Secondary One Admission : Our school will not participate in the Secondary School Places Allocation System through central allocation stage (Applicable for admission to S.1 in September 2025 ).All S.1 places are allocated under Discretionary Places. S.1 Admission Criteria and Weightings: Academic results: 30%, Conduct: 30%, Extracurricular activities: 20% and Interview performance: 20%.
Orientation Activities and Healthy Life : A free four-week S.1 bridging course is available which includes activities like Drama, Handbell, Film & TV, Rock climbing, Trampoline, English Choral Speaking, Chinese Choral Speaking, STEAM, Junior Secondary English Supplementary Course and Parent-Child Workshop.

(4) School Green Policy : Our school has been certified by the Hong Kong Green Building Council as BEAM Plus Existing Schools. This certification demonstrates that the school can sustain its environmental initiatives and serves as a good role model. Our school has also established an "Environmental Ambassador" group, aimed at nurturing students' sense of environmental responsibility, enhancing their leadership skills, and encouraging active participation in improving the environment. Through various environmental activities, students can set clear environmental targets, strengthening their civic duty to cherish the Earth and conserve resources.
Additionally, we've created the "Eco-Conservation 360" zone. This serves as an environmental education base for our students.
Learning and Teaching Plan
(1) Whole-school Language Policy : To enhance students' academic performance and learning capabilities, we have established Junior Secondary EMI classes (with English as the medium of instruction) and Junior Secondary Bi-Lingual Classes (with Chinese as the medium of instruction and complemented by English vocabulary and English extended activities) based on students' interests and abilities. Additionally, we have specially hired several professional native English teachers to implement English teaching activities.
(2) Learning and Teaching Strategies : Our school advocates "ACTIVE Education", combined with a "Deep Learning" approach using "Holistic Education" as the development framework to provide an "active" learning environment and "active" knowledge, so that students with different aptitudes and talents can achieve excellence through appropriate learning and teaching. Our teaching methods include social aspects, real-life connections, critical thinking, and technology, making learning more relevant and effective. Every year, the school organizes three Deep Learning Weeks. These weeks encourage students to learn across different subjects, levels, and classes. Topics include foreign languages, Chinese culture, STEAM, and more. Activities cover Japanese language, forensic science, astronomy, roller skating, Tai Chi, Chinese painting, and tea art, helping students build systematic learning skills, and promoting the philosophy that "education is life; life is education".
(3) School-based Curriculum : 1. Electives: 2X and 3X. Tourism and Hospitality studies, Visual Arts, History, Chinese History, Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Economies, Geography, Information and Communication Technology, BAFS (Accounting Module), BAFS (Business Management Module), Health Management and Social Care, Mathematics (Extended Part Module 2).
2. Curriculum highlights: Our school has specially set up a subject "STEAM". We implement phenomenon-based project courses, which include AI, drones, IoT, 3D scanning and printing, etc. Our school offers various extension courses to reinforce learning. They include the Metaverse, Minecraft, AI robots, and programming. Drama is a regular subject in our Junior Secondary curriculum, taught by full-time professional performing arts teachers. This helps cultivate students' communication skills, language abilities, and self-confidence.
(4) Major Renewed Emphases in the School Curriculum : The Dream Laboratory and the Future Learning Hub were set up to actively promote educational technology, utilizing "Artificial Intelligence", "Immersive Projection" and the "Metaverse" thus preparing students for a future tech-driven society. Additionally, the school will implement cross-curricular collaboration, central homework tutorial scheme, holistic education courses and Whole-school Service Learning program that enhance students holistic development.
(5) Life Planning Education : Our school has established a Career Guidance & Counseling Program and a Career Guidance Office. Each S.6 student will be assigned a teacher to provide career planning advice and support. The school also organizes various career planning activities for all levels, such as visits to tertiary institutions, simulated life experience days, career exploration days, and "Building Your Future" seminars. These activities are conducted in collaboration with different elective subjects to provide pathways for further education and employment.
Student Support
(1) Whole School Approach to Catering for Learner Diversity : 1. The main subjects at all levels are taught in groups or tiers according to the volume or students' learning abilities.
2. “Intensive and Remedial Schemes” are to be carried out in all forms. “Elite Students Scheme” and After-school Extended Learning are also set up for raising learning effectiveness.
3. Counseling teachers of further studies and career planning help students to solve problems encountered in learning and life.
4. Two Guidance Counsellors, two Social Workers and one Service Learning Coordinator in school to support students’ development.
5. Implementation of Gifted Education to identify and develop students’ gifts and talents, helping them realize and nurture their own potential.
(2) Whole School Approach to Integrated Education : Our school provides services from educational psychologists, clinical psychologists, and speech therapists, led by a Special Educational Needs Coordinator who oversees the Student Support Team. This team collaborates with all teachers, social workers, and counselors to address the needs of our students. We effectively utilize Learning Support Grants, engage in whole-school participation, and apply a three-tier support model, which includes "Enhanced Teaching," "Small Group Support," and "Individual Support." These measures are tailored to meet the unique needs and progress of each student, thereby promoting an inclusive school environment. Specific strategies include adjusting curricula and classroom settings, forming various developmental groups, hosting parent seminars, and regularly conducting case conferences. Additionally, if assessments are required, the school arranges appropriate exam accommodations based on the assessment outcomes and assists in applying for accommodations for the DSE.
(3) Education Support for Non-Chinese Speaking (NCS) Students : Our school provides additional support for NCS students to facilitate their learning of Chinese: arranging intensive Chinese learning and teaching mode(s), e.g. pull-out learning if necessary, split-class/group learning, etc.; and organising activities to create an inclusive learning environment in the school.
(4) Measures to Provide Adaptation for Learning and Assessment : In our school, all Junior Secondary students undergo continuous assessment and two exams throughout the year, while High school students have two assessment weeks and two exams each year to evaluate their learning outcomes. Junior Secondary students of Computer and Information Technology are also required to do project learning for evaluating their learning abilities. Examinations are to be adjusted according to learning difficulties encountered by students. Students are required to sit re-examinations of major subjects in each examination in order to consolidate their academic foundation.
(5) Fee Remission : Our school offers full school fee remission or 1/2 school fee remission. Needy students, including those from families receiving the Comprehensive Social Security Assistance (CSSA) and students receiving financial assistance provided by the Student Financial Assistance Agency (SFAA) could apply for fee remission.

Home-School Co-operation and School Ethos
(1) Home-School Co-operation : The Parent-Teacher Association promotes parent education and enhances Home-School Co-operation. Since its establishment, it has actively participated in school activities, regularly organizing parenting picnic, social gatherings, and parenting talks for parents and children, and assisting with the implementation of various large-scale events at the school.
(2) School Ethos : We emphasize establishing a school culture of love and care, fostering harmonious teacher-student relationships. We provide students with various positive guidance and support programs, such as the “Star-Picking Scheme”, “Junior Mentor Program” etc. We offer a mandatory curriculum in Chinese Culture Aesthetic and Arts through which students can learn Tea Arts and cultivate their character. We implement a whole-school service-learning program to develop leadership skills and require students to participate in at least 10 hours of off-campus community service annually, fostering self-confidence.

(2) Teacher Professional Training and Development : 100% of our English Language and Putonghua teachers are up to the standard of benchmarks tests. All teachers, in each academic year, are required to attend professional training talks or workshops held outside our school. At least three professional training activities for teachers are to be held annually. “Quality Lesson Observation” and “Peers Lesson Observation” are also carried out to promote teachers’ standard of teaching.
Life-wide Learning (Including Five Essential Learning Experiences to be Provided through Key Learning Areas, Extra-curricular Activities, Co-curricular Activities, etc.) : The Arts and Talents Group includes the Flag Raising Team, Scout and Venture Scout, Road Safety Patrol, Hong Kong Red Cross, Hong Kong Sea Cadet Corps, Hong Kong Air Cadet Corps, Marching Band and Orchestra Units. Academic Achievements:
- Participated in the "Infomatrix 2024 World Finals" held in Romania, winning a Platinum Award with the application "FIT for you," which utilizes artificial intelligence for health, entertainment, and social interaction. They were one of the top three teams in their category to receive this highest honor.
- Participated in the "Greater Bay Area Grifted Story-telling and Speech Competition 2023" organized by the "Hong Kong Gifted Education Teachers' Association" and won the Star of Stars, Gold, Silver, and Bronze Awards.
- Participated in the "Greater Bay Area Gifted Creative Writing Competition 2023" organized by the "Hong Kong Gifted Education Teachers' Association" and achieved Gold, Silver, and Bronze Awards.
-Participated in the "Future Intelligence Student Olympiad 2023" hosted by "FISO," and won Gold and Bronze in Mathematics, Silver and Bronze in Biology, Bronze in Chemistry, and Bronze in Science.

Arts and Sports:
- During the "2023/24 Drama Festival" the team received multiple awards including Outstanding Script, Outstanding Director, Outstanding Actor, Outstanding Stage Effect, Outstanding Collaboration, and Outstanding Overall Performance.
- At the "76th Inter-School Music Festival" achieved Silver in Liuqin Solo Junior Category, Bronze in Yangqin Solo Junior Category, and Bronze in Graded Zheng Solo Level 8.
- Participated in the "Bellprints International Handbell Competition and Masterclass 2024" organized by Bellprints Handbell Supply, winning a Gold Award.
- Competed in the "Inter-School Music Competition 2024 - Handbells/Handchimes (Secondary School Division)" organized by the Hong Kong Inter-School Music Association, securing a Silver Award.
- In the "Youth Light Volleyball Fun Fest Inter-School Competition" co-hosted by the Colorful Sports Fund and the Hong Kong Light (Air) Volleyball Association, won the runner-up in the Secondary School Boys' Division.
- Achieved multiple accolades at the "Inter-School Athletics Competition" organized by the Hong Kong Schools Sports Federation, including champions in Boys' Grade A 4X100 meters relay, Girls' Grade B 4X100 meters relay, Girls' Grade B Team Overall, Girls' Grade B Long Jump, and Boys' Grade B 800 meters.
- Participated in the "Hong Kong School Taekwondo Competition 2024 (Secondary and Tertiary Divisions)" organized by the Hong Kong Taekwondo Association, securing third place in the Secondary Girls' Youth Black Belt Lightweight category and Secondary Boys' Colored Belt Lightweight category.

Service Learning:
- Participated in the "Hong Kong Volunteer Awards 2023," co-organized by the Civil Affairs and Youth Affairs Bureau and the Volunteer Development Bureau, where they received accolades as one of the Top Ten Caring Schools and an Outstanding Youth Volunteer Team.
