Based on the teaching of the Bible and through the practice of love, we are committed to creating a learning environment filled with creativity, initiative, care and trust. | Secondary One Admission | : | Our school will not participate in the Secondary School Places Allocation System through central allocation stage (Applicable for admission to S.1 in September 2025 ).We admit our own students. Our S.1 intake will be opened for application in mid-October 2024. Admission criteria: academic result 50%, conduct 20%, interview 20%, parent support 10%. |
| Orientation Activities and Healthy Life | : | We are committed to assist primary school students, especially those from Chinese primary schools to adapt to subjects using English as the medium of instruction. This includes: 1. Bridging Programme: All S.1 students will attend a Bridging Programme for two weeks during the summer holidays. Following exactly the regular school schedules, students will attend the morning assembly, classes and daily after-school review. Awards will also be given to students with the best performance in class. 2. An English language learning environment: The content of the Bridging Programme includes brief introduction of different subjects and learning skills. Assembly and class activities are conducted in English. 3. Parents' Orientation: The School provides a special orientation meeting for the parents of our S.1 students. In the meeting, parents will be informed of the S.1 curriculum and the ways how they can collaborate with the school to maximize student learning. |

| (1) Whole-school Language Policy | : | English is used as the teaching medium (EMI) and students are streamed according to their English proficiency. For junior secondary English classes, smaller class size of twenty-two ensures that teachers can cater to the specific needs of individual students. |

Strive for excellence in learning: We adopt modern pedagogical strategies such as "Sharestart" and "Positive Discipline" to facilitate students’ self-directed learning in order to pursue excellent academic achievement; 2. Whole person development: we nurture students to be humble servant leaders and promote inclusive culture. 3. Develop global perspectives: Through admitting non-Chinese speaking students and exchange students from Austria, Germany and Italy, as well as organizing activities such as International Cultural Week and study tours, students are able to connect with the world. 4. Promote STEAM education and Green School: Encourage students' creativity and problem solving skills; Through green learning, students can implement plans to reduce our environmental impact on the Earth through activities inside and outside of school. 5. Curriculum highlights: School-wide English speaking activities will also be organised per month to inspire students' interests in learning English. There is also an English Corner that provides different English learning games and activities. To further increase students' confidence in speaking English, native English speaking teachers help students in their oral training. |

Christian Education: Our school is committed to promoting value education based on Biblical knowledge, cultivating students' love for life, and establishing a positive value 2. Biblical Knowledge: Biblical Knowledge are offered from S.1 to S.3, with a curriculum designed by the school. Through engaging and diverse learning approaches, students are taught Biblical truths and encouraged in their spiritual growth. 3. Moral Education: From S.4 to S.6, Moral Education is offered, grounded in the Bible. By addressing real-life topics, it aims to foster the development of correct attitudes and values, encouraging students to live fulfilling lives. 4. Morning Assembly and Weekly Assembly: Aligned with the themes of value education, these activities shape a positive campus culture. Career planning activities are also introduced during weekly gatherings at different levels to prepare students for further education and employment. The school also organizes regular Christian fellowship and cell groups to promote students' spiritual growth. 5. Form Teacher Lesson: Through regular form teacher lessons, students are guided to reflect on themselves and their lives, fostering good character and discovering their individual potentials. |
| (5) Life Planning Education | : | The School develops a whole-school approach to life planning education starting from junior forms. Every year, we cooperate with local and overseas institutes and organizations to provide different career talks, university visits, exhibitions, career-related workshops, etc for students and parents. Through different career mapping activities and mentorship programmes, students can understand the situation of job market and search for their interested career paths so as to prepare for their career planning after the completion of senior secondary school curriculum. The School has also set up "Parent-School Cooperation - Workplace Experience Scheme", in which parents are invited to take part in students' career planning and let students visit their workplace, providing information for students to prepare for their further career planning. |

| (1) Whole School Approach to Catering for Learner Diversity | : | This school is committed to support teachers in caring for individual student's needs. In S.1 to S.6 two form teachers are assigned to each class. Junior form English classes are further divided into smaller groups of teaching. Homework tutorials catering for students with different needs are held after school. Study groups are also provided for gifted students. The School arranges training for teachers in different teaching areas in order to cater for the students' individual learning needs. |
| (2) Whole School Approach to Integrated Education | : | Our school aims at developing an inclusive and caring campus to support students with special needs in learning through our whole school approach. Special Education Need Support Group is set up by a team of professionals such as Vice Principal, SEN support teachers, trained teachers, counseling teachers, social workers and teaching assistants. The SEN support teachers also provide professional assistant to teachers and social workers. With the Learning Support Grant and the Grant for Supporting Non-Chinese Speaking Students with Special Educational Needs, we also hire additional staff and services of external organization. We also cater the needs of SEN students by providing adjustments on homework, learning and examinations, psychological counseling and career planning. We also maintain close relationship with parents in order to provide sufficient supports. |
| (3) Education Support for Non-Chinese Speaking (NCS) Students | : | Our school provides additional support for NCS students to facilitate their learning of Chinese: providing after-school support programmes in learning Chinese; appointing additional teacher(s)/teaching assistant(s) to support NCS students’ learning of Chinese; arranging intensive Chinese learning and teaching mode(s), e.g. pull-out learning if necessary, split-class/group learning, etc.; developing school-based Chinese Language curriculum and/or adapting learning and teaching materials; and organising activities to create an inclusive learning environment in the school. Establish an International Cultural Society and a Translation Service Group. |
| (4) Measures to Provide Adaptation for Learning and Assessment | : | In each subject area, the school promotes diversified formative assessment strategies so that students are aware of the areas for improvement in each stage of their learning. Needy students, including those from families receiving the Comprehensive Social Security Assistance (CSSA) and students receiving financial assistance provided by the Student Financial Assistance Agency (SFAA) could apply for fee remission. - Newly admitted students could apply for the school fee remission before 2 week(s) of commencement of the new school year. Application results will be announced within 1 month(s) after submission of applications. The school encourages students’ younger brothers and sisters to study here. If students have siblings studying or graduated from our school, they can have half school fee remission. | (1) Home-School Co-operation | : | 1. The Parent-Teacher Association is set up to bridge between parents and school in order to strengthen home-school cooperation. 2. In partnership with the Education Bureau and universities in Hong Kong, we provide professional support to teachers in their professional teaching and learning and personal development so that teachers can continuously reach higher professional goals. |
| Life-wide Learning (Including Five Essential Learning Experiences to be Provided through Key Learning Areas, Extra-curricular Activities, Co-curricular Activities, etc.) | : | Our school aims at developing students’ self-directed learning through “Whole Person Development Award Scheme”, which includes four aspects: “Intelligence Development”, “Art and Physical Education Development”, “Social Service” and “Moral and Civic Education”. Besides, we provide students with a variety of activities such as service groups, school teams, different societies and interest clubs, in order to help students develop their interests, improve their fitness and experience happy school life. We also aim at promotion inclusive culture through student activities, for student to learn about different cultures to build a harmonious community. The Life-wide Learning Days aim at providing students with the learning experiences outside classroom.
