Seminar on “Life Planning Education–Profession in the Risk Management Sector”

Seminar on “Life Planning Education–Profession in the Risk Management Sector”

Aims:

The activity aims to help teachers and parents better understand the bright prospects and great diversity of positions of risk management-related professions, as well as provide more information related to further studies and career planning to students.

Risk management as a profession is presently rising in popularity. Among the reasons are its wide scope from insurance associated with large-scale energy and property infrastructure projects and vehicle, vessel and liability insurance, to various risks faced by individuals in their daily lives including life, illness and vehicle insurance. An effective risk management function is crucial for maintaining sustainable social and economic growth. Thus, we see bright prospects with abundant opportunities in risk management as a profession, and its great diversity of areas also creates immense job opportunities.

The seminar will introduce the diversity of positions and the promising promotion prospects in the middle level and back end of the risk management industry. Young people from a variety of disciplines and background with different capabilities are encouraged to enter the industry to realise their potential strengths.
