Secondary One Admission : Our school will accept discretionary places. Our school will participate in the Secondary School Places Allocation System through central allocation stage (Applicable for admission to S.1 in September 2021 ).Rank order 40%, Academic result and Interview Performance 30%, Conduct 20%, Extra-curricular Activities 10%.
Orientation Activities and Healthy Life : 1. 3 weeks Summer Bridging Program parents seminars and parent- children school trip for S.1 students from mid-July to mid August. It helps build good home-school relationships and student's growth
2. All S.1 students have to participate in the career planning and I.T. workshops in order to prepare for the new school life.
3. S.1 Bridging Program Ceremony is held and it helps explore students' potentials.
4. Parents can participate in the Summer Bridging program to learn more about our school.

School Management
(1)School's Major Concerns : 1. To further promote elearning and consolidate students’ capacity to become self-directed learners.
2. To promote STEM Plus education for cultivating students’ problem solving and creative thinking skills.
3. To help students achieve their goals and develop a caring school culture.
(2) School Management Organisation : 1. An effective School Management Model. School Principal and core administrators work closely with the five departments (Quality Assurance, Academic Development, Student Development, School Development and Information Technology and Innovation). It forms a team of learner-centered teachers.
2. Teachers' representatives participate in weekly School Management Meetings to ensure teachers’ views are expressed and heard. It enables the policies to be carried out in a fair and open fashion.
3. The Mentorship Program provides help & support for the less experienced teachers.
(3) Incorporated Management Committee / School Management Committee / Management Committee : On 1/6/2010 The Incorporated Management Committee was established to provide quality education under the school motto "All Are Educable".
(4) School Green Policy : 1. The "T8" florescent lights in the classrooms have been replaced with the "T5" tubes. The switch can save energy and protect our students' eyes.
2. To install the heat shield coating on the roof in order to reduce the classroom's temperature.
3. Sensor type water taps have been installed in our toilets.
4. Roof garden is built to reduce the temperature of the hall.
Learning and Teaching Plan
(1) Whole-school Language Policy : 1. Putonghua is the medium of instruction for Chinese Language in some junior form classes.
2. NET has interactive and intensive, integrated English program for elite students and organizes English fun activities.
3. Some subjects have extended learning activities in English.
(2) Learning and Teaching Strategies : (A) Language Learning and Teaching
1. To refine English curriculum and develop student's self directed learning and collaborative skills in English through e-learning & experiential learning.
2. To organise English musicals. English & Drama teachers collaborate for more innovative ideas in learning & teaching.
3. To teach and learn Chinese Language through debate in order to strengthen and develop students' speaking, multi-perspective thinking and expression skills.
4. To promote reading schemes in different subjects to create a good reading environment.

(B) Feature Education
1. To further promote e-learning and e-assessment. S1-S3 BYOD to enhance self-directed learning capacities.
2. To carry out STEM PLUS courses with the theme “iCampus”.
3. To refine “Catering for Learner Diversity” Policy with EDB school –based support services.
4. To achieve “Life Education” by arranging cross-curricula experiential learning activities.
5. To offer drama classes in Junior Forms to nurture students’ creativity and self-confidence.

(C) Gifted Education
1. To develop the potential of gifted students systematically and strategically with the 3-tier operation mode.
2. To path the road for Tertiary Education for Elite Students in Senior Forms.
3. To develop “Talent Pool” with the support of Jockey Club “Diversity at schools” project.
(3) School-based Curriculum : 1. Electives: 2X. On senior forms, there are 2 electives, school-based subject "Life Education" and Integrated Arts; In Junior forms, there are Drama classes and Life-wide learning Periods. Holistic Education Periods are for all forms on Friday.
2. Curriculum highlights: Align with two School Main Concerns, the highlights of the curriculum is to strengthen student’s Multi-perspective Thinking Skills and refine Self-directing learning.
(4) Development of the Four Key Tasks : Self-directed learning (E-learning), STEM PLUS, Gifted Education, Positive Education.
(5) Life Planning Education : To provide information for further education and career guidance, including visits to universities (both HK and Taiwan), tertiary institution, seminars...
Student Support
(1) Whole School Approach to Catering for Learner Diversity : 1. Refine and prepare learning and teaching resources in Common Lesson.
2. Set up Self-directed Makers’ Space, Dream Space, i-Pad Learning Space, support centres to cater for learning diversity.
3. Adopt Split Class, tutorial classes and small group teaching policy.
4. Carry out Elite Student program in Senior Forms.
(2) Whole School Approach to Integrated Education : The Whole-school Approach is adopted to enhance Integrated Education through Jockey Club Man Kwan EduYoung College. Students with special educational needs are fully supported by the student support team which includes vice principal, teachers and teaching assistants.
The given subsidy is sufficiently used in diverse dimensions to strive the best in supporting students in need. Teachers specialized in integrated education, well-trained counselors and teaching assistants promote comprehensive activities to inspire student's potential and improve student's social skills. Before implementing integrated education activities, the screening of students with special needs is put into the greatest concern. All F.1 students are recommended and prior to the screening. In order to master students' levels in the subjects of Chinese, English and Math, all F.1 students need to take academic tests. The educational psychologist and multiple professions cooperate intensively to assess and review the program through conference and workshops, which also include parents' participation.
(3) Education Support for Non-Chinese Speaking(NCS) Students : Our school provides additional support for NCS students to facilitate their learning of Chinese: providing after-school support programmes in learning Chinese; appointing additional teacher(s)/teaching assistant(s) to support NCS students’ learning of Chinese; developing school-based Chinese Language curriculum and/or adapting learning and teaching materials; and organising cultural integration activities.
(4) Measures to provide adaptation for Learning and Assessment : 2 exams are in junior forms and continuous assessment is included.
2 uniform tests and 2 exams are in senior forms.
Home-school Co-operation and School Ethos
(1) Home-School Co-operation : Our school actively practises the function of PTA with parents. It serves as a communication platform that allows parents of different background to share experience and work collaboratively with our school. The parents are good role models for our students as they participate in school activities enthusiastically and whole-heartedly.
(2) School Ethos : 1. Create a caring, cordial, trusting and happy learning environment;
2. Carry out the "Sun Award Scheme" to help students setting their goals;
3. Encourage students' doing social services;
4. Develop students' self-learning, leadership and self-management abilities;
5. The implementation of Healthy Campus Program, combined with academic and counselling activities, allows students to establish the concept of healthy living;
6. Implementing the "A Better Me" Program, helps students to set goals and objectives to improve themselves from their once ill-advised actions.

(1) School Development Plan : 1. Our school promotes ACTIVE Education to create an active learning space for students to enrich their learning experiences and master active knowledge. We aim to increase students’ learning effectiveness through promoting Deep Learning (6Cs).

(2) Teacher Professional Training and Development : Teacher Professional Development Group helps to organize Mentorship Training Program, Professional Development Days, training about Professional Ladder for Teachers (EDB), etc. to enhance the efficacy of learning & teaching and professional growth.
Life-wide Learning (including Five Essential Learning Experiences to be provided through Key Learning Areas, Extra-curricular Activities, Co-curricular Activities, etc.) : Multiple-intelligence ECA are available, including academic, serving, leadership, art and sports. We encourage S.1 students to join "One Student One Uniform Team". Through competing for the "EduYoung Trophy" in various academic, art and sport-related events, we hope to foster a productive, diligent and united atmosphere among classes.
