| Secondary One Admission | : | Our school will accept discretionary places. Our school will participate in the Secondary School Places Allocation System through central allocation stage (Applicable for admission to S.1 in September 2025 ).Criteria for S.1 Discretionary Places: The school takes into consideration students' conduct (obtained good or excellent conduct in Primary 5 and Primary 6), the Rank Order from EDB, performance in extra-curricular activities, internal academic results and awards when admitting S.1 students. | Orientation Activities and Healthy Life | : | Orientation Activities: To help S.1 students adapt to the English learning environment, our school organizes the S.1 English Bridging Program in the summer. There is also a wide variety of orientation programs, such as the S.1 Orientation Day and Welcoming S.1 Students Camp. The S.1 Parents' Day is also held to facilitate communication and to create a close bond between parents and teachers. | (1) Whole-school Language Policy | : | English is used as the main medium of instruction in all subjects except Chinese Language, Chinese History, Putonghua, Chinese Literature and Citizenship & Social Development. Our school aims to train our students to become biliterate in English and Chinese, and trilingual in English, Putonghua and Cantonese. |

We also emphasize the training of students' self-learning skills, nurturing good virtues and manners, whole-person development, and effective teaching and learning. The curricula and teaching syllabuses of various subjects in our school gear closely to the curriculum framework and key learning areas devised by EDB. School-based curriculum is implemented in our school and the training of students' generic skills is also incorporated in everyday lessons. |

In addition to the core subjects, senior secondary students may choose HKDSE Category B- Applied Learning subjects as an elective subject according to their interests, aspirations and abilities. | (4) Major Renewed Emphases in the School Curriculum | : | The school places great emphasis on promoting 'Reading to Learn' to our students. Headed by the Reading to Learn Committee, extensive reading schemes, book exhibitions, seminars and book review writing competitions are organized. The school also promotes I.T. in education. With Wifi fully installed across the school campus, eLearning which aims to boost students' interest in all subject areas is one of our major concerns. To enhance teaching effectiveness, teachers will incorporate a variety of eLearning elements in the curriculum. Students will also be guided to learn at their own pace according to their ability through self-exploring a profusion of eLearning materials. STEM education will be widely implemented not only in our key learning areas but also in activities within and outside the school, with the community to enrich students' knowledge of science, technology, engineering and mathematics. Last but not least, reading, lesson preparation and learning across the curriculum will continue to be indispensable parts of our curriculum in consolidating students' foundation. Our school also puts great emphasis on life education. We promote students' well-being through learning experiences to lead them a healthy lifestyle with positive values. We also establish students' national and global identity and foster their personal development so that they can contribute themselves to the development of society. |
| (5) Life Planning Education | : | In order to strengthen career and life planning education, our school has implemented a school-based “Careers and Life Planning Scheme” for all junior form students. Students will be able to explore their academic interests and career aspirations after completing aptitude tests, researching university programmes and participating in various career-related activities. Moreover, our school organizes Career Expo to equip both senior form students and their parents with the knowledge of various study, career and training pathways. A wide range of career-related activities, such as workplace visits, career exploration workshops and work experience programmes, are also held to furnish students with the knowledge, skills and attitude to make informed and choices in accordance with their interests, abilities and orientations. |

| (1) Whole School Approach to Catering for Learner Diversity | : | To cater for learner diversity, our school organizes after-school learning programs, assigns graded exercises to students of different abilities and employs different teaching strategies to match students' learning styles. Our school makes use of information technology to support students of diverse abilities to learn at their own pace after school. Group learning activities and discussions are held to enhance the effectiveness of teaching and learning. For S.1 Chinese, English and Mathematics lessons, the school has split classes to enhance learning effectiveness. Teachers give timely feedback to students regarding their learning tasks to consolidate their knowledge. Students also have to do self-evaluation on their studies. |
| (2) Whole School Approach to Integrated Education | : | We endeavour to foster integration and build a caring school community, offering students with special needs school-based support through home-school cooperation and resource allocation. Catering for the needs of individual student, our targeted and diversified support services will improve students’ learning effectiveness and communication skills, hence to ensure a more enjoyable integrated school life and healthier personal growth. We have set up a support group for students, members including our assistant principal, the SEN coordinator, teachers equipped with SEN training, our school social workers, teaching assistants, the speech therapist and the educational psychologist from EDB. We and our subsidiary units keep close contact with the inspectors from Special Education Support Section, EDB as well as parents. We carefully assign a range of resources including Learning Support Grant, Grant for Supporting Non-Chinese Speaking Students with Special Educational Needs and other resources for SEN assistance, providing professional care services such as social skill training workshop and other skills’ training workshops. Our valued home-school cooperation and regular communication between parents and our group members or teachers bring forward our joint-effort in student support. |
| (3) Education Support for Non-Chinese Speaking (NCS) Students | : | Our school provides additional support for NCS students to facilitate their learning of Chinese: providing after-school support programmes in learning Chinese; appointing additional teacher(s)/teaching assistant(s) to support NCS students’ learning of Chinese; arranging intensive Chinese learning and teaching mode(s), e.g. pull-out learning if necessary, split-class/group learning, etc.; and organising activities to create an inclusive learning environment in the school. |
| (4) Measures to Provide Adaptation for Learning and Assessment | : | There are one uniform mid-term test and one exam in each term. Project work forms part of the assessments. Continuous assessments are also introduced in S.1-S.6, which includes students' learning attitude in class and homework assessment. |

| (1) Home-School Co-operation | : | The Parents-Teachers' Association is set up with the aim to establish a close bond among parents, to facilitate communication and strengthen the tie between the school and the students' families. The Association also works closely with and fully supports the school for the betterment of students. Besides, two parent representatives are elected as members of the School Management Committee to help devise the school major policies and endorse the school budget. |
