| School Facilities | : | The school has air-conditioned classrooms with lockers and internet access. Special rooms include Multi-Media Learning Centre, Language Learning Laboratory, three computer rooms, five laboratories, Student Activity Centre, Campus TV Production Room, Drama Room, Teachers' Resource Centre and Teachers' IT Centre. Curriculum reforms have been implemented at school to meet the ever-changing requirements of STEAM education. SLS 3-D printing, laser cutting, coding program and many other initiatives have been introduced into our school-based curriculum. It is expected that our school will become a STEAM education centre in the district with the conversion of our D & T Classroom to The Maker Space Room and help to promote the technological knowledge, capacity and attitudes of our students. |

| Orientation Activities and Healthy Life | : | New students' orientation day and Bridging programme are provided to help Form one students adapt to secondary school life. Our school has been given the 'Green School Award' for a consecutive of three years. We promote a green culture among students by producing recyclable products from yard waste and received the Reborn of Yard Waste Award from Y·PARK. |

| (1) Whole-school Language Policy | : | Some students in the junior forms use English to learn Mathematics in order to enhance their proficiency in two languages and trilingualism. Besides formal teaching and learning, various activities have been implemented to raise students' language standard in English, Chinese and Putonghua, such as the extensive reading scheme, Chinese Week, English Week, French-Chinese Students Exchange Programme and Speech Festival. Apart from the formal curriculum, our school also provides English immersion programmes, English drama and Cambridge English courses. |
| (2) Learning and Teaching Strategies | : | 1. Homework classes for F.1 students after school are arranged in the first term to help students cultivate good learning habits; 2. Enhancement classes are arranged for junior form students to ensure their learning effectiveness in an improved teacher-student ratio environment; 3. Enhancement courses and tutorial classes are organised for senior form students to help them master examination skills and boost their confidence towards studies; 4. Different types of student projects have been done, e.g. field trips, interviews, surveys, etc. Good projects are chosen presented on the Project Presentation Day; 5. International and territory-wide competitions are held by LCP, including Hong Kong English Speaking and Performing Contest and English Benchmark International Collaborations (EBIC) and territory-wide Rummikub Competition. Various academic weeks have been scheduled, such as Mathematics Week, Science Week, Humanities Week. There are also Chinese Essay Competitions and calligraphy competitions. Students have won numerous awards in many inter-school academic competitions, such as the Hong Kong Schools Speech Festival and Writing Competition. 6. A wide variety of subjects are provided for the students, so their varied interests and abilities are properly taken care of. In order to prepare our students for the senior form curriculum, Drama Class is also offered in the junior form. 7. A Creative Technology subject is offered in the junior form and so the elements of STEAM education are integrated into our formal curriculum. 8. An e-learning programme is promoted at school and it has facilitated the interaction between the teachers and the students, and the development of self-directed learning. 9. Peer observation between teachers is encouraged at school and our teachers are always invited by the EDB and outside organizations to share their experience. |

Electives: History, Geography, Business, Accounting and Financial Studies, Chemistry, Tourism and Hospitality Studies, Biology, Economics, Visual Arts, Chinese History, Information & Communication Technology and Physics. 2. Curriculum highlights: Liberal Studies, Drama lessons, Reading lessons and Project Works are implemented in the junior forms to better prepare students in communication and collaboration for the new senior secondary curriculum. Small class sizes and co-teaching in junior forms make interactive teaching and learning in the classroom more effective. Various programmes, such as One Article one Day reading scheme, Wisenews scheme and the “Mathematics Elite Award Scheme” are organised to strengthen students’ self-learning ability and equip them with generic skills. In order to strengthen the self-learning and critical thinking capability of students, “4-steps” teaching tactic is adopted in our school. This student-oriented teaching approach underpinned with inter-active class activities, group discussion, questioning and presentation inspires students’ thinking and encourages active learning. Students can also apply and consolidate their knowledge and concepts through projects, case studies, field trips and various multi-dimensional continuing assessment. |
| (4) Major Renewed Emphases in the School Curriculum | : | A morning reading period is scheduled in the school timetable for all students at our school. There is also a reading scheme covering a total of eight different subjects, which aims at encouraging students to read a wide variety of books. All classrooms are well-equipped with computers, which promote project learning. Through the teachers' sharing time in the assembly period, class-teacher periods and Life Education lessons, positive moral values are brought to students. |
| (5) Life Planning Education | : | Our school has joined the "Project WeCan", a Business-in-Community programme which provides workplace visit, talk to CEOs and job tasting programme with the aims to give students hands-on experience. In addition, knowledge and skills of life planning are integrated into the formal curriculum. To help students better plan for their future, our school not only provides individualized and group counselling, but also arranges our alumni studying at universities or attaining professional qualifications to share their experiences with them. On top of that, we have also affiliated with local and overseas tertiary institutions to provide them with study advice, mock interviews and seminars for their readiness for future learning path and career planning. |

| (1) Whole School Approach to Catering for Learner Diversity | : | The Student Support Team is responsible for planning and implementing work to cater for students' special education needs. 70% of our teachers have received training programmes on special education, possessing rich professional knowledge to further address the needs of SEN students. Co-teaching are adopted in junior forms. Through the tailoring of curriculum and assessment together with after-school tutorials, the learning progress of SEN students is closely monitored. |
| (2) Whole School Approach to Integrated Education | : | Whole school approach is adopted in promoting integrated education. The school is committed to provide students with appropriate and diversified support services to enhance their learning effectiveness and help them integrate into campus life by utilizing different grants and other community resources. The Student Support Team consists of a special education needs (SEN) coordinator, SEN supporting teachers, educational psychologists, speech therapist, social workers, teachers, teaching assistant and tutors. The school provides students with appropriate support in response to their special education needs. Some examples of this include after-school homework tutoring and pre-trial tutoring classes; speech therapy services; learning, homework and test adjustments, and inclusive activities. In addition, the school makes good use of community resources by participating in activities organized by different institutions in the local community to provide students with a wide range of support services. |
| (3) Education Support for Non-Chinese Speaking (NCS) Students | : | Our school provides additional support for NCS students to facilitate their learning of Chinese: providing after-school support programmes in learning Chinese; appointing additional teacher(s)/teaching assistant(s) to support NCS students’ learning of Chinese; arranging intensive Chinese learning and teaching mode(s), e.g. pull-out learning if necessary, split-class/group learning, etc.; developing school-based Chinese Language curriculum and/or adapting learning and teaching materials; organising activities to create an inclusive learning environment in the school; and hiring additional manpower and/or translation/interpretation services to facilitate the communication with parents. |
| (4) Measures to Provide Adaptation for Learning and Assessment | : | There are two examinations and uniform tests in the school year. Formative assessments are adopted to evaluate students' performance. To help junior form students to build up their confidence in learning and encourage them to make attempts in tests and examinations, 40% of the questions in all junior form assessment papers are core questions. |
| Home-School Co-operation and School Ethos | ||
| (1) Home-School Co-operation | : | An information counter is set up by the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) on the New Student Orientation Day. Parents can therefore share the experience of building up a harmonious relationship with their children. Our PTA will also organize various activities like the parent-student picnic day, summer holiday tutorials and selling of second-hand books to students. Parent-teacher gatherings are also organized for all parents in order to provide chances for parents to share their experience. |
| (2) School Ethos | : | There are various activities to increase students' adaptability, sense of belonging and self-confidence. Mass guidance programmes include sharing in the Award Ceremony, Morning Assembly, the Good Student Award Scheme, and Students and Teachers Appreciation Scheme. Individual or group counseling have been provided for students with special educational needs. Two form teachers have been assigned to each junior form class to look after the students. Our school aims at promoting positive and caring culture, enlightening teachers and students to "Think Positive．Do Possible". Different guidance programmes help to foster students’ whole-person development and to nurture their lifelong learning capabilities. |

| (1) School Development Plan | : | 3+3 School Development Plan: 1. Leading to effective learning 2. Cultivating positive culture 3. Pursuing outstanding achievements "School Development Committee" has been established since 2024/25 school year to coordinate the future direction of school development. The committee adopts a new approach to systematically plan according to the Seven Learning Goals of Secondary Education set by the Education Bureau, and appoints teachers and consultants to manage the coordination. The seven learning objectives include: National and Global Identity, Breadth of Knowledge, Language Proficiency, Generic Skills, Information Literacy, Life Planning and Healthy Lifestyle. |
| (2) Teacher Professional Training and Development | : | 1. Co-lesson planning sessions have been arranged for Chinese, English and Mathematics teachers. Peer lesson observations among teachers of the same or different subjects are encouraged. Group lesson observation, preparation and evaluation have been conducted in nine junior form subjects. With the close collaboration with colleagues, teachers improved the effectiveness of teaching; 2. To enhance the effectiveness of teaching, Lesson Observation Award Scheme and Lesson Video Self–Evaluation Scheme were implemented. 3. Our school has been invited by the Education Bureau to serve as a coordinating school for the Quality Education Fund Thematic Networks since 2020, providing support for STEAM education. Dozens of teacher training workshops have been held, with over 500 participants, benefiting more than 3,000 teachers and students. |
| Life-wide Learning (Including Five Essential Learning Experiences to be Provided through Key Learning Areas, Extra-curricular Activities, Co-curricular Activities, etc.) | : | There are approximately forty clubs which provide academic, athletic and arts activities for the students, newly introduced scouts, soccer, fencing, rowing, and Guzheng classes. Students are also encouraged to perform service duties. Inter-class and inter-club competitions will be held to enrich students' school life and to develop their leadership abilities. The students involved in this programme attended lessons on different subjects and a series of outings were organized, which broaden the horizons of our students. The exposure to western culture enabled our students to learn effective communication skills and they were more motivated to learn. Over the past 17 years, more than 140 students have benefited from the Franco-Chinese Student Exchange Programme. |
