will be arranged to cultivate a caring learning environment at school, for example, teachers will prepare birthday gift for their students, which also help increase student's sense of belonging. All students will also have a chance to get promoted in their uniform teams. They are also encouraged to learn how to serve the other people. We also invite our students' parents to become our parent helpers at school in order to let them develop a sense of belonging to the school. We also provide induction Programme for P.1 students so that they can adapt to the new school life more easily.
Future Development
School Development Plan : 1. In order to enhance students' language ability, for P.3 - P.6 students, all Chinese language lessons will be conducted in Putonghua.
2. We always provide students room to learn and improve by encouraging them to achieve a better academic and art performance.
