The newly established STEAM Lab nurtures students' creativity and practical problem-solving skills. The entire school is equipped with wireless Wi-Fi, supporting electronic learning and information technology education. During students' free time, they can develop their physical fitness in the gym, basketball court, and volleyball court, as well as socialize by the large recreational garden and fish pond, allowing for holistic relaxation of the mind, body, and spirit.

Secondary One Admission : Our school will accept discretionary places. Our school will participate in the Secondary School Places Allocation System through central allocation stage (Applicable for admission to S.1 in September 2025 ).The criteria of admission through the S.1 Discretionary Places stage are as follows: 1. Conduct in P.5 & P.6 must be on average Grade B or above (Prerequisite) 2. Rank order (issued by EDB) (40%) 3. Academic performance in P.5 & P.6 (10%) 4. Orientation Activities and Healthy Life : 1. The S.1 Orientation programme is conducted to help S.1 students adapt to secondary school life and their parents to have a better understanding of the school culture and policies. The school also provides summer foundation and bridging courses to help students adapt to context of learning in a secondary school.
2. The school pays great attention to students’ physical and mental health. Apart from promoting mental health among students through provision of Mindfulness activities, the school also cultivates students’ mental health by organizing and participating in voluntary services.
3. The school also promotes physical health by encouraging our students to participate in sports activities, School Physical Fitness Award Scheme and other sports programmes.
4. Through Class Teachers periods, talks, morning assemblies and cultural exchange activities, the school helps the students to develop a positive outlook on life, to set a clear goal in life, to develop self-discipline and high self-esteem, and become good citizens who care and are willing to serve their community.

(2) School Management Organisation : The SMC was set up in 1999. The members include a representative of EDB, independent members, the Principal, teacher members, parent members and alumni members. The SMC holds regular meetings to ensure good school management, to formulate objectives of running the school, to monitor and evaluate progress towards attainment of the objectives, and to monitor the financial situation of the school. The school has set up Policy 4 School Development Committee, Academic Affairs Committee and Whole-person Development Committee to formulate school development plans and various polices while different subject departments and student support teams are formed to coordinate school affairs and implement school policies.

Learning and Teaching Plan
(1) Whole-school Language Policy : We put a lot of efforts in developing students’ biliterate and trilingual abilities. We aim to create a language-rich environment for students to learn English in the campus. English is the medium of instruction for a majority of subjects in junior and senior forms.
(2) Learning and Teaching Strategies : A team of professional and experienced teaching staff is committed to developing our students’ whole-person education, helping them become biliterate and trilingual and competent with IT skills to meet the challenges of the future. Through the promotion of cooperative learning, e-learning, pre-lesson preparation and multiple instructional strategies, we develop students’ self-regulated learning ability, creativity and potentials.
(3) School-based Curriculum : 1. Electives: 2X and 3X. he school provides various combinations of elective subjects. Mathematics Extended Module 2 is one of the elective subjects.
2. Curriculum highlights: The school offers a balanced and diversified junior curriculum which covers 15 subjects including Chinese Language, English Language, Mathematics, Science and Life and Society Citizenship, Economics and Society. In senior forms, apart from the four compulsory subjects, students can select arts, science or commercial subjects. Furthermore, the school offers Positive Values Education, which incorporates Moral, Civic and National Education, Health and Environmental Education, so as to cultivate whole-person development in students.
(4) Major Renewed Emphases in the School Curriculum : 1. The school emphasizes Moral, Civic and National Education to foster positive values and good character among students.
2. The school promotes Reading across the Curriculum with dedicated reading periods in junior forms and encourages cross-curricular activities for all.
3. A Project Learning Team coordinates interactive project-learning activities in areas like social education and STEAM for junior form students, allowing them to choose their interests while receiving teacher guidance.
4. The school optimizes its hardware and software to create a conducive environment for effective IT use in learning and teaching.
(5) Life Planning Education : 1. To help students set up clear objectives for their further studies and employment at different developmental stages so as to enhance their personal conduct and academic achievement.
2. To give students a deeper insight into life planning through different career and life planning activities.
3. In order to strengthen the home-school cooperation and students’ experience, the school organizes talks on career and life planning and senior secondary subject choice.
4. To organize different learning activities to let students understand different study and career pathways available to them in response to the development of the Senior Secondary Curriculum.
5. To encourage students to explore different pathways and design their implementation plan.

Student Support
(1) Whole School Approach to Catering for Learner Diversity : 1. To cater for our students’ diverse needs, the school set up the post of SEN Coordinator and the Gifted Education Team. A comprehensive information system is built up to help teachers to identify our students’ potentials in various aspects and arrange suitable courses for them, which encourages them to unleash their potentials and attain self-advancement.
2. Diversified extra-curricular activities for our students are organized by the Four Houses and 41 clubs with a view to creating various life-wide learning opportunities for them to unleash their potentials.
(2) Whole School Approach to Integrated Education : 1. The core members of the Learning Support Unit, the Special Educational Needs Coordinator, and the Special Educational Needs support teachers are committed to establishing an inclusive campus culture. They utilize additional resources, including EDB Grant, to adapt the curriculum according to students' needs and employ diverse teaching and learning strategies to support students of varying abilities. In our school, 66.7% of the teaching staff have received systematic special education training.
2. For individual students with ongoing and severe difficulties, the school provides personalized enhanced support, including instructional and assessment adjustments, counseling groups, social skills training groups, speech therapy services, and Individual Education Plan. Each year, the school provides summaries of support services to the parents of students with special educational needs, listens to parents' opinions, and has mechanisms in place to discuss student progress.
(3) Education Support for Non-Chinese Speaking (NCS) Students : Our school provides additional support for NCS students to facilitate their learning of Chinese: providing after-school support programmes in learning Chinese; appointing additional teacher(s)/teaching assistant(s) to support NCS students’ learning of Chinese; and organising activities to create an inclusive learning environment in the school.
(4) Measures to Provide Adaptation for Learning and Assessment : 1. Through the use of multiple assessment methods, the school evaluates students’ learning effectiveness. Besides term tests and examinations, the school promotes continuous assessment by incorporating students’ performance in their coursework marks.
2. The school makes good use of evaluation data to promote learning and teaching, and encourages students to reflect on their learning outcomes.
3. The teachers will adjust their teaching strategies based on the varied learning styles of different classes. They will also adapt their objectives and the content of assessments and assignments in consideration of students’ diverse needs and abilities.
Home-School Co-operation and School Ethos
(1) Home-School Co-operation : Set up in 1994, the PTA has striven to promote home-school cooperation and encourage parents' engagement and support for school programmes. PTA offers scholarships and subsidies for students' activities, and parent volunteers serve as instructors for interest groups and adjudicators for different competitions.
(2) School Ethos : With the whole-school approach of discipline and counseling, the school has created a disciplined yet caring and harmonious learning atmosphere for the students. The teachers and students maintain a good relationship. The school also adopts a wide range of learning and teaching strategies to cater for learners' diversity to enhance their academic performance. Through the Peer Counselling Programme, students have been helped to grow up in an atmosphere of mutual help and encouragement through the promotion of a caring school culture.

(2) Teacher Professional Training and Development : Three Staff Development Days are organized each year to encourage the teachers to share their professional knowledge and boost their professional competences so as to keep up with the trend of educational development. The staff is encouraged to participate in peer and open lesson observations to enhance the effectiveness of learning and teaching. The staff members are highly motivated to develop professionally by attending courses and seminars organized by different organisations to keep abreast of the new curriculum trends and educational reforms.
Life-wide Learning (Including Five Essential Learning Experiences to be Provided through Key Learning Areas, Extra-curricular Activities, Co-curricular Activities, etc.) : The school offers 41 clubs and school teams which provide a balanced variety of extra-curricular activities, covering aspects of academic, sports, arts, interests and social services. There are also programmes and competitions of different nature organized by clubs, teams, Houses, Student Association and various subjects. The Non-academic Accreditation System successfully motivates students to take part in activities of different nature so as to develop students' multiple intelligence and enrich their life experiences. The school has specially set up Life-wide learning weeks to allow students to walk out of the classroom and learn in a real situation and a practical environment to achieve the goal of whole-person development.
