Secondary One Admission : Our school will accept discretionary places. Our school will participate in the Secondary School Places Allocation System through central allocation stage (Applicable for admission to S.1 in September 2021 ).1. Orientation Activities and Healthy Life : Our school serves students with various learning difficulties. Interviews will be offered for the applicants. The admission criteria is based on the results in primary school and the performance in the interview. Secondary One Orientation Programme and Parents' Day are held every year to facilitate better parental support on students' learning. Healthy school policy: We are committed to fostering a healthy school environment, which helps students to reach a state of physical, mental and social well-being with a focus on developing students' healthy lifestyles, positive attitudes and values, practical life skills and refusal skills to resist temptation.

(2) School Management Organisation : 1. The Principal leads the School-based Management Team to facilitate the operation of different administration groups and implement different school policies;
2. A year plan is submitted by the functional teams and subject panels with an evaluation report by the end of each school year;
3. Self-evaluation and review among various subject panels and committees are encouraged. Peer lesson observation and frequent subject meetings are arranged to enhance the effectiveness and efficacy of teaching and learning.

Learning and Teaching Plan
(1) Whole-school Language Policy : A Native English Teacher is employed and various activities are held to boost the confidence of students in speaking English, e.g. World English Fun, Speech Festival, Drama, implement web Extensive Reading Scheme and Chinese Reading Scheme.
(2) Learning and Teaching Strategies : 1. Different strategies are implemented to cater for students' learning diversity.
2. Collaborative lesson planning and peer lesson observation are conducted to enhance the effectiveness of teaching and learning. Students are motivated to express themselves by questioning and they are encouraged to participate in project learning. A wide range of activities are organised so as to further enhance students' learning motivation.
3. Groups with different abilities will be arranged and teaching materials will be set with various levels. Challenging tasks will be given to more-able students and public examinations will be arranged for students.
4. E-learning is promoted and classrooms are well-equipped.
5. To cater students' diverse learning needs, speech therapy / occupational therapy will be provided. Attention and social skills training will be offered to students.
6. In order to enhance our teaching effectiveness and refine our curriculum, we collaborate with different institutions and organizations, e.g. school based support services by EDB.
(3) School-based Curriculum : 1. Electives: 2X and 3X. Information and Communication Technology (DSE/School-based curriculum), Technology and Living, Integrated Science, Visual Arts (DSE) and Life skills
2. Curriculum highlights:
- We provide a six-year secondary education for students with diverse learning needs. Students with higher abilities will sit for HKDSE.
- Fundamental curriculum is set for junior form, apart from the school-based curriculum, career training, Qualification Framework courses, applied learning will also provided for senior form students.
- Cooperate with Hong Kong Employment Development Service in developing the life planning.
(4) Development of the Four Key Tasks : 1. Reading to Learn: Chinese Extensive Reading Scheme, Web English Reading Scheme, Parenthood Reading Scheme, Story-telling by parents, writers sharing, students sharing after reading, books exhibitions.
2. Information Technology for Interactive Learning: Multi-Media Learning Centre and three computer rooms are well-equipped(activities include 3D Printing, Robot Competition, STEM, VR Learning). Parents, students and teachers can use intranet for communications. Students are encouraged to use self-learning intranet platform.
3. Project Learning: Facilitate students' independent learning capabilities and develop their generic skills by planning activities across different subjects.
4. Moral and Civic Education:
- Developing Students' Positive values and attitudes by organising various school activities e.g. collecting old clothes for The Conservancy Association, Annual School Famine Activities and Healthy School Policy.
- In order to encourage students to know more about national identity, visits to China provinces would be arranged. A whole school approach is adopted to promote life education.
(5) Life Planning Education : The school has systematically designed a wide range of lessons and various exploration activities related to career and life planning, allowing students to gradually understand more about their career paths and consolidate their understanding towards career development during different stages. In addition, we tend to develop and broaden students’ career paths and prospects through assessment, training on interview skills, mock interviews, visits to different institutions and workplace, practicum in workplace, etc. In addition to providing individualized career planning guidance and counselling for senior form students, the school has organized and arranged several workplace internship programmes for students progressively. Meanwhile, we also provide support services for alumni and graduates.
Student Support
(1) Whole School Approach to Catering for Learner Diversity : We cater for students with learning diversity under whole-school approach.
(2) Whole School Approach to Integrated Education : Our school is committed to cultivate an inclusive school culture and caring campus to support students with special educational needs through the whole school approach. We provide diversified support services for SEN students to enhance their learning effectiveness. Members of the Student Support Team include the Special Education Needs Coordinator, three Special Education Needs Support Teachers, two School-based Speech Therapists, a Student Counselor, Teaching Assistants and Educational Psychologists. Training will be provided to teachers by the Special Educational Needs Coordinators and Educational Psychologists will provide teachers with training to support students with special educational needs. Learning Support Grants will be used to recruit additional staff, including student counselors, teaching assistants and teachers who have received special education training in supporting SEN students. Meanwhile, outsourcing professional services including social skills training groups and occupational therapy services will be provided at school. The school also provides special arrangement (including homework, test and examination) for SEN students. Our interdisciplinary team provides assessment, referral and individual education plans for students with serious educational needs. In addition, the school has been implementing the Peer Counselling program to help students adapt to new environment. Home-school cooperation has been playing a vital role in our school. SEN support teachers, class teachers and social workers have close contact and communication with parents. We always work together to support our students. Speech therapists will provide parents with professional advice to help improve students' speech problems.
(4) Measures to provide adaptation for Learning and Assessment : 1. School-based assessments and "Learning Achievement Measurement Kit" are used for mode of assessment;
2. Diversified assessments have been applied to all subjects with formative and summative assessments with reference to the stakeholders' opinion and teachers' professional knowledge;
3. Worksheets, tests and examinations are set according students' ability.
Home-school Co-operation and School Ethos
(1) Home-School Co-operation : Parents Teachers Association always works with the school in arranging and participating in school activities e.g. parenthood workshops, seminars, Sports Day, Open Day, parent volunteer and parents' sharing sessions, etc.
(2) School Ethos : 1. School ethos : full of "Love" and "Care" so as to fulfill our Christian mission, learning and sharing throughout the whole life.
2. School-based support in discipline and guidance is provided to strengthen students' confidence and self-esteem. Referral services will also be provided.
3. Career Guidance and Counselling Committee provides vocational training and work placement programme with the non-governmental organizations. In addition to providing individualized career planning guidance and counselling for senior form students, the school has organized and arranged several workplace internship programmes for students progressively.

Life-wide Learning (including Five Essential Learning Experiences to be provided through Key Learning Areas, Extra-curricular Activities, Co-curricular Activities, etc.) : We provide a variety of extra-curricular activities to develop students' cultural awareness, physical training and practical skills, e.g. Boys Brigade, Christian Fellowship, Sensory Integration Exercise Training, Chinese & English Drama, Reading for Fun, sports & Adventure Trainings, etc. Serving the Community activities will be held every year under co-curricular activities to enrich students' other learning experience.
