Secondary One Admission : Our school will accept discretionary places. Our school will participate in the Secondary School Places Allocation System through central allocation stage (Applicable for admission to S.1 in September 2025 ).1. Academic Results and Position in the Rank Order List provided by EDB (50%); 2. Interview (30%); 3. Services and Extracurricular Activities(10%); 4. Conduct (10%).
Orientation Activities and Healthy Life : To assist new students in adapting to campus life, our school has a series of orientation activities to help students and their parents familiarize themselves with the campus environment and culture. These activities include Form 1 Orientation Day, Form 1 School-based Summer Bridging Programme, Form 1 Parent Orientation Day, Form 1 Growth Camp, and various adaptation programs.

Our Campus Health Policies, in line with sports development, aim to help students cultivate healthy lifestyle habits, establish positive attitudes and values, acquire practical life skills, and to develop resilience.

Specific measures include adopting a school-based Life Values Education Curriculum, establishing a Student Award Scheme, providing healthy and nutritious lunches, organizing ‘Joyful Fruit Month’, implementing a School Physical Fitness Award Scheme, organizing Campus Mental Health Day, arranging vaccinations for seasonal influenza on campus, organizing a variety of extracurricular activities, holding anti-drug seminars, conducting sex education workshops, and adopting a comprehensive referral mechanism.

(4) School Green Policy : We encourage our staff and students to utilize resources to create a green campus so as to enable students to practise a green living style contributing to sustainable development. Our green policies include placing recycling bins on campus, setting up energy saving guidelines, planting flowers and trees and organizing environmental protection activities.
Learning and Teaching Plan
(1) Whole-school Language Policy : English is used as the medium of instruction. For details, please refer to the subjects offered/to be offered in the 2024/2025 and 2025/2026 school years. We implement the policy of ‘bi-literacy and tri-lingualism’ through the Chinese and English Reading Award Scheme and a variety of English and Putonghua activities. From 2025/2026 school year onwards, the school will use Putonghua as the medium of instruction for teaching Chinese Language in one of our S.1 classes.
(2) Learning and Teaching Strategies : 1. We cultivate self-discipline, independent thinking and righteousness among our students.
2. An open and pleasant learning environment is provided for students to unleash their potential.
3. Our refined homework policy and ongoing feedback given to students help enhance their learning.
4. Cross-curricular learning activities are designed to cultivate students' generic skills.
(3) School-based Curriculum : 1. Electives: 3X. 11 elective subjects are offered. Subject combinations are decided according to students’ preferences and our resources.
2. Curriculum highlights:
i) School-based curriculums are implemented in STEM, Information & Communication Technology, Life Values Education, Citizenship, Economics and Society, Life & Society and Reading lessons in junior forms.
ii) There is no streaming in junior forms. We place emphasis on peer learning and mutual progress.
iii) Students with various potentials are encouraged to join gifted programmes inside and outside school, and to take international assessments. After-school tutorial classes & study groups are also offered to students who need more support.
iv) Various OLE activities are arranged according to students' needs & interests on Other Learning Experience (OLE) days.
(4) Major Renewed Emphases in the School Curriculum : 1. Learning and Teaching: We aim at helping students cultivate a self-directed learning habit, develop their problem-solving skills and focus on their knowledge application and creativity.
2. STEM Education: STEM education including elements of Artificial Intelligence enables students to integrate and apply knowledge. Students will acquire generic skills through Science, Maths and IT.
3. Reading: We have Reading lessons to promote students' interest in reading & broaden their horizons.
4. We are dedicated to educating our students to become good citizens with a good sense of responsibility and knowledge. Other than everyday lessons, there are values education programmes, school-based "Life Values Education Curriculum", class periods, morning and weekly assemblies, flag raising ceremonies & speeches under the national flag, "Other Learning Experiences", Career and Life Planning Programmes, various volunteer training, community services and other activities aiming at helping students better understand themselves, cultivating their virtues of serving the community, strengthening students' sense of national identity, enhancing their civic awareness and creating opportunities for them to experience the joy of helping others.
(5) Life Planning Education : Our school provides our students with a comprehensive plan for life education. Life values education allows students to have a better understanding of themselves and society. Activities held by uniform groups and clubs help students learn to discipline themselves and develop different skills. Leadership training aiming at promoting teamwork and helping students develop their potential by challenging themselves is provided. Visits to universities and workplace experience programmes allowing students to know more about their study and career paths are arranged. With the help of our alumni through our ‘Alumni Sharing Day’ and ‘Alumni Mentorship Programme’ this year, students are also given opportunities to learn from their predecessors and set goals. Parent education programmes enhance home-school cooperation, strengthening the support for our students.
Student Support
(1) Whole School Approach to Catering for Learner Diversity : 1. Our school provides scholarships to students with outstanding academic achievements and students showing improvement.
2. There is no streaming in junior forms. We place emphasis on peer learning and mutual progress.
3. Each subject has their strategies in class and after class to address learner diversity.
4. Study rooms operate until 7:30 p.m., which allows students to have self-study and group discussion.
5. With the ‘Big Brothers and Big Sisters Programme’, counselling prefects from higher forms with good academic performance and conduct help take care of junior form students.
6. Our school also promotes various activities and programs, including the ‘Strive and Rise Programme’, which pairs students with mentors to broaden their horizons, enhance their confidence, cultivate a positive attitude, and unleash their talents and potentials.
(2) Whole School Approach to Integrated Education : Our school strives to provide integrated education and promote an inclusive school culture. The Student Support Team aims to implement a comprehensive school policy on effectively catering for the needs of students with special educational needs. The team members include a Special Educational Needs Coordinator, SEN Support Teachers, an SEN Counselor, Social Workers, an Education Psychologist, a Clinical Psychologist and a Speech Therapist. Our school Student Support Team devises school-based student support plans, and flexibly uses the Learning Support Grant to recruit additional manpower and professional services to support students with special educational needs.
(3) Education Support for Non-Chinese Speaking (NCS) Students : Our school provides additional support for NCS students to facilitate their learning of Chinese: appointing additional teacher(s)/teaching assistant(s) to support NCS students’ learning of Chinese; arranging intensive Chinese learning and teaching mode(s), e.g. pull-out learning if necessary, split-class/group learning, etc.; developing school-based Chinese Language curriculum and/or adapting learning and teaching materials; and organising activities to create an inclusive learning environment in the school.
(4) Measures to Provide Adaptation for Learning and Assessment : In addition to a test and an examination in each semester, there are daily assignments, quizzes and projects in various subjects as our formative assessment. We also offer special test and examination arrangements for students with special learning needs.
Home-School Co-operation and School Ethos
(1) Home-School Co-operation : We believe that quality home-school co-operation is essential to educating and bringing up students effectively. We regularly hold Parents' Days and other forms of meetings to enhance home-school communication. Teachers keep in contact with parents or meet them at school to foster home-school cooperation. Our Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) is the bridge for home-school communication. PTA organizes the Annual General Meeting, Annual Dinner, Chinese New Year Food Workshop, Cooking Competition, Parent Tea Gatherings for All Levels, Parent Education Book Loan Service, Parent-child Picnic with teachers, and Voluntary Service, etc. This year, we develop and implement school-based parent education programmes according to the new guidelines of the Education Bureau.
(2) School Ethos : We uphold a positive school ethos, and students are self-disciplined. Counselling prefects in our school provide extra support to junior form students. Life values education lessons and class teacher periods in our formal curriculum nurture our students to embrace the qualities of respect, perseverance, responsibility and commitment.

(2) Teacher Professional Training and Development : 1. In response to the recent teaching initiatives of the Education Bureau, our school utilizes staff development days to enhance training for teachers in values education, national security education, e-learning, and other areas.
2. In addition to staff development days, our school encourages subject departments to engage in academic exchanges, peer assignment and lesson observation, and participate in external training courses.
3. We also arrange an induction and mentorship programme for new teachers to help them adapt to their new teaching life as soon as possible.
4. The school also provides training allowances for teachers to apply for, encouraging them to continue their professional development.
Life-wide Learning (Including Five Essential Learning Experiences to be Provided through Key Learning Areas, Extra-curricular Activities, Co-curricular Activities, etc.) : Our school encourages students to actively participate in extracurricular activities to invigorate their body and mind and reinforce team spirit and cooperation. Our school’s annual activities include the school picnic, Athletic Meet, Aquatic Meet, Christmas Party and post-exam activities. Besides, the Student Union organizes different inter-house and club activities. There are 51 groups related to sports, hobbies, academic fields, moral values and services.
