The Committee on Home-School Co-operation (hereafter“CHSC”), Ocean Park Hong Kong and the Department of Social Work and Social Administration of the University of Hong Kong join hands again this school year to organise the“Care For You”Award Scheme to give commendations to students who always show care for classmates and/or actively assist the school in establishing a caring school culture.

This scheme aims to encourage students to show care for classmates through different means in their school life and establish an emotional support network among peers, so that classmates would feel being understood and cared, and enjoy happy school life together.

Since the launch of the“Care For You”Award Scheme in late March this year,  310 schools have participated in the scheme and around 6,000 students have received awards. Each student awardee would receive a Commendation Certificate and 2 general admission tickets from Ocean Park Hong Kong to enjoy the fun and educational in-park activities with their friends and families. Moreover, the 10“Campus Caring Ambassadors”selected by the adjudication panel of this scheme would each be additionally awarded 2 gift vouchers of“Get Closer to The Animals” from Ocean Park Hong Kong.

The Certificate Award Ceremony of the Scheme was held in Ocean Park on 5 July 2018.  Mr. Henry Tong Sau-chai, Chairman of CHSC, Mr. Matthias Li, Chief Executive of Ocean Park Hong Kong and Professor Paul Yip Siu-fai, Department of Social Work and Social Administration of the University of Hong Kong were the officiating guests of the ceremony.
