Facilities also include a school hall, a recently renovated library, a covered playground, and two basketball courts. All indoor areas have air conditioning, high-efficiency wireless networks, sophisticated interactive teaching systems, and projection equipment. Classroom facilities are state-of-the-art, with comprehensive network coverage across the campus. |

| Orientation Activities and Healthy Life | : | In mid-July, shortly after the registration process, there is a Parents' Day organized for new S.1 students to familiarize them with the school’s daily running routines. Besides, the school offers bridging courses and a challenging summer camp for S.1 students to prepare them for their secondary studies, with a special focus on consolidating knowledge, developing interests, and providing discipline training. At the beginning of the academic year, the school organizes a talk to parents of S.1 students so as to strengthen the cooperation between the school and the parents. Students' physical and mental health is our greatest concern. The Department of Health, in cooperation with our school, will provide a body check for all students. Healthy and well-balanced lunch boxes will be supplied for students who stay in school for lunch. Various physical activities will be arranged for students after school. We believe that physical activities not only help our students to relax, but also train their team spirit. This year, our school continues to join the “Healthy School Program” to raise students’ awareness of mental and physical well-being. |

A food waste decomposer has been installed to encourage the practice of organic farming and to enhance students’ awareness on environmental protection issues. With a view to further enhance the effectiveness in energy use, we have introduced an extensive use of solar power generation system and Grade 1 Energy Label appliances in our Room Air Conditioning System. We have also endeavored to promote a recycling culture on campus to reduce the production of solid waste and the consumption of excessive energy. |

| (1) Whole-school Language Policy | : | Our school values biliteracy and trilingualism. While promoting mother tongue education, we also offer Putonghua as a subject for our secondary school students. To enrich English learning, we have joined the NET scheme. Students have many opportunities to conduct conversations with the NET both inside and outside their classrooms. For the needs of the cross-border and newly – arrived students, we have regular elite and remedial classes. Our school also continuously encourages students to engage in reading and participate in Hong Kong Schools Speech Festivals (English, Putonghua, Cantonese) as well as external writing competitions, where they have consistently won awards. |
| (2) Learning and Teaching Strategies | : | Subject panels and groups meet regularly to revise and tailor-made learning and teaching strategies in the hope of maximizing benefits to meet students' abilities and needs. Small learning groups are common whenever there is a need. Students will also be encouraged to learn outside their classrooms under our newly implemented 'Mobile Learning' Scheme in order to broaden their learning horizons. The school has updated the use of ipads and ebooks and adopted the practice of collaborative lesson planning and class visits to enhance learning and teaching efficiency. This year the school has newly installed interactive smartboards in every classroom. |

| (1) Whole School Approach to Catering for Learner Diversity | : | In our attempt to create a caring and inclusive campus, we have adopted the “Whole School Approach to Integrated Education” to support SEN students so as to provide appropriate and diverse support services to enhance their learning efficacy. The support service team comprises of our Vice-Principal, an SEN Coordinator, the Counseling Master, core subject teachers, social workers, teaching assistants and education psychologists. In order to cater for the needs of each and every SEN student. They will also be given special arrangements both for internal and public examinations based on the guidelines from the Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority. Through the cooperation with professional teams outside the school, we hope to give the most suitable form of assistance to help students in their learning and personal growth. Each SEN student will be assigned a mentor from senior forms. Extra support is also available through regular meetings with SEN students and their parents. |
| (2) Whole School Approach to Integrated Education | : | In our attempt to create a caring and inclusive campus, we shall use the “Whole School Approach to Integrated Education” to support SEN students. The support service team comprises of a coordinator, core subject teachers and teaching assistants. They will be working closely with the Counselling Master, Discipline Master, social workers and education psychologists. Each SEN student will be assigned a mentor who oversees the needs of the student through regular meeting with the student and parents. We would be suing the SEN support funds in the most sensible and flexible manner, such as increasing the number of teaching staff and teaching assistants, or subscribing to professional services provided by language therapists and counsellors, in order to cater for the needs of each and every SEN student. The lunchtime board games activities and senior mentoring schemes are some of the initiatives we are undertaking to help SEN students to better blend into their school life. They will also be given special arrangements both for internal and public examinations based on the guidelines from the Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority. Our teachers are also encouraged to pursue further development courses to understand the needs and preferred learning approaches of such students. |
| (4) Measures to Provide Adaptation for Learning and Assessment | : | Under normal circumstances, our school assesses students' academic performance through regular quizzes, two uniform tests per year, and two final exams. The school also compares and analyzes the results of each assessment and exam to enable teachers to understand students' learning progress and provide appropriate follow-up and support. To cater to students' diverse learning needs, our school also makes reasonable adjustments to the test papers, encouraging students with different abilities to answer questions to the best of their abilities. |

In order to achieve better communication between students and teachers, junior form class teachers will join students in their meal time and will organize activities for them during lunch breaks. |
