Orientation Activities and Healthy Life	:	In order to assist freshmen in adapting to the new school environment, the school organizes a number of orientation activities in summer, such as Induction Programme, Bridging Programme, Parents' Information Day and Treasure Hunt Camp. The psychologist from the Catholic Diocese of Hong Kong, and four school social workers or counsellors will share their experiences to students and parents. In order to establish a healthy campus atmosphere, enforcing rules on infectious diseases, prevention and emergency response guidelines, school provides knowledge and implement best practice about hygiene education, and focuses on student's healthy diet, nutrition, and exercise routine.

School Management
(1)School's Major Concerns	:	To promote all-round self-directed learning, and demonstrate students ability and achievements to enhance learning efficacy. To cultivate positive values, encourage life planning and prepare to contribute to country and society. To strengthen our teacher leadership community and establish professional learning communities to support the education profession.
(2) School Management Organisation	:	The Incorporated Management Committee are composed by school manager, supervisor and principal. Teacher manager and substantial teacher manager are elected by all teachers with two years term of service. Parent manager and substantial parent manager are elected by Parent-teacher association with two years term of service. Alumni manager will be elected by alumni association with two years term of service.
(3) Incorporated Management Committee / School Management Committee / Management Committee	:	The Incorporated Management Committee is composed of school manager, supervisor and principal. The committee convenes at least three meetings per year, in order to set educational objectives, maintain management on school's financial plannings and human resources. It also verifies and approves budget proposals submitted by the principal and the transfer and promotion of staff members.
(4) School Green Policy	:	Each class will elect their Environmental Ambassador by class teacher at the start of semester. Environmental Ambassadors are responsible for classroom tidiness, reminding students be on duty, turning off lights and air conditioners before leaving the classroom, in order to fulfill the concepts of energy saving and recycling.
Learning and Teaching Plan
(1) Whole-school Language Policy	:	The School strives to improve student's English proficiency by appointing foreign teachers to enhance the English speaking ability of junior high school students. There are enrichment programs, provided for student according to their level of language. As reading habits are significantly related to language abilities, the school arranges a number of activities to create reading environments. In the classes of students with higher learning abilities in English, selected topics from Mathematics and Science subjects are conducted in English (not more than 25% of total lesson time).In normal classes, we dedicate up to 10% of total lesson time to extended learning activities in English (revision of some topics using English).
(2) Learning and Teaching Strategies	:	Focusing on the needs of students, establishing clear learning goals, objectives and priorities, by interactive teaching methods, effective teaching strategies, and inspire student's potential by providing feedback to students through assessments. The school provides M1 Mathematics Extended Part curriculum, with appropriate assessments and electronic materials. The school also focus on broaden students' cognitive level, implementation of interdisciplinary projects. With reading promotion plan, develop strategies, implementation and evaluation to create a reading atmosphere. Design STEAMS Project learning portfolio in curriculum, to raise students' potential in self-directed learning and learning effectiveness.
(3) School-based Curriculum	:	1. Electives: 2X and 3X. Biology, Physics, History, Visual Arts, Chinese History, Chemistry, Geography, Business, Accounting and Financial Studies, Ethics and Religious Studies, Information and Communication Technology, Mathematics (Extended Part), Applied Learning 2. Curriculum highlights: School divided teaching groups in each forms of Chinese Language, English Language and Mathematics, which cater for different learning needs of student. School arrange Integrated Learning period for each classes of last period, which proceed academic issues such as homework guidance, enhancement classes etc, extra-curricular activities and mass lecture will arrange on Wednesday.
(4) Major Renewed Emphases in the School Curriculum	:	1. Through library, online databases and school resources to carry out a variety of reading activities systematically, to broaden the depth and breadth of students' reading. Extending “Reading to Learn” to “Language across the Curriculum”. 2. The use of information technology for interactive learning, students can simply log in to the Google Classroom, in order to download assessment or subjects notes. The school contains four computer laps with sufficient amount of devices and tablets for student's efficient learning. 3. Perform positive development of project-based learning outside of the classrooms. Design STEAMS Project learning portfolio in curriculum, to raise students' potential in self-directed learning and learning effectiveness. Promoting STEAM education and information technology in education; fostering an entrepreneurial spirit. 4. Moral and Civic Education: Strengthening values education (covering cross-curricular domains such as moral education, civic education, national education (including Constitution, Basic Law and national security education), anti-drug education, life education, sex education, media and information literacy education, reinforcing the learning of Chinese history and Chinese culture. 5.Diversifying life-wide learning experiences, including those for vocational and professional education and training.
(5) Life Planning Education	:	Encourage students to seek further education or employment pathways, and assist them on decision in future career. Counseling, assistance and follow-up are provided to needy students accordingly, together with their prescribed path to achieve their goals. Focusing on the enrolment application process and individual student learning matters overview (SLP) issues. Follow-ups includes: results collections, arrangement of elective subjects instructors and selection of subject related seminars and activities to S.3 and S.6 students, career and life planning day as well.
Student Support
(1) Whole School Approach to Catering for Learner Diversity	:	The school divided teaching groups in each forms of Chinese Language, English Language and Mathematics, which cater for different learning needs of students. School arranges Integrated Learning period for each classes of last period, which proceed academic issues such as homework guidance, enhancement classes etc, extra-curricular activities and mass lecture will arrange on Wednesday. The school has established a number of awards at all levels, to encourage outstanding students to maintain their learning progress and improve their academic performance. The school also provides remedial classes and after school tutorial classes.
(2) Whole School Approach to Integrated Education	:	Our Student Support Team consists of a SEN coordinator, SEN support teacher, an educational psychologist, teachers, school social workers and teaching assistants. Schools will use "Learning Support Grant" & "Grant for Supporting Non-Chinese Speaking Students with Special Educational Needs". We have adopted the whole-school approach. Teachers, parents and students are well supported in the hope of developing a respectful and cooperative school environment. Students with any special educational needs, such as learning difficulties, emotional problems and physical disabilities, will be provided with guidance and learning support. This includes helping students to adapt to new school environment and curriculum, special arrangements for curriculum, school assessments and peer support. To support "Parents as Partners", parents of SEN students are invited to set the learning goals with the teachers. With a view to raise the awareness of life planning for those SEN students, different programmes are organized to help them discover their interests and develop their career paths. Our peer counselling scheme allows students to understand different emotions and the problems related to emotional changes.
(3) Education Support for Non-Chinese Speaking (NCS) Students	:	Our school provides additional support for NCS students to facilitate their learning of Chinese: providing after-school support programmes in learning Chinese; appointing additional teacher(s)/teaching assistant(s) to support NCS students’ learning of Chinese; organising activities to create an inclusive learning environment in the school; and hiring additional manpower and/or translation/interpretation services to facilitate the communication with parents. Home-School Co-operation and School Ethos
(1) Home-School Co-operation	:	The school has established a home-School Co-operation. The main objectives are to promote and encourage home-school co-operation, strengthen the association between families and the school, publicize innovative workshops, seminars and conference for parents, develop publicity materials, gaining positive attitude towards the co-operation, and more importantly to enhance students' and parents' education.
(2) School Ethos	:	1. School develop Discipline Team, Counselling Team and Student Support Team. Through incentive schemes, the school encourages students to achieve discipline and academic result, and together creating the positive school spirit. 2. In order to establish student's autonomy, the school insist on each student should participates in one role. These roles are responsible on classroom management, assisting class teachers and subject teachers, daily communications, class services etc. 3. School performs discipline and guidance co-operative mode, with a whole-school approach to support students' growth.

(2) Teacher Professional Training and Development	:	1. Co-ordinate and assist new recruited substitute and intern teachers to adapt school's teaching and learning environment. Seminars, sharing sessions and co-planning sessions are organized to assist them in module/lesson planning, questioning techniques and classroom management skills. 2. Professional teacher development programs are provided to all teachers to encourage collaborative teaching and peer observation in school. Channels are provided for colleagues to share and exchange their teaching experiences in order to enhance their teaching effectiveness. 3. Promotes professionalism through staff professional development activities, including three teacher professional training day per year.
Life-wide Learning (Including Five Essential Learning Experiences to be Provided through Key Learning Areas, Extra-curricular Activities, Co-curricular Activities, etc.)	:	In addition, the school has established a total of more than 50 activity groups accordingly to students 'different interests'.
