Secondary One Admission : Our school will accept discretionary places. Our school will participate in the Secondary School Places Allocation System through central allocation stage (Applicable for admission to S.1 in September 2025 ).Admission Criteria and Weightings for S.1 Discretionary Places: 1. Interview performance 35%. 2. Academic Performance (Rank Order List provided by EDB, internal assessment of P.5 & P.6) 50%. 3. Extra-curricular activities, awards and achievements 15%. 4. Grade B or above in conduct.
Orientation Activities and Healthy Life : An Induction and Summer Bridging Programme as well as an Orientation Programme for new S.1 students and their parents are offered. Furthermore, a S.1 "So Smart" course is also provided by CCC Heep Woh Church to help new students adapt to secondary school life and learning.
Our school promotes a simple and healthy life style. We encourage students to participate in various activities to foster their whole-person development.

(2) School Management Organisation : The Incorporated Management Committee (IMC) was formed on 1st September 2011. It is agreed by the Hong Kong Council of the Church of Christ in China to be established under the Ordinance and in accordance with this Constitution.
(3) Incorporated Management Committee / School Management Committee / Management Committee : The IMC manages the School faithfully and provides education in accordance with Christian principles and the faith of the Sponsoring Body, and implements the Vision, Mission and Core Values set out in this Constitution. The School is operated in accordance with the Ordinance or any other relevant laws of Hong Kong, the relevant Code of Aid, as well as other directives of the EDB and the Sponsoring Body applicable to the School from time to time.
(4) School Green Policy : We fully support environmental protection. Besides collecting used paper for recycling, we encourage teachers as well as students to use both sides of paper and make good use of electronic documents to reduce the consumption of paper. Moreover, we hold various recycling activities, such as collecting old clothes. We observe the principle of simplicity and put it into practice in our daily life.
Learning and Teaching Plan
(1) Whole-school Language Policy : Our school adopts English as the medium of instruction in most of the subjects. To enhance students' bi-literate and tri-lingual ability, students are encouraged to speak in both Putonghua and English when making announcements or doing promotions at school.
(2) Learning and Teaching Strategies : Learning & Teaching: With due consideration of the Secondary Education Curriculum Guide (SECG), our school strategically integrates the Major Renewed Emphases (MRE) in the whole-school curriculum to better respond to the changing needs of society.
Policy on Curriculum: We always encourage all subjects to update their curricular frequently so as to meet current needs. At the same time, our teaching staff's professionalism is enhanced as well. Besides, we put much stress on the bridging between the junior and senior curriculum. S.3 Taster Programme is implemented to help our students explore their strength and interest in learning.
Promotion of Reading: Our school promotes reading through engaging activities like book fairs, morning assembly book sharing, library and subject-based reading scheme. Teachers incorporate diverse literature into the curriculum, while the library hosts author talks and book clubs. These strategies foster a vibrant reading culture, encouraging students to explore the reading world and develop a lifelong love for reading.
Assessment Policy: Our school embraces the rationale of "Assessment for Learning" to link up teaching, curriculum and assessment with better use of data to feedback.
Support Measures for Academically Gifted/under-privileged Students: Remedial classes and enhancement learning groups for Chinese language, English language and Mathematics are offered. To help students gain good results, we run tutorial and enhancement classes after school, and carry out "Subject-based Project A Scheme".
(3) School-based Curriculum : 1. Electives: History, Geography, Economics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Business, Accounting & Financial Studies, Information & Communication Technology, Health Management & Social Care, Visual Arts.
2. Curriculum highlights: With reference to the curriculum objective and assessment requirement of the Senior Secondary (SS), different strategies and pedagogies are adopted to enhance teaching and learning effectiveness.
(4) Major Renewed Emphases in the School Curriculum : 1. Reading Across Curriculum: Our school library emphasizes and promotes heavily the Reading Award Scheme. All S.1 to S.3 students are required to join the Reading Award Scheme, which aims at helping them develop a lifelong reading habit. Our school provides Reading Across Curriculum Lessons to S.1 and S.2 students to equip students with effective reading strategies and enhance language proficiency in English.
2. Interactive Learning through I.T.: Our Bring-Your-Own-Device policy launched in 2021. To help students to be active learners, they are encouraged to use various e-Learning platforms for self-directed learning. e-Learning and e-Teaching are promoted to enhance classroom interaction and to provide effective feedback in learning and teaching.
3. Project Learning: Students are equipped with the project learning skills and complete subject-based project learning to enhance their independent learning ability and generic skills. Academic Affairs Committee coordinates the arrangement of project learning in junior forms. For senior forms, the element of project learning as well as service learning are integrated in Humanistic Education.
4. Moral and Civic Education: Character building is one of our school’s main focuses, a theme with positive values is introduced by the Moral and Civic Education Team once a year. Through school assemblies, morning sharing, school-based Life Education lessons and extra-curricular activities, different virtues are cultivated. In addition, a caring and sharing culture is emphasized, community service is promoted across all levels, students can learn how to make positive contributions to the communities and serve others.
(5) Life Planning Education : Career Guidance Committee provides a series of programmes to students to help them formulate Life Planning.
For S.3, there is a Career Education Lesson for students to understand themselves so as to make suitable selection of subjects in senior forms.
For S.4-S.6, there are also Career Education Lessons for each form of students to further explore their personality and preference in their career. There are also various kinds of programmes, such as Soci-Game, Mock-release of HKDSE results, mentoring programme, interview workshop and visits, to equip them with adequate knowledge and skills to make decision in their life planning.
Student Support
(1) Whole School Approach to Catering for Learner Diversity : We have a Life Education Committee to help students deal with their emotional, communication and family problems when they grow up. A tailored syllabus and different teaching strategies are provided for diverse learning needs. We help students to find their motivation to learn, to build up their self-image, and to be positive about life. We make full use of all available resources to provide an all-round education and indicate ways to learn so that students are able to maintain life-wide learning.
(2) Whole School Approach to Integrated Education : Our school aims to create and promote an inclusive and caring environment for students to learn and grow. Student Support Team (members include SEN Coordinator and SEN teachers) is led by the school vice-principal in planning, coordinating and promoting the whole school approach and formulating school-based policy on inclusive education. In addition, through collaborating with educational psychologist, it enhances the professional support to cater students with SEN. Our school utilizes the Learning Support Grant flexibly to provide effective support (e.g. speech therapy) and organize different inclusive activities to promote caring culture in school. Moreover, our committee members contact parents regularly and provides annual student support summary to parents with an aim to suitably support students with SEN through home school co-operation.
(3) Education Support for Non-Chinese Speaking (NCS) Students : Our school provides additional support for NCS students to facilitate their learning of Chinese: appointing additional teacher(s)/teaching assistant(s) to support NCS students’ learning of Chinese; and organising activities to create an inclusive learning environment in the school.
(4) Measures to Provide Adaptation for Learning and Assessment : Our school adopts a continuous assessment policy. Other than examinations, uniform tests are scheduled for S.1 to S.6 students. Each department has its own school-based assessment policy providing fair and appropriate assessment.
Home-School Co-operation and School Ethos
(1) Home-School Co-operation : The Parents-Teachers' Association, formed in 1993, plays a crucial role in acting as a liaison between parents and the school. To support moral and life education, many parents volunteer to give assistance to the junior forms' service education.
(2) School Ethos : We strive for a simple school life with harmonious relationships between teachers and students. Students are provided with a religious education and activities to learn about Christianity and its values. Taking teachers as their models, students learn how to respect, reflect upon and appreciate their lives. This positive attitude towards life helps create a harmonious school and community.

(2) Teacher Professional Training and Development : In order to enhance teaching professionalism, teachers are provided with a variety of staff development activities such as seminars, workshops and training courses and also promoting sharing and collaboration culture to launch school based professional development programme, such as Lesson Study and various Community of Practice (CoP) by the Staff Development Committee.
Life-wide Learning (Including Five Essential Learning Experiences to be Provided through Key Learning Areas, Extra-curricular Activities, Co-curricular Activities, etc.) : Our school offers a wide variety of extra-curricular activities, such as the student association and 4 school houses. We offer more than 50 different societies, interest groups, uniform groups, social service group and sports activities to develop students' potential and interests. Apart from the activities organized by the school, students are encouraged to participate in more joint-school activities and international assessments (competition) to broaden their horizons and build their confidence. Over the years, our students have had remarkable performance in different joint-school competitions. Besides, a Life-wide Learning day is organized in every school term to let students extend learning beyond classrooms.
Others : Students demonstrate outstanding academic performance, having nurtured a DSE top scorer who achieved the best result in Hong Kong. In 2023/24, one of the graduates was admitted to the University College London. Other graduates have been accepted into university programs including medicine, law, actuarial science, medical laboratory science, radiology, and global finance. During the past summer, one of our S4 students was selected for Stanford University's medical school program and was invited to present at an international summit.
Students are multi-talented, with many becoming Hong Kong sports representatives over the years. Some hold Hong Kong athletic records. Students have also received numerous accolades in music, arts, sciences, etc.
The school's knowledge management has gained international recognition. Besides winning the Asian Most Admired Knowledge Enterprise (MAKE) Award and the Best Knowledge Culture Award, we have been honoured with the Hong Kong MAKE Award for three consecutive years. The school has pioneered a unique "Personalized Profile" system and promotes "Strengths-Based Education," consulted by a professor from Stanford University.
