School Facilities: : All the rooms are equipped with air-conditioning, Wi-Fi network and projectors. Some classrooms are fitted with visualizers. There are 26 classrooms and 16 special rooms in total. The special rooms include the library (renovation and expansion of multi-purpose learning area was funded by Nan Fung Group), music room, multimedia computer room, Campus TV, STEM lab, laboratories and students' activity rooms, etc. There are also 1 fitness room, an air-conditioned 'Green Kitchen', CWK Garden and rooftop organic farm.

Secondary One Admission : Our school will accept discretionary places. Our school will participate in the Secondary School Places Allocation System through central allocation stage (Applicable for admission to S.1 in September 2022 ).Our school accepts application for discretionary places. We participate in the Secondary School Places Allocation System in the central allocation stage (applicable for admission to S.1 in September 2022). Admission criteria and weighting are as follows: 1. Academic results of Primary 5 (full year) and 6 (1st term) (30%); 2. Performance at interview (30%); 3. Conduct (15%); 4. Others such as awards and achievements attained (15%); 5. Participation and performance in extra-curricular activities and services (10%).
Orientation Activities and Healthy Life : About one-week bridging programme for Form 1 newcomers and a Parents' Day for new students' parents are held in mid-July every year. The orientation programme held at the beginning of the academic year aims to help S.1 students familiarize themselves with the school, while developing a strong sense of belonging to the learning community.
We place great emphasis on whole-person education to strive to promote students' physical, intellectual and spiritual development. With the aim of helping students develop positive values and healthy habits, we offer subjects such as Religious Education, Life Education and lessons about basic life skills. In addition, we offer a wide range of other learning opportunities such as school assemblies, extra-curricular activities, voluntary work and activities of other learning experiences to help students develop a positive attitude and strengthen their self-image, which play an important role in their whole-person development.

School Management
(1)School's Major Concerns : 1. Refining the curriculum to strengthen students' learning motivation. Optimizing teaching effectiveness to raise students' performance.
2. Cultivating students' spiritual life and embracing the positive values that awaken students' personal potential and diversified development.
(2) School Management Organisation : School-based Management (SBM) is adopted. For the school policies, in order to facilitate the collection of opinions from different areas, both bottom-up and top-down communication approaches are in use. The Management Committee will be reported by the principal and the teacher manager. The Management Committee meets regularly to come up with suggestions and guidelines for the operation of the school. The suggestions of teachers and administrative staff are delivered to the principal via the School Administration Advisory Board. After further discussion, a suitable and feasible strategy is adopted and executed collaboratively.
(3) Incorporated Management Committee / School Management Committee / Management Committee : Incorporated Management Committee was established.
(4) School Green Policy : Our school has formulated "Healthy School Policy" aiming at promoting the ideas of "health" and "environmental protection" to strive to become a green school and promote education work related to environmental protection. Our students are able to implement low carbon lifestyles through the learning of different subjects, greening activities and health-related voluntary training.
Learning and Teaching Plan
(1) Whole-school Language Policy : 1. To improve students' English proficiency and cater for their needs in learning, our school adopts various language policies such as employing an experienced Native-speaking English Teacher (NET) to conduct interactive English speaking lessons and activities, as well as streaming students into smaller groups across all levels based on their different abilities. 2. Provide extra English tutorial support for students who dropped out from their electives, enabling them to sharpen their examination skills in language subjects. 3. In addition, we developed a school-based English Learning Mobile Application, which contains English reading articles and exercises to enhance the English reading atmosphere in school. 4. From 2020/21 school year onwards, Language-Across-the-Curriculum (LAC) has been introduced in Integrated Science and Integrated Humanities in F.1 and F.2 to arouse students' interest in learning English. 5. We created "Thoughts and Debate Courses: Integrating Debate into Teaching" and "Micro Novel Creative Writing" to improve students' Chinese ability and creative thinking, to make teaching more interesting and to strengthen students' learning motivation. 6. We developed the school-based Chinese mobile application "Kung Fu" to strengthen daily Chinese training of our students. 7. Besides English morning activities during the morning assembly, Chinese and English morning reading activities are held every Tuesday to Thursday to improve students' language ability.
(2) Learning and Teaching Strategies : 1. Chinese, English and Mathematics enrichment classes such as Writing Class and Mathematics Olympiad are held in junior forms. 2. After-school tutorial classes are conducted in senior forms to help students consolidate their subject knowledge and improve their examination techniques. 3. Pre-mock Examinations and End-of-Term Mock Examinations are conducted for F.6 students to prepare them for the HKDSE. In addition, 'Elite Training' is held in F.6 to equip students with examination techniques. 4. We have a well-established online homework record system for students', parents' and teachers' reference. 5. An online question bank has been set up as a self-access resource for students. 6. Past papers of school examinations and marking schemes are uploaded to the intranet to help students prepare for examinations. 7. For students with special needs, we arrange individual or after-school counseling tutorials.

2. Curriculum highlights:
(1) School-based English Enhancement Scheme that aims to help students face the challenges from the HKDSE. A team of experienced English teachers act as mentors of the students in small groups and provide our F.5 and F.6 students with English enhancement courses.
(2) STEM education: To strengthen students' ability to integrate and apply knowledge and skills in Science, Technology and Mathematics.
(3) Language-Across-the-Curriculum has been implemented in junior forms. Some modules in Integrated Science and Integrated Humanities are instructed in English.
(4) Development of the Four Key Tasks : 1. Continuous and further improvement of the school's English curriculum through promoting the use of English in school and beyond. 2. Continuous and further development and expansion of the school's STEM curriculum. 3. The adoption of e-learning channels to boost learning effectiveness. 4. Promotion of Christian values and Life Education in school through empowering local churches in serving and nurturing our students. 5. The establishment of a positive school culture of appreciation, recognition and empowerment in which students' achievement is immediately and comprehensively recognized. 6. School's Life Education that promotes students' goal-oriented development. 7. Moral education, Civic and National Education will be promoted by a special group through assemblies, various subjects and academic weeks. 8. Morning reading activities are held during morning assemblies, partnered with the e-library and various reading award schemes to further encourage students to learn through reading. 9. The annual Project Learning Day with regular special study activities being held in each subject. 10. Starting from 20/21, the BYOD teaching policy was fully implemented. All subjects are able to use tablet computers for interactive learning.
(5) Life Planning Education : The Career Guidance Committee provides both individual and group career planning activities and counselling to the students. Moreover, we work with different professional organizations to provide students with diversified career counselling services. Our school is endeavouring to widen the study path for our Form 6 students. We collaborate with the tertiary institutes in Taiwan in order to create more opportunities for our students to receive quality tertiary education.
Student Support
(1) Whole School Approach to Catering for Learner Diversity : 1. To further foster a caring culture, two class teachers are assigned to each class to provide students with counselling and guidance. 2. Happy Classroom' provides an ensemble of activities as well as homework tutoring, being held by teachers, student counsellors and teacher assistants to cater for their learning needs. 3. 'After-school Reinforcement Course' is offered to students in Forms 2 and 3. The course targets less able students to resolve their difficulties with studies by tailoring learning materials.
(2) Whole School Approach to Integrated Education : Our school is committed to building an inclusive and caring campus. It supports students with Special Education Needs (SEN) in a “whole school approach” by providing them with appropriate and diversified support services to enhance their learning effectiveness. To promote an inclusive culture, the school regularly reviews its inclusivity policies and organizes different types of inclusivity promotion activities, implements school-based curriculum and the external purchase of professional support services to cater for the special learning needs of students. In order to enable class teachers to understand the needs of SEN students, and arrange appropriate support and counselling, the SENCO and SENSTs communicate with the class teachers about the students’ learning and other areas of development regularly. The school also distributes “SEN student support handbook” to all teachers and encourages staff to participate in the Education Bureau’s “Care for Different Learning Needs” training courses to enhance their professional knowledge and ability to support SEN students. The school attaches great importance to cooperation between home and school. The committee establishes a constant communication mechanism and organizes conferences for parents of SEN students so that they can know more about their children’s learning and support their learning and growth.
(3) Education Support for Non-Chinese Speaking(NCS) Students : Our school provides additional support for NCS students to facilitate their learning of Chinese: providing after-school support programmes in learning Chinese; appointing additional teacher(s)/teaching assistant(s) to support NCS students’ learning of Chinese; arranging intensive Chinese learning and teaching mode(s), e.g. pull-out learning if necessary, split-class/group learning, etc.; developing school-based Chinese Language curriculum and/or adapting learning and teaching materials; and organising cultural integration activities. After School programmes are provided for the non-Chinese speaking students.
(4) Measures to provide adaptation for Learning and Assessment : 1. For Forms 1-5, there are two school terms in each academic year. In each term, Formative Assessment and Examinations account for 30%-40% and
60%-70% of the subject total respectively. As for Form 6, Mock Examinations are worth 50% of the subject total, while Formative Assessment and Pre-mock Examinations contribute to 30% and 20% of the final subject marks respectively. 2. All junior form students are placed into classes based on their abilities.
3. For Chinese, English and Mathematics lessons, students are streamed into small groups based on their abilities.
Home-school Co-operation and School Ethos
(1) Home-School Co-operation : The school highly values communication with parents and caring for the growth of students together. In addition to the bi-yearly Parent Day, the school also has a breakfast meeting between parents and the Principal, so that parents have a better understanding of their children’s school life. A parent support group is available to help parents establish a good parent-child relationship with their children. The Parent-Teacher Association is also an important bridge between parents and the school. Through the Parent-Teacher Association, parents can further understand and participate in the formulation and implementation of school policies; in addition, the Parent-Teacher Association will organize seminars, group sharing and activities targeted at parents to provide them multifaceted support.
(2) School Ethos : According to the report of the External School Review (ESR) team, who visited our school in November 2017, our students are sincere and honest. In addition, they are courteous and self-disciplined. Students and teachers have a harmonious relationship and show respect for each other. Our school prefects take great pride in serving other students and our senior students show lots of care for their junior counterparts. Many of our students actively participate in voluntary services. Our school greatly encourages students to take part in both internal and external activities and competitions so as to broaden their horizons. In addition, our students have achieved outstanding performances in technology innovation and environmental education. They have received both local and international awards. Sports, arts and poem recital are also some of our students’ strengths. They have achieved solid results in those areas, receiving both group and individual awards in inter-school sports events and dancing, music and poetry competitions.
Future Development
(1) School Development Plan : 1. Chinese and English: Strengthen the language learning environment, increasing learning motivation, and enable students to diversify their learning.
2. Science and Technology Education: Introduce science and innovation courses and activities to enhance the atmosphere of scientific research and learning at school.
3. Increase the usage of multimedia teaching, making good use of e-learning facilities to increase students’ learning motivation.
4. Continue to develop teaching strategies to enhance learning assessment and set clear goals to improve learning performance.
5. Cultivation of the spiritual growth of students.
6. Strengthen support to our students and guide them to think positively.
7. Widen the range of life skills education to improve students' sense of self-esteem and self-efficacy.
8. Actively recognize student achievements to enhance their self-confidence.
9. Strengthening value education to inspire potential, and continue to promote a positive atmosphere on campus.
10. Encourage students to develop a sense of belonging to our school.
11. Strengthen Life Planning Education, develop life planning courses at all levels, and implement personal life planning guidance at various stages.
12. Optimize the planning and coordination of co-curricular and extracurricular activities to promote and ensure students have a better and more diverse learning experience.
13. Strengthening parental support, promoting parent-child relationship cultivation, embracing positive values together, in order to let children realize their potential.
(2) Teacher Professional Training and Development : Our teachers are encouraged to pursue Continuing Professional Development (CPD) to keep up to date with the knowledge and skills required for their role and responsibilities. They are required to submit an annual report of the total number of their CPD hours as well as undertake CPD activities. This year, through peer observation and collaborative teaching, we are in the process of developing learning groups among teachers who take pride and find great pleasure in sharing their expertise.
Life-wide Learning (including Five Essential Learning Experiences to be provided through Key Learning Areas, Extra-curricular Activities, Co-curricular Activities, etc.) : We aspire to encourage students to participate in different types of activities, including local field trips and foreign excursion tours and thirty student societies such as interest classes, sports teams and voluntary services organizations. Students from Forms 1 to 4 are required to take part in at least one student society or extra-curricular activity while Form 1 to 3 students are required to take part in one core students’ societies. Our school includes lesson time of Other Learning Experiences as regular lesson hours, incorporating different life and career planning workshops, Moral and Civic Education programmes, class-based activities, social services and other activities that support students’ physical and artistic development. There are also four extra-curricular activities days every year for students to pursue their interest and cultivate their potential.

The school aims to build up a culture of mutual encouragement, trust, care and support by spreading the spirit of love of Jesus Christ for humanity. By caring for, encouraging and supporting each other, every member at school can develop talents, self-respect and self-confidence.
Scholarship:
Scholarships administered by outside organizations include the Tsuen Wan Rural Committee’s Scholarship, the Applied Learning Scholarship from Law’s Charitable Foundation, and a scholarship from Project Ambition. Internal scholarships include the Self-Motivation Scholarship and the 92 Science Group Alumni Scholarship, which are sponsored by our alumni. In addition, there are various scholarships established by our education organization and a scholarship for outstanding athletes, which is awarded by school managers.
Exchange program:
The school has participated in The Sister School Scheme organized by the EDB since 2015. Through exchange and collaboration with Lingnan Memorial Secondary School in Guangzhou, we have expanded our communication network, enhanced understanding and communication, strengthened cultural interflow and achieved mutual advancement.
