Secondary One Admission : Our school will accept discretionary places. Our school will participate in the Secondary School Places Allocation System through central allocation stage (Applicable for admission to S.1 in September 2025 ).Academic Result 40%, Interview 40%, Conduct & comments 10%, Non-academic Performance 10%.
Orientation Activities and Healthy Life : English bridging courses, orientation programs and learning activities are organized for S.1 students. Our school promotes healthy lifestyle through a variety of activities.

School Management

(2) School Management Organisation : School-based management is implemented.
(3) Incorporated Management Committee / School Management Committee / Management Committee : The Incorporated Management Committee is comprised of 15 professionals.
(4) School Green Policy : The policy is carried out through formal and informal curriculum. A waste recycling corner with recycling bins was set up to encourage students to recycle.
Learning and Teaching Plan
(1) Whole-school Language Policy : To help raise the standard of Chinese and English of our students, Chinese is taught in Mandarin in some junior form classes and an English-rich environment is created with a variety of English activities, for example, study tours, English Drama Competition, South China Morning Post Experiential Course, Drama in English lessons, Phonics classes, Book Talk, Book Fair, Reading Awards and Speech Festival.
(2) Learning and Teaching Strategies : 1. Our school believes in positive discipline which emphasizes student-centred learning in order to foster a positive learning atmosphere which facilitates students to pursue excellence.
2. Experiential learning is adopted to provide students opportunities to apply their knowledge and skills to their daily lives.
3. Inquiry-based cross-curricular learning is implemented to enhance students' creativity, communication, collaboration and problem-solving skills, inquiry-based cross-curricular learning is adopted.
(3) School-based Curriculum : 1. Electives: 3X. Students can take 2 or 3 out of 11 elective subjects.
2. Curriculum highlights:
a) Language Across the Curriculum is implemented in the junior forms. The curriculum connects authentic topics to various Key Learning Areas. Life-wide learning is integrated into the curriculum to help students consolidate what they have learnt and enhance their English language skills.
b) LKWhy/Kwun Tong is implemented in junior forms. The approach of inquiry-based cross-curricular learning with design thinking is adopted to enhance students' creativity, communication, collaboration and problem-solving skills as well as foster empathy in students and promote community service through excursions, interviews and group presentations.
c) School-based Aesthetic Development Course is implemented in S.4 to provide students' opportunities to experience local cultures and arts, understand more about various forms of artwork and explore the values of life.
(4) Major Renewed Emphases in the School Curriculum : a) Values Education: Students' positive learning attitude and values are developed based on core values of Christianity through formal and informal curriculum. Apart from lessons, various activities are held such as morning assemblies, weekly assemblies, class teachers' periods, voluntary service and leadership training.
b) Diversifying learning experiences: Project learning in various subjects, Language Across the Curriculum, English experiential course, STEAM and school-based curriculum are implemented to consolidate what students have learnt, foster their creativity, collaboration, problem-solving, communication and IT skills. Students' vision is widened and self-directed learning is facilitated.
c) Reading to learn: All committees help promote reading in school. Regular reading sessions are arranged. Other activities including book fairs, reading club and book crossing are organized to encourage students to read. Different reading sources are provided and e-books are well promoted to cultivate students' reading habits.
d) E-learning: Ample online learning resources including e-learning platforms are provided for students' interactive and collaborative learning to enhance their self-directed learning.
(5) Life Planning Education : It aims at helping students understand their interests and strengths, and providing career education, e.g., goal setting, life planning, disseminating important career information and developing an awareness of the world of work and workers.
Thus, students are able to make career decisions in accordance to their interests, abilities and orientations. It helps prepare students for actualizing their individuals’ potential through the pursuit of their personal or career goals.
Student Support
(1) Whole School Approach to Catering for Learner Diversity : 1) S.1 - S.3 classes are divided into split groups for their Chinese and English learning.
2) S.1 orientation programs and LKY Buddies are organized to help new student adapt to a new learning environment and provide senior form students with opportunities to look after junior ones.
3) Leadership training programs are organized for junior form students and Outstanding Student Leaders' Program is held to cultivate student leadership for our society.
4) Gifted students are invited to participate in different courses and competitions particularly from The Hong Kong Academy for Gifted Education to develop their unique potentials.
(2) Whole School Approach to Integrated Education : A whole school approach is adopted to cater for the needs of all students. The SEN team was set up to formulate strategies and measures, communicate and collaborate with specialists and parents, to provide the most appropriate support for students.
(4) Measures to Provide Adaptation for Learning and Assessment : Diverse assessment tools are used. Both formative and summative assessments, such as class participation, assignments, oral presentations, projects, tests and examinations, are conducted to provide students with proper feedback and facilitate the effectiveness of teaching and learning.
Home-School Co-operation and School Ethos
(1) Home-School Co-operation : The Parent-Teacher Association supports home-school co-operation by supervising commercial activities conducted within the school campus. The PTA sets up reading prizes for students and organizes workshops and activities for parents.
(2) School Ethos : Our school has a good culture in students' discipline. We aim to nurture the talent and personality of each student through activities of different committees.
Future Development
(1) School Development Plan : To enhance the effectiveness of strategies and plans that address major concerns with the support services provided by EDB and The Hong Kong Polytechnic University through Professional Development Programmes.
(2) Teacher Professional Training and Development : Teachers are pro-active in participating in various kinds of professional training activities, for example, e-learning, use of AI in teaching, open lessons, professional exchange with schools from foreign countries, Mainland China and Hong Kong, to further their professional capabilities.
Life-wide Learning (Including Five Essential Learning Experiences to be Provided through Key Learning Areas, Extra-curricular Activities, Co-curricular Activities, etc.) : There are 47 clubs for students to choose from. School picnic/Activity Day, Sports Days, variety show, study tours, local performances and competitions, experiential learning, community service and leadership training activities are organized.
Others : Our school provides scholarships and subsidies for students to promote active learning and striving for excellence. Every year, study tours or exchange programs are held to boost students' language proficiency, enhance their generic skills and broaden their horizons. In the academic year of 2023/24, our students participated in various local activities and competitions, for example, 2024 Parade for Celebration of the Year of the Dragon, Year of Dragon Kwun Tong Night Bazaar Performance Shows, Year of Dragon Kwun Tong Night Bazaar Performance Shows, Organic Day 2024 - Rope Skipping Performance and Inter-Primary Schools Pickleball Competition to widen students' vision.

Remarks : Four classes of each senior form are divided into five groups to better cater for learner diversity. Four classes of each junior form are divided into five groups in Chinese and English lessons to help students better build the foundation. School organizes OLE activities for all S.4 and S.5 students.
