Secondary One Admission : Our school will accept discretionary places. Our school will participate in the Secondary School Places Allocation System through central allocation stage (Applicable for admission to S.1 in September 2025 ). Orientation Activities and Healthy Life : Orientation Days for S.1 parents and students are organized in the summer vacation to enhance students’ and parents’ understanding of the school. Bridging Programmes for S.1 students are organized to enhance students' learning effectiveness. S1 pastoral care activities are organized to enable students’ better adjustment to the new environment.
Various committees under the Student Development Committees organize comprehensive activities and programmes to foster the development of students’ positive values and healthy lifestyle.

School Management
(1)School's Major Concerns : 1. Reinforcing self-regulated learning, strengthening language proficiency, learning through exploration.

(2) School Management Organisation : We adopt school-based management for continuous school development through the collaborative efforts of the School Management Committee, School Policy Committee, Parent-Teacher Association and Alumni Association.
(3) Incorporated Management Committee / School Management Committee / Management Committee : Apart from the EDB representative and the Principal, our SMC includes two members from each of the following categories: parents, alumni, community members and teachers.
(4) School Green Policy : Our school adopts school-based environmental protection policy to enhance students’ environmental awareness. Environmental Ambassador Programme, Green Roof Project, waste separation and energy saving activities are organised to arouse students' awareness of environmental protection, cultivate students' green life and promote low carbon culture.
Learning and Teaching Plan
(1) Whole-school Language Policy : To equip students with biliteracy and trilingual proficiency for their further study and career opportunities, enhancing students' proficiency in English, Chinese and Putonghua is one of our major concerns. In junior form, extended learning activities in English is implemented in all subjects, except Chinese Language, Putonghua, Chinese History and Technology and Living to provide students with more exposure to English. In senior forms, electives are taught in either Chinese and English to cater for students' need and ability.
Our school joins the Native English Teacher Scheme and organised diversified English learning activities, including extended learning activities in English, diversified English activities, cross-subject reading activities, English enhancement and enrichment classes to create English-rich Learning Environment, and enhance students’ interest and effectiveness in learning English.
(2) Learning and Teaching Strategies : We strive to foster students’ positive learning attitude, and inspire them to take a proactive role in their learning. Besides, we organise diverse learning activities, including incorporating Drama in Education in English curriculum and cross-subject reading activities to enhance students’ language proficiency and cultivate their reading habit. We also promote eLearning to enhance students’ learning effectiveness. We implement STEAM Education to strengthen students’ abilities to integrate and apply the knowledge and skills they acquired, and boost their interest in inquiry and learning.

2. Curriculum highlights:
(i) Our school has incorporated Drama in Education into our Junior Level English Language education. The curriculum encourages students to experience and explore through "real life" situations and provides students with different opportunities for language enhancement.
(ii) The school strives to strengthen students’ active learning skills and language abilities, and foster their interest in inquiry. Besides, we provide students with diversified learning experiences through formal and informal curriculum to strengthen students’ positive values, develop their healthy lifestyle, and enhance their resilience, problem-solving skills, communication skills, and other generic skills to equip them for future challenges.
(4) Major Renewed Emphases in the School Curriculum : Learning with Information Technology: e-learning platform is adopted to promote students' self-access learning, sharing and assessment. Project learning: To develop students' generic skills, we have assigned various projects for each subject. Moral & Civic Education: The Beihang University Affiliated School has become our sister school since 2006. All S.1 students will receive training in foot drills. Besides, a wide spectrum of activities incubating positive values in students are organized to promote moral and civic education. Reading to learn: Students are required to read extensively to widen their horizons and to share their learning experience with schoolmates through the PA system. Apart from the ERS, online reading programme (Chinese) is promoted among S.1-S.3 students to promote their reading habit. English Builder Online Programme helps enhance students' English Proficiency through self-access learning.
(5) Life Planning Education : 'Career and life planning' is provided to all students in a whole-school approach. All pastoral care committees and subject departments would work together to provide career and life planning education and career guidance to students. Fostering whole person development of students through enhancing their awareness on career and life planning is our key objective. Life and Society lessons, individual and group guidance meetings, career-related talks, workshops, simulation games, class teacher lessons, visits, alumni mentorship scheme and work experience activities would be arranged to strengthen students’ knowledge and enhance their awareness on career and life planning. We also collaborate with NGOs in providing career-related experiences to students and life planning education training workshops for teachers.
Student Support
(1) Whole School Approach to Catering for Learner Diversity : Gifted Education Training Programme as well as Enhancement & Remedial Programmes to cater for the needs of the students every year. We have made use of the funding from After School Learning Support Scheme and Diversity Learning Grant to support students in both academic and non-academic fields.
(2) Whole School Approach to Integrated Education : Our school is committed to creating a caring campus and adopts a "Whole-School Approach" to support students with special educational needs. By utilizing funding, we provide appropriate and diversified support services to enhance their learning effectiveness and development of their potential. The support services include curriculum and teaching adjustments, special arrangements for examinations and assessments, and strengthening social and emotional learning groups.
(3) Education Support for Non-Chinese Speaking (NCS) Students : Our school provides additional support for NCS students to facilitate their learning of Chinese: providing after-school support programmes in learning Chinese; appointing additional teacher(s)/teaching assistant(s) to support NCS students’ learning of Chinese; arranging intensive Chinese learning and teaching mode(s), e.g. pull-out learning if necessary, split-class/group learning, etc.; developing school-based Chinese Language curriculum and/or adapting learning and teaching materials; and organising activities to create an inclusive learning environment in the school.
(4) Measures to Provide Adaptation for Learning and Assessment : Continuous assessment helps to relieve students from examination stress.
Home-School Co-operation and School Ethos
(1) Home-School Co-operation : The Parent-Teacher Association closely collaborates with the school by holding regular meetings, organizing various activities, and inviting parents to participate in school events to promote effective communication between home and school. Activities include parent education talks and workshops, interest classes, Teacher's Day events, picnics, and community service, aimed at enhancing parent-child communication, strengthening parent education, focusing on family mental health, and promoting home-school connections.
(2) School Ethos : We are committed to fostering the overall development of our students by promoting positive thinking and moral values through various programs. We also recognize student achievements with various awards and provide different platforms to showcase students' potential, such as swimming galas, sports days, music and drama performances, and speech festivals. At the beginning of the school year, we implement the "Leap Programme," which allows students to set personal targets tailored to their individual needs. "My Career Plan" helps students define their career goals and prepare for future professions.

(2) Teacher Professional Training and Development : To keep abreast of the latest development in academic structure and educational policies, teachers attend many seminars, workshops and courses.
Life-wide Learning (Including Five Essential Learning Experiences to be Provided through Key Learning Areas, Extra-curricular Activities, Co-curricular Activities, etc.) : Our school offers a wide range of Co-curricular activities for students. There are 26 school clubs under the following categories - academic, art, social service, leisure, religious, sports and uniform groups. A well-organized Students' Association provides leadership training activities for students. The four Houses – Red, Blue, Yellow and Green, develop students’ multiple intelligence through organizing a wide range of Inter-house competitions. We organized two Student Development Days for students to enrich their learning experiences, enhance their generic skills and whole-person development.
Others : Our school is dedicated to fostering students’ holistic development. Students excel in music, sports, language arts, visual arts, Chinese martial arts, and more, achieving outstanding results in various inter-school competitions and activities.
Our students have won numerous awards in the Hong Kong Schools Music Festival, the Joint School Music Competition of Hong Kong Joint School Music Association, and the GalaMusica – School Creative Works. Besides, they have demonstrated exceptional leadership and performance in sports, Chinese debate, and verse speaking. They have been awarded the Excellent Student Award in the “Pursuing Excellence and Beyond” Programme, the AS Watson Group Hong Kong Student Sports Award, First Runner-up in The Dragon Cup: The Inter-Government Secondary Schools Multi-sided Debating Competition, and Champion and Third Place in the Hong Kong Schools Speech Festival.
Our students also showcase their talents in STEAM, visual arts, and Chinese martial arts, earning various trophies in these areas. These include Silver Awards in both the AI Innovative Contest and the Student Hackathon in the Government Secondary School Learning Circle: AI Education, Champion in the Jockey Club Student Drawing Competition (Senior Section in Secondary School) of the Hong Kong Flower Show and Botanical Art Competition of the Chinese University of Hong Kong, and a Merit Award in the HK Open Dragon & Lion Dance Competition.
Direct Public Transportation to School : The school is accessible by MTR, bus, mini-bus and other means of public transport.
Remarks : We arrange some S.4 and S.5 students to take the Applied Learning in school (mode 2: Sports and Fitness Coaching, English for Business Services, Applied JPN and JPN Culture, Airport Passenger Terminal Ops or Computer Game and Animation Design). On the other hand, we arrange some of our S5 students to attend the Applied Learning courses organized by external organization.
