Secondary One Admission : Our school will accept discretionary places. Our school will participate in the Secondary School Places Allocation System through central allocation stage (Applicable for admission to S.1 in September 2021 ).Conduct: 30%; Internal examination result: 30%; Interview: 20%; ECA participation rate: 20%
Orientation Activities and Healthy Life : New F.1 students are required to attend the free new F.1 summer bridging program. The program include Chinese, English, Mathematics tutorial classes, and other extra-curricular activities, including game stalls, visiting museum and city tour. Special classes are tailored for Newly Arrived Children. In late August, a parents' night will also be held.
Students have to join the fitness scheme. F.1 - F.3 students are required to have lunch at school.

(1)School's Major Concerns : To enhance learning and teaching effectiveness;

(2) School Management Organisation: : The school administration include: Curriculum Development, Learning and Teaching, Discipline, Guidance, Moral and Civil Education, Career and Life Planning, Extra-curriculum Activities, Religion Activities and IT Departments.
(3) Incorporated Management Committee / School Management Committee / Management Committee: : The Salvation Army is the sponsoring body of the school. The Incorporated Management Committee pays great concerns on school's affairs and promotes the school's development according to her mission.
(4) School Green Policy: : The Green Society organized different activities emphasizing on promoting the importance of environmental conservation.
Learning and Teaching Plan
(1) Whole-school Language Policy: : The school has implemented using Chinese as the medium of instruction since 1998, emphasizing both English and Chinese, which also increases the interest and motivation of students' learning. Students' results have improved significantly. For English lessons, small-class teaching is implemented. School policies align with education policies in order to strengthen effective education.
(2) Learning and Teaching Strategies: : Clear education goals on the personal growth of the 5 basic virtues by means of a balanced curriculum which built on students' ability and interest. Programs like Learning Circles etc. have achieved expected outcome.
(3) School-based Curriculum: : 1. Electives: 2X. There are 11 electives. Students are encouraged to study the Applied Learning courses.
2. Curriculum highlights: There are collaborative lesson planning in various subjects. Teachers designed various school based curriculum for students. There is special caring group to cater for learners' diversity.
There is Applied Learning courses for senior class students.
(4) Development of the Four Key Tasks: : Morning reading scheme, extensive reading scheme and subject based reading projects. IT facilities installed in all classrooms, teachers IT competency have met the requirement. Project learning takes place in various subjects, e.g. Liberal Studies, Chinese, English, Travel and Tourism etc. Moral education activities are organized during school hours and extra-curricular activities.
(5) Life Planning Education: : Students have to understand their attitude, strength and weakness. There are vocational internship for senior students. There is vocational English course to cater different students' need.
Student Support
(1) Whole School Approach to Catering for Learner Diversity: : There is tailored curriculum to cater for learners' diversity. There is independent education planning for students. There are different learning and emotional training.
(2) Whole School Approach to Integrated Education: : There is a special team to cater for learners' diversity. The members include guidance master, form masters, subject panels, educational psychiatrist. The school offer, studying skills training, emotional training, social training and vocational training. There is special arrangement for examination.
(4) Measures to provide adaptation for Learning and Assessment: : The school puts emphasis on both formative and summative assessments. Assessments are graded in junior English in order to cater for students' diversity.
Home-school Co-operation and School Ethos
(1) Home-School Co-operation: : Cooperation between parents and school: our school values home-school cooperation. Parents' Day, workshops, surveys, etc. are carried out every year to provide child-management skills to parents and to strengthen communication between home and school in order to help students' growth effectively. The PTA has organized several activities for families. It also publishes newsletter and participates in district activities. The PTA also representatives in the IMC to help with the promotion of school matters.
(2) School Ethos: : The school values discipline. The principle of managing before educating is firmly established. The school rules are strict, yet the school spirit simple. Students should look presentable and behave with discipline. Counseling teachers, the school chaplain and school social workers also offer support for individuals and small groups. Preventive workshops and counseling sessions are also organized. In addition, lunch activities, orientation camps are also organized by the pastoral-care department in order to strengthen students' sense of belonging. Each department works with team spirit and collaboration which offer huge support for students at different growing stages.
