Secondary One Admission : Our school will accept discretionary places. Our school will participate in the Secondary School Places Allocation System through central allocation stage (Applicable for admission to S.1 in September 2025 ).Academic Performance 40%; Conduct & Attitude 30%; Interview performance 20%; Extracurricular activities & others 10%.
Orientation Activities and Healthy Life : Summer bridging course, Orientation Day, Parents Day and S.1 Young Hearts Camp are launched for S.1 students and their parents. Through the sharing at morning assemblies, class teacher periods and interest classes, our school enhances students' knowledge of physical and mental health and nurtures their active and positive healthy lifestyles. Besides, our school has joined the Healthy School Programme and has conducted diversified activities to enhance students' determination to resist the temptation of drugs, and build up their healthy lifestyles and resilience.

School Management

(2) School Management Organisation : School Management Committee has been set up. Regular meetings are conducted to review school's administration, management and development plans.
(3) Incorporated Management Committee / School Management Committee / Management Committee : School Management Committee Members include Principal Education Officer from EDB, principal, parents, teachers, community members and alumni representatives.
(4) School Green Policy : Value Education Team strives to create a green environment. Students are educated to protect the environment, conserve energy and support waste recycling.
Learning and Teaching Plan
(1) Whole-school Language Policy : According to the Policy of Fine-tuning of Medium of Instruction for Secondary Schools, we have some subjects taught in English for the EMI capable S.1 students. To master the basic skills for bi-literacy and tri-lingualism, remedial and enhancement courses of Chinese and English are tailor-made for our students. There are also English Week and various reading schemes to enrich students' interest and ability in language learning.
(2) Learning and Teaching Strategies : We emphasize students' whole-person development, academic performance and conduct. We cultivate independent learning and generic skills. The curriculum of individual subjects is adjusted according to students' needs and abilities. Our Academic Promotion and Affairs Committee promotes and develops academic affairs. Various reading schemes, including Extensive Reading Scheme and morning reading sessions, are launched to cultivate students' reading habit and to promote bi-literacy and tri-lingualism.
(3) School-based Curriculum : 1. Electives: 3X. To cater for individual abilities, aptitudes and interests, different senior secondary elective subjects are offered to students.

(2) Diploma of Vocational Education (Senior Secondary courses) (Students can study Higher Diploma offered by IVE/ HKDI after completion)

(4) Major Renewed Emphases in the School Curriculum : 1. A wide variety of reading schemes are launched to cultivate students’reading habit.
2. STEAM Education, e-teaching and e-learning are promoted at school.
3. Students are helped to develop an understanding of Chinese culture and Chinese history.
4. Various activities are organized by Value Education Team to promote healthy school life, civic responsibilities, concern for our motherland and patriotism.
5. Adopt a whole-school participation approach to establish positive values and diligent learning attitudes among students.
(5) Life Planning Education : Our school places great emphasis on Career and Life Planning Education. Through a wide variety of career and life planning activities, we aim at broadening students’ horizons, assisting them in building up positive values and guiding them to plan their life proactively.
At junior levels, we instill the important concept of career and life planning. Through various activities , including visits and workshops, students are trained to know more about themselves, and explore and discover their potentials. A wide variety of activities, for instance, seminars on Senior Secondary Curriculum’s subject choices, alumni sharing sessions, consultation day on elective subjects, career aptitude test and group counselling, are organized to raise S.3 students’ awareness of selecting the most suitable elective subjects in their senior secondary years.
At senior levels, numerous activities such as Career and Life Planning Camp, multiple pathways talk, Mock Release of HKDSE Results, alumni sharing, career mentorship programme, visits to tertiary institutes and exhibition on tertiary education are arranged for senior students to keep them abreast of the information about multiple pathways. Moreover, our school strongly supports and encourages students to participate in careers explorations and job placement. Through company programmes, visiting to different companies and job shadowing activities, students are able to taste the experiences of working in authentic workplaces so as to get a deeper understanding of the different job categories and situations available in society.
Student Support
(1) Whole School Approach to Catering for Learner Diversity : To cater for students' diverse learning needs, small class teaching as well as remedial and enhancement classes are conducted.
(2) Whole School Approach to Integrated Education : Through an inter-professional team model closely monitored by Principal, Assistant Principal, the SEN coordinator, Student Support Team, educational psychologist, speech therapist, occupational therapist and social worker, our school promotes ‘whole-school participation’ integrated education. Our school emphasizes home-school cooperation and provides parents with a "Student Support Summary" every year and invites relevant parents to participate in ‘Individual Learning Plan’ meetings. Different school functional groups work closely to formulate support plans, curriculum and teaching adjustments, and special arrangements for examinations and assessments for students with special educational needs to cater for the learning needs of students with autism and dyslexia, and strengthens social and emotional management education. At the same time, our school's educational psychologist will also conduct cognitive or literacy assessments for students with special educational needs to arrange support or apply for special examination arrangements for the Diploma of Secondary Education Examination. Our school also introduces appropriate assistive devices, such as screen readers and speech-to-text software, to provide students with good training and learning opportunities and eliminate their learning barriers. Our school flexibly uses the Learning Support Grant and the Support Grant for Non-Chinese Speaking Students with Special Educational Needs to support students with different special learning needs, providing different types of after-school learning support classes, non-Chinese speaking learning support classes, life planning activities, social training groups, individual learning plans, individual painting class tutoring, music stress relief activities and so on.
(3) Education Support for Non-Chinese Speaking (NCS) Students : Our school provides additional support for NCS students to facilitate their learning of Chinese: providing after-school support programmes in learning Chinese; appointing additional teacher(s)/teaching assistant(s) to support NCS students’ learning of Chinese; arranging intensive Chinese learning and teaching mode(s), e.g. pull-out learning if necessary, split-class/group learning, etc.; developing school-based Chinese Language curriculum and/or adapting learning and teaching materials; and organising activities to create an inclusive learning environment in the school.
(4) Measures to Provide Adaptation for Learning and Assessment : There are two examinations, two uniform tests and continuous assessment of all subjects in each academic year.
Home-School Co-operation and School Ethos
(1) Home-School Co-operation : In order to help students realize their potential and to enhance quality of learning, Parents-Teachers' Association strives to render support and provide scholarships to benefit students. In addition, the association organizes parent-child functions, bazaars, talks, seminars, interest classes for parents and students to join.
(2) School Ethos : We are committed to maintaining a harmonious and disciplined school atmosphere conducive to students' strong motivation to excel, be responsible and respect for others. The cooperation among different functional groups helps develop a caring and loving learning environment. Activities such as self-access learning, interviews, exchange tours, etc aim to encourage our students to pursue correct values and develop a positive attitude to life. Thus, we will see our students' fostering spirits in the local community and helping them to become responsible citizens. Through the caring school culture, our students can enjoy studying in a school full of love, harmony and joy.

(2) Teacher Professional Training and Development : Staff Development & Mentoring Committee organizes three Staff Development Days, with workshops, seminars, talks and group discussions to enhance teaching professionalism. Our school sends information about teacher professional development to teachers through mobile phone apps, and promote the culture of lesson observation to allow teachers to share teaching ideas. To help our new teachers adapt to the new working environment, a mentoring programme is established. Moreover, our school encourage teachers to participate actively in training courses, workshops and seminars provided by the EDB and other Educational Institutes.
Life-wide Learning (Including Five Essential Learning Experiences to be Provided through Key Learning Areas, Extra-curricular Activities, Co-curricular Activities, etc.) : There are 4 main categories of extra-circular activities:

3. uniform groups
4. services. Activities are also organized by the Student Unions, Houses and functional groups. Students are encouraged to participate in extra-curricular activities actively to strengthen their teamwork and develop their talents and S.1 students have to join One Sport / Art Program.
Others : Diversified learning activities are conducted for students under the provision of Life-wide Learning Grant, Student Activities Support Grant, and School-based After-school Learning and Support Grant. Scholarships are awarded annually to students for their outstanding achievements.
