School Facilities: : In order to provide students with diversified development, our school has been equipped with different recreation rooms such as Dancing Room, English Corner, Studio and Chapel. Secondary One Admission : Our school will not accept discretionary places.Offers Year-Round Admission for any pupils from all school districts. S.1 Admission Criteria & Weightings: Academic results of the last two years (20%); Conduct & Attitude of the last two years (20%); Awards, Services and Extra-curricular Achievements (20%); Interview Performance (30%)-Chinese and English Language ability (10%), All-rounded performance(Courtesy, Daily response and Self-care ability) (10%), Interaction between parents and students (10%); Religion and relations to school (10%).
Orientation Activities and Healthy Life : The school will organize a "S.1 Bridging Course" and arrange an Orientation Day for S.1 students and their parents during the summer holiday. Moreover, a number of adjustment classes and workshops such as summer English enrichment classes, experiential learning courses in various subjects, and parents’ workshops will be held to help students transition to secondary school. A parent-teacher symposium will be held in September to collect parents’ opinions and enhance communication. We will provide diversified student growth plans in each academic year and hold activities such as orientation day, courses of whole-person education, homework tutorial classes, etc. The-dual-class-teacher system ensures every student is under fully care. The school implements the "One Person, One Art or Service" program to improve students' physical and artistic qualities and spirit of service which are beneficial to the student development.

(4) School Green Policy : The school encourages our staff and students to "cherish the environment, save energy and reduce waste" so that students can understand the concept and importance of environmental conservation in their campus life. By organizing different activities such as the "Mooncake Box/Red Packet Recycling" project, the "Earth Hour" activity for one hour with lights off, "Environmental Discipline" and various lectures on environmental protection, etc., we train our students to protect the environment with the right attitude. We also encourage our students to live an environmentally-friendly life. The school also implements different environmental protection measures, such as the use of T5 lamps and environmental faucets, the establishment of waste paper, aluminum cans and plastic bottle recycling bins, and the use of air-conditioning only when the temperature is higher than 25 degrees Celsius.
Learning and Teaching Plan
(1) Whole-school Language Policy : Language subjects acted as core subjects, the school actively provides resources and supports, so that students' reading, writing, listening and speaking skills can be enhanced through daily lessons, co-curricular activities, cross-curricular activities and after-school activities.
(2) Learning and Teaching Strategies : 1. A learner-centred curriculum is designed to provide our students with more learning opportunities so as to explore their potential.
2. Our teachers are encouraged to adopt the learner-centered teaching approach so that students can master the knowledge, skills and attitude acquired more effectively.
3. To enable our students to meet the needs of the society, we provide recognized qualifications other than the HKDSE and interesting and enlightening subjects other than the core to help cultivate their many talents.
4. To enhance students' interest in reading, our school has spared no effort in promoting reading to our students.

2. Curriculum highlights: Our school is keen on offering School-Based Programmes and Courses of Convergence. Students can learn from real and challenging tasks apart from coping with the public exam. This experience ensures them an advantage to devote in professional jobs or entering associate degrees.
(4) Development of the Four Key Tasks : 1. Bridging programmes have been provided to cater for the diversities of students' learning background and abilities;
2. Through self-directed learning, students will be provided a comfortable learning pace;
3. Collaborations of cross-curricular including STEM are encouraged in order to provide practical learning experience from the integration and applications among subjects.
(5) Life Planning Education : All students participate in life and career planning. It is gradually implemented according to the abilities and needs of students at different stages, including self-knowledge and development, career exploration and career planning and management. In addition, the school attaches great importance to vocational education. Through the provision of practical learning classes and work-based learning courses, students can have an in-depth thinking about their future studies and employment, and thus achieve the results of career planning.
Student Support
(1) Whole School Approach to Catering for Learner Diversity : The school adopts Whole-School Approach to take care of the individual needs of students, continues the integrated education policy of junior secondary school, and arranges a good learning environment according to a systematic support process to allow students to integrate into campus life. The school holds a Parent-Child Orientation Day every year, inviting parents to participate in parent-child communication workshops and related lectures to help students adapt and integrate into campus life as soon as possible. The school also adopts a dual-class-teacher system to provide comprehensive care for students.
The school adopts diversified teaching techniques and auxiliary tools to design suitable teaching materials for students according to the different learning needs of students. The whole school actively promotes self-directed learning and encourages students to prepare for the lessons before class which helps reduce differences in students' learning. In the teaching environment, the school gives full play to the spirit of mutual help among peers, teaching through collaborative learning and assigning different roles according to students' abilities and talents, so that every student can participate in the class and conduct related classroom duties according to their own roles. Our mission is to construct a campus culture of friendship and care.
(2) Whole School Approach to Integrated Education : In response to the individual differences and special educational needs of students, the school provides high-quality educational services to help every student develop their full potential. It also encourages teachers and students to respect each other's individual differences and create an inclusive campus together.
The school adopts measures to provide more comprehensive care and appropriate arrangements to identify and support students with special needs as early as possible. The school also provides teachers with special education-related professional training to support students’ needs. We also set up regular meetings to follow up, review and provide appropriate assistance to students’ learning and support. The school attaches great importance to home-school cooperation and thus establishes a constant communication mechanism with parents to understand the needs of students and discuss strategies to support students together. There are two registered social workers in our school servicing students and their parents in their studies and life needs.
The school also provides special examination arrangements for students with special educational needs, such as extending exam duration, enlarging exam papers and reading exam papers by computer screen reading and software. The school assists in applying for special arrangements in public exam according to the evaluation report from the experts.
(3) Education Support for Non-Chinese Speaking(NCS) Students : Our school provides additional support for NCS students to facilitate their learning of Chinese: providing after-school support programmes in learning Chinese; appointing additional teacher(s)/teaching assistant(s) to support NCS students’ learning of Chinese; arranging intensive Chinese learning and teaching mode(s), e.g. pull-out learning if necessary, split-class/group learning, etc.; developing school-based Chinese Language curriculum and/or adapting learning and teaching materials; and organising cultural integration activities.
(4) Measures to provide adaptation for Learning and Assessment : 1. Formative and summative assessments are employed, so that students' performance in class, assignments, tests, examinations as well as their participation in co-curricular activities are all taken into consideration.
2. Based on the results of the assessments, teachers can make an adjustment in the curriculum and conduct follow-up actions such as holding enhancement and remedial classes, co-curricular activities and so on.
(5) Fee Remission : Our school offers full school fee remission or 1/2 school fee remission. Needy students, including those from families receiving the Comprehensive Social Security Assistance (CSSA) and students receiving financial assistance provided by the Student Financial Assistance Agency (SFAA) could apply for fee remission.

Home-school Co-operation and School Ethos
(1) Home-School Co-operation : To allow greater learner support, it is our mission to cultivate a positive school culture and ethos, to promote an all-round education and to establish close rapport with parents and external organizations.
(2) School Ethos : To establish a positive school culture and school spirit so as to promote the idea of "Whole-Person Education".

(2) Teacher Professional Training and Development : Teacher development and training provide teachers to understand the goals and policy of the school so as to enhance their sense of belonging to the school and the spirit of working as a team. Throughout the Staff Development Days, teachers are encouraged to take part in various workshops, seminars and discussions so that they have more chances to exchange the experiences. As a consequence, teachers' competence in teaching, classroom management skills, counselling skills and so on can be enhanced.
Life-wide Learning (including Five Essential Learning Experiences to be provided through Key Learning Areas, Extra-curricular Activities, Co-curricular Activities, etc.) : Life-wide learning aims to provide students with diversified learning opportunities, that is, learning in a real environment, learning through practice, and learning through communication with people from different backgrounds and industries.
1. Arranging students to visit different institutions to apply their subject knowledge in a real environment and gain learning experience through practice.
2. Inviting professionals from different fields to host lectures and arrange activities. Schools may also arrange students to visit the workplace of the professionals to broaden their horizons.
3. Participating in subject-related exhibitions, competitions, or organize community activities, etc. in which students can apply their knowledge and skills they have learned and gain group work and collaboration experiences.
Others : The school offers scholarships to provide learning-related assistance to students with financial difficulties.
Direct public transportation to School : By Lantau bus No. 37, or 38X during peak hours from Tung Chung MTR Station to Chung Yat Street.
Students can also take Lantau bus No. 39M to Mun Tung Estate and followed by a 5-minutes walk to school.
Remarks : The school has been cooperating with Education Bureau to provide support to all senior secondary school students in Hong Kong since 2003. It provides a wide range of practical and practical courses for the purpose of establishing school-based curriculum and Secondary 4 to Secondary 6 Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education.
Education Bureau agreed to have class restructure and expected to provide S1 classes in 2022/23 school year as earliest.
