| (1) Whole-school Language Policy | : | Our school places much emphasis on providing a language-rich environment for the students so as to enhance their biliterate and trilingual proficiency: (1) Language subjects cover the highest of 38% learning time; (2) English is the medium of instruction in selected classes in F.1 F.3 Mathematics, F.1 F.2 Science and F.3 Science (Physics, Chemistry and Biology); (3) Extended Learning Activities in English are organised in junior-form Mathematics, Science, Humanities and Technology subjects; (4) A writing-across-the-curriculum programme is implemented in collaboration of English, Science and Life & Society Panels; (5) English is the medium of instruction in some NSS subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Business, Accounting and Financial Studies) (6) In view of broadening the students' horizons and enriching their experiences, the school encourages students to take part in various activities and competitions including English debating competitions, writing competitions and Speech Festival. |

| (1) Whole School Approach to Catering for Learner Diversity | : | (1) Our school has set up the Gifted Education Team. We offer enhancement courses for our top students to develop their potentials, achieving excellent results in the public examination. (2) We encourage our students to participate in programmes for the gifted and talented organized by the University of Hong Kong, the Chinese University of Hong Kong and the Hong Kong Academy for Gifted Education by using the Diversity Learning Grant. Over twenty students are admitted to the courses every year after screening tests. (3) We offer various training for students who excel at sports, debating or in other areas and they are encouraged to participate in different competitions by using the Diversity Learning Grant and donations from alumni. The English Debate Team had won various awards in the Hong Kong Secondary Schools Debating Competition (both senior and junior sections) for several years. (4) Our school has set up a Student Support Team and we employ full-time guidance and supporting teachers to provide extra help to students who need special assistance. (5) Tailor-made curricula are introduced in some F. 1 and F. 2 classes in Chinese, English and Mathematics. After-school remedial classes are provided to help students having difficulties in doing their homework. |

Besides, the PTA arranges numerous parent volunteers to help on F.1 registration days; (2) There are two parents' days per year when parents talk to class teachers individually; (3) A 2-way communication channel between the school and parents is efficiently set up through newsletter, school webpage, parent app, parent days, parent nights and direct contact; (4) Our school will hold a number of seminars or workshops for parents, including a seminar on selection of subjects and further studies for parents of F.3 students, a seminar for parents of F.6 graduates, a thankfulness night and Form 1 to Form 3 parents' nights; (5) Details of school assignments are regularly uploaded to the school website.
