Learning and Teaching Plan
(1) Whole-school Language Policy : The school implements streaming strategy to help students of different abilities. The curriculum and assessments are tailored to cater for varied needs.

The school-based MOI arrangement
In elite classes in junior forms, Mathematics is delivered in English. To build students’ vocabulary and enhance their competitive edge in the long run, almost all subjects in junior forms include 25% English components in the curriculum and assessment. In senior forms, 10% daily assessment is based on their English performance in other subjects.
(2) Learning and Teaching Strategies : We promote whole-school approach "paradigm teaching" and "self-directed learning" to give students more practical opportunities. In order to enhance students' ability in advanced learning, we develop systematic lessons preview platform and help them to form notes-taking habit.

In junior forms, students are expected to attain a solid foundation in the core subjects and develop diversified learning interests in daily context. In senior forms, to prepare for the forthcoming tertiary education, students are trained to master self-learning skills which enhance intellectual capacity. To further enhance the teaching effectiveness, Lesson Study has become a regular practice in the school.

Extensive reading sessions are implemented at all levels. Reading promotion projects such as book exhibitions and award schemes are launched. The school library plays a significant role in establishing a multi-media independent learning environment. The school library also serves as an evening study centre to develop student self learning habits.
