| Orientation Activities and Healthy Life | : | To promote healthy diet among students, teachers will teach the design of healthy dishes in home economics classes, and lunch suppliers must adhere to the nutritional standards for school lunches. Priorities have been accorded to staff development and communication with parents and other organizations to nurture a learning organization culture. School Management Committee was incorporated with representatives from parents, teachers and alumni as well as lay members. |

| (1) Whole-school Language Policy | : | Our school is committed to strengthen students' proficiency in English, Chinese and Putonghua and enable our students to be biliterate (English and Chinese) and trilingual (English, Putonghua and Cantonese) with Putonghua classes, and achieving good results in Chinese subjects. At the same time, we place special emphasis on improving students' English proficiency. The school offers a systematic approach to English learning, where students engage in a unique school-based listening training program divided into nine levels based on their proficiency. They are also required to complete daily reading comprehension training tailored to the language abilities of American students (Lexile levels). English teachers effectively integrate AI tools to provide extensive writing training, in-depth corrections, and improvement suggestions. Students use smart English tools daily to learn vocabulary, enabling them to effectively master a significant amount of vocabulary and help them achieve their desired results in public examinations. We implement "Extended English Teaching Activities" both inside and outside the school, allowing students to encounter and use English in various contexts. On-campus activities include publishing an English journal, conducting English interviews and editorial work, and holding Thursday English morning assemblies. Off-campus activities vary and include outdoor field trips, visits, and special studies. Each year, we organize overseas English experience trips to countries like Australia, and Thailand, where students stay with local families and attend classes with local students. We collaborate with non-language subject teachers, such as music and computer studies, to provide enrichment courses in English and facilitate registration for international English and Mandarin examinations for professional qualifications. Additionally, systematic learning of the Chinese Language enhances our students' abilities in listening, reading, writing, and speaking. |
| (2) Learning and Teaching Strategies | : | The school emphasizes cultivating students' multiple intelligences and comprehensive development in moral, intellectual, physical, social, and aesthetic areas. We promote self-directed and cooperative learning, utilizing advanced information technology and multimedia facilities. Extensive after-school support is provided for Chinese, English, and Mathematics. We ensure students develop regular learning habits through electronic platforms that track progress beyond class hours. Our "Learning Through Reading" programs, such as the eRead Scheme and More You Read, the More Rewards, encourage reading participation. Additionally, the reading group conducts cross-curricular and thematic reading sessions to strengthen independent learning skills. |
| (3) School-based Curriculum | : | 1. Electives: 3X. Electives learning areas have 200 combinations. 2. Curriculum highlights: The school places great importance on nurturing its students personal development and confidence with technology. This is done by offering a variety of resources such as the Human Performance Laboratory which is the first of its kind in Hong Kong. This laboratory is to test human body's fitness by adopting scientific methods. Students can evaluate their health conditions by the way of doing experiments and collecting data through the facilities in the laboratory. Indeed, it helps to develop the abilities of those students who are interested in Physical Education. |
| (4) Major Renewed Emphases in the School Curriculum | : | Reading to Learn: Regular reading is encouraged through provision of fiction and non fiction reading material in the library and the classroom. Quiet reading sessions are held at the beginning of every school days. Reading activities such as Read-to Win, Meet the Author and Teacher Picks promote positive attitudes to reading. Information Technology for Interactive Learning: The school's computer network is available as a communication tool between teachers and students. The school is currently using the intranet and internet services to develop and trail a range of effective e-learning services. Project learning: The school promotes "project learning activities" to encourage independent learning. Moral and Civic education: Moral and civic education is promoted throughout the school curriculum, with particular emphasis on the Junior forms CES and senior forms CS courses. A flag raising ceremony is conducted every week to enhance students' sense of national identity. Senior secondary education Offers four gifted education programmes, two inter-school courses for Senior secondary education and three applied learning courses will continue to be offered, including Fashion Image Design, Film and Multimedia, and Interior and Exhibition Design. |

| (1) Whole School Approach to Catering for Learner Diversity | : | Students are looked after through whole school approach with more attention in class. Students are supported by a well-trained Guidance and Discipline Team. Small group tutorial teaching is arranged for less academic-oriented students during and after school hours. |
| (2) Whole School Approach to Integrated Education | : | Our school adopts a Whole School Approach to Integrated Education, led by the Student Support Team and the Special Educational Needs Coordinator. The professional support team includes three special educational needs support teachers, an educational psychologist, a speech therapist, three student counsellors, and eight resource teachers. Over 80% of our teaching staff has completed professional development in supporting students with special educational needs, enabling us to implement a 3-tier support model that provides tailored teaching strategies for students with persistent learning difficulties. We utilize various grants, including the Learning Support Grant and the Grant for Supporting Non-Chinese Speaking Students with Special Educational Needs, alongside programs like the Student Mental Health Support Scheme and Project Bridge. This collaborative effort with parents fosters an inclusive culture that addresses our students' diverse learning needs. We also provide tools such as computers with screen reading, speech-to-text functions, and portable video magnifiers for visually impaired students. |
