Our mission is to provide an all-round education to promote the moral, intellectual, physical, social and aesthetic development of students. Through a well-balanced curriculum and a positive learning environment, we offer students opportunities for realizing their potential to the full and growing in a sense of self-discipline, civic responsibility, concern and respect for others as well as commitment to the common good in their service to home, country and humanity.

Secondary One Admission : Our school will accept discretionary places. Our school will participate in the Secondary School Places Allocation System through central allocation stage (Applicable for admission to S.1 in September 2024 ).Secondary One Admission: 70% of our students are recruited through SSPA Central Allocation, with the remaining 30% by Discretionary Places Allocation. The overall admission criteria and weightings are as follows: 1. Selection Criteria for Interview: (a) Academic Results in School and Discretionary Places Rank Order 40%. (b) Awards and Services 20%. 2. Performance in Interview 40%.
Orientation Activities and Healthy Life : S.1 Orientation Days: Guidance & Counselling Committee organizes a variety of activities to help students adapt to a new learning environment and new school life.
Careers and Life Planning Education Committee arranges programs to introduce the importance of self-understanding, appreciation and positive thinking.
Pre-S.1 English, Chinese and Mathematics Summer Bridging Programmes are held.

School Management
(1)School's Major Concerns : 1. To strengthen students’ self-directed learning capacity and teachers’ professional development ;

(2) School Management Organisation : Administration procedures are streamlined and staff collaboration is advocated so as to enhance school effectiveness.
(3) Incorporated Management Committee / School Management Committee / Management Committee : A School Management Committee has been formed.
(4) School Green Policy : There are Environmental Monitors/Monitresses in each class to keep the cleanliness of the classrooms, collect waste paper for recycling and reduce the consumption of electricity in the classrooms. The school's Environmental Education Committee regularly organizes activities to enhance students' environmental awareness and promote green practices among students.
Learning and Teaching Plan
(1) Whole-school Language Policy : English is the medium of instruction, and students are cultivated to become biliterate and trilingual.
(2) Learning and Teaching Strategies : Our school is student-oriented and provides an all-round education. Plenty of opportunities are offered to allow students to learn outside the confines of the classroom to broaden their horizons. Through a well-balanced curriculum, an inspiring learning environment, and our devotion to education, our school enables students to realize their potential to the full.

(4) Major Renewed Emphases in the School Curriculum : To enable students to:
- become an informed and responsible citizen with a sense of national and global identity, appreciation of positive values and attitudes as well as Chinese culture, and respect for pluralism in society;
- acquire and construct a broad and solid knowledge base, and to understand contemporary issues that may impact on students' daily lives at personal, community, national and global levels;
- become proficient in biliterate and trilingual communication;
- develop and apply generic skills in an integrative manner, and to become an independent and self-directed learner;
- use information and information technology ethically, flexibly and effectively;
- understand one's own interests, aptitudes and abilities, and to develop and reflect upon personal goals with aspirations for further studies and future career; and
- lead a healthy lifestyle with active participation in physical and aesthetic activities, and to appreciate sports and the arts.
(5) Life Planning Education : 1. Assist students to understand their interests, abilities, needs and priorities in relation to further education, vocational training opportunities and job opportunities.
2. Provide individual and group guidance on goal setting, study opportunities and job opportunities.
Student Support
(1) Whole School Approach to Catering for Learner Diversity : To help students with particular individual needs, our Student Support Team launches developmental and remedial programmes after school hours. For the gifted students, opportunities will be provided for them to take part in external competitions and off-site programmes offered by local tertiary institutes aiming at specific subject areas.
(2) Whole School Approach to Integrated Education : Student Support Team is dedicated to the implementation of integrated education through the whole school approach. The members of the team include Assistant Principals, Guidance Mistress, teacher-in-charge of Pastoral Care, SEN coordinator and School Social Workers. In addition to individual counselling and case referral to school-based educational psychologist and speech therapist, class teachers' meetings and case conferences are to be held to review the support measures. To facilitate students' whole person development and enhance their learning effectiveness, Learning Support Grant is deployed flexibly to provide professional support to address the specific needs of SEN.
(3) Education Support for Non-Chinese Speaking (NCS) Students : Our school provides additional support for NCS students to facilitate their learning of Chinese: providing after-school support programmes in learning Chinese; arranging intensive Chinese learning and teaching mode(s), e.g. pull-out learning if necessary, split-class/group learning, etc.; developing school-based Chinese Language curriculum and/or adapting learning and teaching materials; and organising activities to create an inclusive learning environment in the school.
(4) Measures to provide adaptation for learning and assessment : Apart from Mid-year and Yearly Examinations at the end of each term, students also need to take the Uniform Test in each term. Moreover, diverse assessment methods like continuous and formative assessments are adopted. Quizzes and tests are regularly conducted to check students' progress.
Home-School Co-operation and School Ethos
(1) Home-School Co-operation : To facilitate the communication between school and home, the Parent-Teachers' Association was set up in 1955. Apart from the Annual General Meeting, there are various activities like the Annual Dinner, School Camp visits, parents' talks and voluntary services organized during the year. The Parents' Newsletters, the School Newsletters and the School Magazine further enhance communication between parents and the school.
(2) School Ethos : We are committed to promoting a liberal, harmonious and supportive school atmosphere conducive to students' all-round and whole-person development.
Future Development
(1) School Development Plan : School Development Plan 2021/22 - 2023/24:
1. To strengthen students' self-directed learning capacity and teachers' professional development;
2. To nurture students to be responsible leaders with positive values, healthy lifestyle and global perspective.
(2) Teacher Professional Training and Development : Great importance is attached to staff professional development and training. There are Staff Development Days and Self Professional Development Plans. Subsidies are available for teachers' enrolment in professional development courses.
Life-wide Learning (including Five Essential Learning Experiences to be provided through Key Learning Areas, extra-curricular activities, co-curricular activities, etc.) : There are four houses and over 30 clubs of 3 different categories: subject-based, interests & personal development and services.

Remarks : From S.1 to S.6, there are four classes in each form. In senior levels, our school provides students with a broad and balanced curriculum. Students can choose their preferred elective subjects according to their interests and abilities.
