Secondary One Admission : Our school will accept discretionary places. Our school will participate in the Secondary School Places Allocation System through central allocation stage (Applicable for admission to S.1 in September 2025 ).Applicants and their parents should recognise our school philosophy. Our school will take the applicants’ academic performance in P.5 and P.6 conduct, participation in extra-curricular activities and performance in interviews into consideration for admission to F. 1. The details are as follows: 1. Academic performance and conduct: 50% 2. Extra-curricular activities and non-academic performance: 20% 3. Interview: 30% Priority will be given to applicants with special skills and talents.
Orientation Activities and Healthy Life : Our orientation programmes aim to lay a solid foundation for students regarding their studies in the years to come. Through F.1 English Summer Courses, F.1 Orientation Day and F.1 Bridging Course, together with F.1 Life Camp, we aim at fostering students' development, cultivating a sense of belonging among students and parents' better understanding of our school.
The physical, mental and spiritual well-being of our students are our key concern. We put emphasis on the six aspects of developments of our students. We have arranged all F.1 and F.2 students to have class periods, which are hold by two class teachers. We also have life education, 'Dream Set Sail' programme and Alpha Course, we cultivate positive culture, educate students with positive values, and assist students to understand their own needs, we have the vision of leading students to live a healthy and balanced life.

(1)School's Major Concerns : Enhance learning interest and show potential.

Reinforce a positive culture and enhance school satisfaction. Support students in their moral, intellectual, physical, communal, aesthetic, spiritual development and career planning. Improve academic performance and foster positive learning attitude.
(2) School Management Organisation : Incorporated Management Committee (IMC) of the school is the highest management and decision-making committee. The principal co-ordinates all the administrative work within the school context, with vice-principals and various department heads assist in handling school issues.
(3) Incorporated Management Committee / School Management Committee / Management Committee : The Incorporated Management Committee is made up of experts from the religion, education, social welfare, engineering and commercial sectors. There are members representing our teachers, parents as well as the alumni. The Incorporated Management Committee plays an active role in school administration. In addition to monitoring the management of the school, its sub-committees give support to us in accomplishing various tasks.
(4) School Green Policy : The school has established the Environmental Protection Club and incorporated environmental protection education into the school curriculum.
Learning and Teaching Plan
(1) Whole-school Language Policy : Besides the use of learners' first language, Cantonese, in the classroom, students are encouraged to develop their English skills. Our school has two native English-speaking teachers, who are responsible for conducting activities in the English World. The English department offers students English Tutorial Class, English Writing Class, English Musical Class, English Bazaar and English Day Camp. The Chinese department also provides Chinese Tutorial Class and Chinese Writing Class. Reading Scheme is implemented in both Chinese and English. Verse Speaking Contests and Debates are also organised. We welcome students to participate in Speech Festivals. We have Putonghua lessons for junior form students to enable students to master the language.
(2) Learning and Teaching Strategies : Much teaching has been conducted using Information Technology. Self-motivated lessons and STEAM education are well developed. School-based curriculum development, which encourages teacher-student and student-student interaction, and project learning are the key elements of all subjects. A wide variety of activities like visits and study tours are organized. Students are encouraged to read extensively and participate in inter-school academic activities. We offer a wide range of subjects for students. Manpower is delegated to implement small class teaching, organising enrichment and enhancement tutorial. Through co-planning of lesson, Doing Assignments Together, F.1 and F.2 Homework Policy, Pre-exam revision week, after school tutorial classes, summer classes and weekend tutorial classes, we enhance students' effectiveness in learning.
(3) School-based Curriculum : 1. Electives: 2X. Business Management, Accounting and Financial Studies, Economics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, History, Chinese History, Geography, Health Management and Social Care, Information and Communication Technology, Tourism and Hospitality, Visual Arts, Physical Education, Applied Learning, Foreign language courses (Japanese, French and Spanish).
2. Curriculum highlights: To cater for students' learning diversities, school-based curriculum is adopted in Chinese, English, Mathematics, Life and Society and Life Education. Teaching materials and worksheets are tailor-made. To develop students' generic skills, enquiry learning is employed in various subjects. Through collaborative learning and project learning, the lessons have become interactive. Various extra-curricular activities are organized to enrich students’ other learning experiences, including talks, dramas, English bazaar, competitions, study tours, etc.
In order to develop students' personal potential and interests through different experiences, we provide Other Learning Experience, including Physical Education, Music, Local Cultural Exploration and Social Services.
(4) Major Renewed Emphases in the School Curriculum : 1. Reading to learn: Through reading programmes, morning reading sessions and enhancing library services, students develop a good reading habit.
2. Information Technology: Interactive Smart Whiteboards are installed in all classrooms to encourage E-learning and enhance students' motivation.
3. Project learning: Our school-based curriculum has given students opportunities to enhance project skills and show their learning outcome.
4. Moral and Civic Education: The school holds a variety of activities every year to enhance students' citizenship and sense of national identity. Our diversified volunteering scheme enables students to develop a serving heart.
(5) Life Planning Education : Our school places great emphasis on students' career planning, aiming to help students discover their strengths and understand their advantages and weaknesses starting from Secondary One. We establish an annual theme for career planning for each form to help students find their direction. The career planning activities are conducted in a "whole-school participation" model, allowing not only teachers and students but also staff, parents, and alumni to act as mentors for the students. Career planning activities for junior secondary students are integrated into class teacher sessions, making them a regular classroom activity. We also invite experts to assist students through activities. Our school understand that students need to equip themselves to face future challenges in further education or employment. Therefore, our school collaborates with various external organizations to guide senior secondary students out of the campus to learn about the latest news and developments in universities and different industries, enabling them to stay tuned with the current trends in further education and employment so as to better plan for their future life.
Student Support
(1) Whole School Approach to Catering for Learner Diversity : We nurture our students to take care of classmates with special educational needs. Teachers are equipped with professional knowledge to cater for learner diversity. Our school employs additional teachers and works with various service providers to provide tailor-made programmes and services for students with special educational needs. We also have social workers, educational psychologist, Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator, Special Educational Needs Support Teachers and a team of counsellors to cater for students' diverse needs. Students who have physical needs can have access to the lift in school.
(2) Whole School Approach to Integrated Education : Our school is committed to creating an inclusive and caring campus to support the students with SEN using the Whole School Approach. We have set up a Student Support Team (SST) to plan, implement and review student support services. The SST consists of the vice principal, Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator, Special Educational Needs Support Teachers, counsellors, social workers and educational psychologist. The SST formulates appropriate guidelines and procedures to ensure that subject teachers concerned are informed about the suggested support measures for the students so that they can understand students' development. Meanwhile, teachers are encouraged to take special education courses to develop professional skills to cater for students with special education needs. To help cater for learner diversity, we design Individual Education Plans (IEPs). In the course of planning, implementing and reviewing the support measures, we communicate and collaborate with parents, so as to provide the most appropriate support for the students. Learning Support Grant (LSG) is used to provide more comprehensive services for the students with SEN such as occupational therapy, speech therapy and clinical psychological service etc. Our school provides Learning Support Class, support programmes and assistive facilities according to students' abilities and needs, so that they can learn in the least restrictive environment. For non-Chinese students with special educational needs, NCS-SEN Grant is utilized to cater for them.
(3) Education Support for Non-Chinese Speaking (NCS) Students : Our school provides additional support for NCS students to facilitate their learning of Chinese: providing after-school support programmes in learning Chinese; appointing additional teacher(s)/teaching assistant(s) to support NCS students’ learning of Chinese; arranging intensive Chinese learning and teaching mode(s), e.g. pull-out learning if necessary, split-class/group learning, etc.; developing school-based Chinese Language curriculum and/or adapting learning and teaching materials; and organising activities to create an inclusive learning environment in the school. NCS students are arranged to sit for public examinations to acquire different Chinese language qualifications.
(4) Measures to Provide Adaptation for Learning and Assessment : 2 examinations and 1 subject test are held every year as both formative and summative assessment for students. We assess students' academic performance via school-based assessment, students' assignments, project learning as well as students' performance in class. To cater for students' different learning needs, school-based worksheets are designed and special examination arrangements are made in accordance with students’ individual needs, such as time adjustment, special examination venue and providing screen readers.
Home-School Co-operation and School Ethos
(1) Home-School Co-operation : Our Parent-teacher Association (PTA) was established in 2000. Every year, PTA organises a wide range of activities for parents, teachers and students. Parents actively participate in our school activities, PTA activities and Parent-School activities. Parents generally support, trust and appreciate the work of the school. There are parent representatives in the School Management Committee, the Trading Operations Supervision Committee and Tendering Committee. The home-school co-operation facilitates the long-term development of our school.
(2) School Ethos : Our school aims at cultivating students' self-discipline, respect and care for others. We put great emphasis on students' behaviour and attitudes both within and outside school, providing a comprehensive award-punishment system for students to observe, learn to respect others and self-respect at the same time. Through moral, religious and life education, we aim at better and whole person development of our students, programmes and activities include: S.1 Gospel Camp, Religious Camp for junior form students, Christian Fellowship, S.1 Adaptation Programme, Life-wide Learning Camp, S. 6 Graduation Camp and Farewell for graduates, Class Building Scheme, Wellbeing-First School Scheme and Co-class teachers system. Different counselling programmes are organised for various forms to take care of students' mental health. is implemented in various forms to provide extra care for students. The Whole school approach fosters a caring, supportive school culture for the students to learn to be disciplined, care for others. With the efforts of teachers and students, we have been awarded for years the Caring School Award by Hong Kong Christian Service, the Teacher-Student Connection Award in the Hi-Five Student Engagement Award Scheme.
Future Development
(1) School Development Plan : 2022-2025 3-year development plan

1. To strengthen the school team and foster on-going professional development for teachers;
2. To develop diversified teaching, and enhance e-Learning;
3. To build mutual care and self-discipline, and deepen positive mindset.
(2) Teacher Professional Training and Development : The Staff Development Team at our school launches a number of Staff Development Days and IT Development Programmes each year. In addition, allowances are available for teachers to encourage them to pursue further studies.
Life-wide Learning (Including Five Essential Learning Experiences to be Provided through Key Learning Areas, Extra-curricular Activities, Co-curricular Activities, etc.) : More than 60 extra-curricular activities are offered to our students, including student bodies (Students’ Union, the Four Houses, Physical Education Committee) and uniform teams (Auxiliary Medical Service, Flag Raising Team). The school also offers a wide range of academic clubs and interest groups including music groups (choir, philharmonic, Zheng), religious teams (Christian Fellowship, Alpha Course), sports teams (swimming, athletics, canoeing, cheerleading, triathlon, basketball, football, volleyball, handball, table tennis, badminton, bowling etc.), Korean Dance Team, Chinese Dance Team, Shooting Team, Rope-skipping Team, Darts Team, Arts activities, Photography Club, Drama Club, Stage Makeup Team, Foreign Languages Group, Gardening Group and Chess Group. This year, new school clubs include Fitness Club and Aviation Club etc.

Each year, our school organises study tours and leadership training workshops such as outbound training for students. We also encourage students to take part in voluntary work such as the Elder Academy to serve the local elderly.
Others : The rationale of our school: every student is loved by God and blessed with various gifts by God. Therefore, we respect each student and assist them in bringing into full play of their potential, just like our motto, ‘Each for His Best’. There are scholarships for outstanding students. Furthermore, grants are available to assist students with financial needs.

1. Outstanding Award in "Outstanding Teaching Award for Moral Education" co-organised by the Education Bureau and Winsor Education Foundation.

Remarks : English has been adopted as the medium of instruction for some topics in subjects including Maths, Home Economics and Visual Arts. The Chinese and English lessons of junior form classes as well as the Chinese, English and Maths lessons of senior form classes are restructured to enable small class teaching and better catering of diverse learning needs.
