Secondary One Admission : Our school will accept discretionary places. Our school will participate in the Secondary School Places Allocation System through central allocation stage (Applicable for admission to S.1 in September 2024 ).1. Orientation Activities and Healthy Life : The summer Pre-S1 Parents Orientation Day is held to introduce the characteristics of the school and the curriculum to S1 students and parents and to meet with the class teachers to strengthen the connection and communication between parents and the school. To help students adapt to secondary school life, our school organises Chinese, English and mathematics bridging courses and adaptation workshops during summer (including e-learning, self-directed learning, discipline training, etc.). At the beginning of the school year, our senior form students will assist S1 students in adapting to secondary school life.

The school has set up a Healthy Campus Team to implement the "Healthy Campus Policy", organise various lectures and activities, create a healthy campus environment, help students build correct values and resilience, and cultivate students' healthy living habits.

(2) School Management Organisation : Our appraisal system intends to:

(3) Incorporated Management Committee / School Management Committee / Management Committee : The Incorporated Management Committee of the school was established in 2005 and is composed of representatives from sectors including business, education, legal, engineering, accounting, teachers, parents and alumni.
(4) School Green Policy : We promote environmental education, with a view to preparing our students to become responsible citizens with broad horizons and environmental awareness.
Learning and Teaching Plan
(1) Whole-school Language Policy : The school is committed to developing students' biliteracy and trilingualism abilities. Most subjects at the junior and intermediate levels have "Extended Learning Activities in English", and some subjects at S3 and senior form are taught in English to widen their exposure to English and improve their English proficiency. To create a rich language learning environment, departments of Chinese and English organize various activities to encourage students to use the language in daily life and participate in interschool competitions, such as writing, speech, and debate competitions, to sharpen students' language skills.
(2) Learning and Teaching Strategies : 1. Focus on teaching students according to their aptitude, promote curriculum adjustment and layered assignments, and use multiple teaching strategies to cater to students with different abilities and needs.
2. The self-directed learning plan is implemented in junior forms. Students are provided with self-study materials to prepare for class. Group discussions, presentations, reports and teacher feedback promote students' active learning and participation in class.
3. Chinese and English reading classes are set up for junior form to cultivate students' reading habits.
4. Promote interdisciplinary project studies at junior forms to encourage students to integrate and apply knowledge and skills from different subjects to enhance their learning.
5. Use information technology and e-learning for interactive learning. Junior form students bring their own devices (tablets) to class and are involved in e-learning activities which promote self-directed learning.
6. Implement targeted top-notch and supplementary programs, including Chinese, English, and Mathematics enrichment classes, junior form pre-exam classes, senior form intensive courses, and top-notch courses, etc., to improve students' academic performance.
(3) School-based curriculum : 1. Electives: 2X and 3X. In addition to the four core subjects in senior form, the school offers 13 elective subjects.
2. Curriculum highlights: Implement multiple school-based courses at junior and senior forms to enhance students' learning interests, including STEAM courses, life education courses, and career planning.
(4) Major Renewed Emphases in the School Curriculum : The school has strategically integrated the major renewed emphases (MRE) into the curriculum, including strengthening values education, learning Chinese history and culture, promoting cross-curricular language learning, promoting STEAM education and information technology education, cultivating pioneering and innovative spirit, and promoting diversity. To promote the whole-person development of students and enhance their lifelong learning.
(5) Life Planning Education : 1. Set career planning goals for all levels and implement them through systematic courses, interactive workshops, visits, and workplace experience activities.
2. Provide individual and specific group guidance for further studies or employment.
3. Organize parent education and employment activities, such as study tours in Mainland, visits to industrial and commercial institutions, online and offline seminars for different grades, etc.
4. Strengthen school-based vocational mentorship programs and business-school cooperation programs.
Student Support
(1) Whole School Approach to Catering for Learner Diversity : 1. The school organises classes according to student's abilities, and some subjects are taught in split/small classes or small groups to accommodate learning diversities.
2. The student support team adopts an inter-professional team model and collaborates with different administrative groups, teachers of various subjects and class teachers to comprehensively cater to students' individual needs.
(2) Whole School Approach to Integrated Education : Support Measures of Integrated Education in School:
1. The Student Support Team is co-ordinated by the Assistant Principal, with the Special Educational Needs Coordinator as the convener, in collaboration with the Educational Psychologist and the Guidance Committee Head. The team members include Special Educational Needs support teachers, social workers and counsellors.
2. Arrange teachers to attend courses on catering for students with special educational needs and invite them to share learning experiences at school.
3. To provide comprehensive student support, various professional services are purchased such as Clinical psychological services, speech therapy services, learning support groups, social groups, focus training groups, etc.
4. Implement an Individual Education Plan (IEP) for students needing intensive individualised support.
5. Arrange life-wide learning activities to help students with different interests and abilities achieve whole-person development.
6. Cultivate a caring school culture by arranging peer counselling programmes.
7. Promote equality, diversity and integration in school by organising integration programmes.
(3) Education Support for Non-Chinese Speaking (NCS) Students : Our school provides additional support for NCS students to facilitate their learning of Chinese: providing after-school support programmes in learning Chinese; appointing additional teacher(s)/teaching assistant(s) to support NCS students’ learning of Chinese; arranging intensive Chinese learning and teaching mode(s), e.g. pull-out learning if necessary, split-class/group learning, etc.; developing school-based Chinese Language curriculum and/or adapting learning and teaching materials; organising activities to create an inclusive learning environment in the school; and hiring additional manpower and/or translation/interpretation services to facilitate the communication with parents.
(4) Measures to provide adaptation for learning and assessment : 1. There are two examinations in the whole year. Progressive assessment is provided for each subject. There is a uniform test in the first and second terms, and daily assignments, quizzes, project learning, and class performance are parts of the assessment.
2. Our school adjusts the curriculum and teaching materials according to the needs of students. Also, it provides adjustment arrangements for internal tests to help students strive for the best results in the fairest environment.
Home-School Co-operation and School Ethos
(1) Home-School Co-operation : The Parent-Teacher Association has been established for many years. It actively involves in school activities, like regularly organizes parent-child trips and parent activities, and sets up a parent volunteer team to assist the school in holding various large-scale activities.
(2) School Ethos : Our school emphasizes both discipline and love in enriching students' learning experiences. We provide value education by integrating it into the life education curriculum and various extra-curricular activities covering leadership training, social services, cross-border visits and club activities.

(2) Teacher Professional Training and Development : Our school encourages teachers to continue their studies and improve their teaching quality. Some subjects participate in the schemes conducted by the Education Bureau and universities to optimise curriculum planning and implementation. The school has established peer-to-peer lesson observation, joint lesson preparation and collaborative teaching plans to promote teaching exchanges and improve classroom learning and teaching effectiveness.
The teachers of the school have won many professional awards, including the Chief Executive's Teaching Excellence Award, the International Outstanding Electronic Teaching Award, the Hong Kong Primary and Secondary School Innovation and Technology Achievement Award, the Hong Kong Youth Science and Technology Innovation Competition Outstanding STEM Teacher Award, etc., reflecting the effectiveness of the school's teachers' teaching strategies Remarkable, recognised and affirmed by the public. Teachers of our school are often invited by the Education Bureau and other educational organisations to serve as keynote speakers and share their teaching achievements with teachers of primary and secondary schools.
Life-wide Learning (including Five Essential Learning Experiences to be provided through Key Learning Areas, extra-curricular activities, co-curricular activities, etc.) : 1. Uniformed teams (St. John Ambulance Brigade, Flag-guard), school teams (basketball, badminton, table-tennis, volleyball, athletic, cross-country running, dodgeball, Taekwondo, cycling, Chinese dance, Jazz, choir, orchestra, handchime, STEAM, robot, visual arts, debate etc.). The school offers 50 clubs, providing a diverse range of extracurricular activities.
2. Our school has a Life-Wide Learning Day. The themes of junior secondary are STEAM, art and humanities knowledge. The themes of senior secondary are volunteer service, pre-employment experience and guidance for further studies.
