| Secondary One Admission | : | Our school will accept discretionary places. Our school will participate in the Secondary School Places Allocation System through central allocation stage (Applicable for admission to S.1 in September 2025 ).Admission criteria and weightings for the S.1 discretionary places: Rank order list (provided by EDB) 20%, Academic results in the primary school 15%, Interview 30%, Conduct and attitudes 15%, ECA, services and awards 20%. |
| Orientation Activities and Healthy Life | : | Summer Orientation Program: F.1 Orientation Days, Parents Day, Bridging classes, whole-year tutorial classes, after-school learning support as well as Life and Discipline Training Camp and a trio-class teacher system for F.1 and F.2 classes. Healthy School life: All S.1&2 students are required to have lunch at school. The catering quality is monitored by a special team and vegetarian meals are provided in school. We endeavor to provide high quality, well-planned physical education curriculum and a wide range of co-curricular activities with a view to developing students' physical fitness and improving their health conditions. Our school also originates the Multi-Dimensional Counselling Strategy to offer a holistic support to students’ growth. |

During assembly lessons, we invite different environmental NGOs to give talks to our students and workshops are arranged as extra curricular activities. Also, we organise voluntary services for students to experience and make contributions to the society about related topics. Knowledge concerning environmental protection is included in the syllabuses of some academic subjects like Buddhism and Value Education, Citizenship and Social Development and Integrated Science. |

To enhance English proficiency, we hire a full-time NET and arrange small class teaching in English lessons for F.1-6. Besides, we arrange English enrichment courses and extended learning activities (ELA) in English in 14 subjects. We also encourage students to sit for international English assessments such as Cambridge English, TOEIC and IELTS. |

Curriculum highlights: Junior Forms: During the Junior Secondary stage, we adopt the Universal Design for Learning. To cater to students of different abilities through group work and universal design for learning, and to help students develop a clear study goal. Senior Forms: School offers 3X Electives, providing Arts, Business, Science and Applied Learning streams, together with S5 subject changing arrangement and S6 subject dropping arrangement to allow students to make the right choice for themselves regarding their own abilities. Competent students can opt for 4 electives. Enrich learning experience by offering Integrated Art Education (IAE) courses. Offer Japanese course for capable students to sit the official exam and explore multiple pathways. |
| (4) Major Renewed Emphases in the School Curriculum | : | 1. National and Values Education Our School emphasizes students' development of character and nurture the sense of national identity. We set up a Buddhism and Moral Values Team to instill students with proper values and global perspectives through form teacher periods, Buddhism Lessons, different subjects and academic weeks. 2. Reading to Learn The school has arranged reading periods, reading channel and Academic Weeks to promote cross-curricular reading with different themes. Individual subject also offers thematic reading policies. At the same time, many book exhibitions, book sharing sessions and author talks are held each year to promote the reading culture in school. 3. Project Learning Every Subject curriculum covers a wide variety of project learning elements, allowing students to have further in-depth exploration in their studies through collaborative learning. 4. Information Technology We have a school-wide BYOD policy. Technology is extensively utilized to enhance teaching effectiveness. |

| (1) Whole School Approach to Catering for Learner Diversity | : | 1. Three class teachers for all Secondary 1 and 2 Classes. 2. Develop a Teaching mode with different groupings to cater for students’ learning needs. 3. Implementing the “Multi-Dimensional Counselling Strategy”, the Counselling Team, the Student Support Team and the Career Guidance Team will collaborate with each other to provide a much more precise counselling service for students. 4. Educational Psychologists, Clinical Psychologists, Speech Therapists, Occupational Therapists, 3 Social Workers and 3 Counsellors are available to provide professional counselling services for students. 5. Offering after-school tutorial classes to consolidate students’ learning. 6. Recruiting a dozen of teaching assistants with various strengths to help students unleash their potential. 7. Setting up over 40 kinds of after-school activities for students to join. |
| (2) Whole School Approach to Integrated Education | : | 1. Adopting a Whole School Approach to promote Inclusive Education and communion culture. A Student Support Team including Vice Principals, SENCO, Education Psychologist, Speech Therapist, Clinical Psychologist, Occupational Therapist, teachers from core subject departments, social workers and assistant teachers provide all-rounded support for students with special learning needs. 2. Flexible use of Learning Support Grant to support students in all aspects of learning. For learning, students' diversity is catered by the Universal Design for Learning Framework, diversified teaching strategies and after-school learning support. For Students' growth, various experiential learning, life-planning programs are launched to develop students’ multiple intelligence and create opportunities for success. 3. Our school attaches an importance to the cooperation between parents and school. In addition to establishing constant communication, the team also actively meets parents on Parent Days to review the situation of students and set study plans for individual students. All these measures let parents adapt a more effective way to take care and guide their children. |

| Home-School Co-operation and School Ethos | ||
| (1) Home-School Co-operation | : | We have established the Parent-Teacher Association. It serves as a channel of communication between parents and the school. The association is involved in formulating school policies and organizes a range of parent education activities involving both parents and their children. PTA is an intimate working partner of the school. |
| (2) School Ethos | : | We place a strong emphasis on the integrity of students. Teachers are strict but compassionate. We teach students with patience. In the latest report of External School Review, we received high appreciation as follows: School puts priority in caring students, strongly believes students can distinguish the right from wrong, they are willing to learn and can be changed. Principal and teachers care students and guide them steps by steps, aiming at giving students to experience success and help them to build up confidence. In turn, they can have stronger motivation to learn. School enriches students learning experience with a wide range of extra-curricular activities, inter-school competitions and cross-border learning. Students are encouraged to strive for excellence both inside and outside classroom. Teachers and students, therefore, build up a strong bond with mutual trust and respect. Such a caring learning atmosphere enhances students' sense of belonging to school. Parents also appreciate the school’s support and care to their children. Teachers have strong team spirit and offer mutual support. Middle managers also set good role models and are willing to take up responsibilities. Our school has successfully laid a strong foundation in managing and nurturing students, and will continue to help students cultivate good learning habits and strengthen moral education. |

| (2) Teacher Professional Training and Development | : | We implement quality teaching and sharing clusters. 3 teachers' development days are held every year to allow teachers to learn from one another, exchange teaching experiences and insights so as to enhance the effectiveness of learning and teaching. We also introduce educationists and experts to work with teachers to enhance the quality of the curriculum. |
| Life-wide Learning (Including Five Essential Learning Experiences to be Provided through Key Learning Areas, Extra-curricular Activities, Co-curricular Activities, etc.) | : | School not only places emphasis in classroom learning but also endeavor to promote after-class activities. A total of over 230 events have been arranged annually, handling a record of more than 4800 students. The headcount of voluntary work are over 650. Our school sets up "Talents Development" scheme offering more than 40 clubs, school teams and interest clubs. Among them, the Robot Team, the Dragon and Lion Dance Team, AYP, RoboMaster and Visual Arts Team have represented Hong Kong to take part in overseas competitions and won the world champions, to name just a few. Wind Band, Sports Teams, Dancing Group, Floral Design and students in Speech Festivals and IT competitions have got a lot of prizes and have been interviewed by different media. |
| Others | : | Incredible results have been achieved by students in worldwide competitions: 1. In 2023, Leung Pui Wai was presented the Kwun Tong Outstanding Students Award and granted a scholarship of $3000; Cheung Hing Chit was awarded a scholarship in 2023 to acknowledge his outstanding achievements in academic, conduct as well as service. 2. Our school has brilliant performances in STEAM, students represented China and Hong Kong to join robotic competitions in places like Japan, Korea, Singapore, America, Germany, Brazil and Mexico and were awarded the worldwide championship; altogether, our students also won 8 gold, 7 silver and 6 bronze in ROBOGAMES held in America in 2024. This was the best-ever achievement made. 3. Our school Computer Club joined the ROBOMASTER Youth Series Competition 2023 Hong Kong) and won the Overall Champion by beating 120 schools in Hong Kong, winning the opportunity to represent Hong Kong in the international competition. 4. The Lion and Dragon Dance Team has won several times of the Hong Kong Champion and even a world champion in the competition held in Malaysia. The team crowned both the champion and the second runner-up in the Inter-School Dragon & Lion Dance Championship 2024. The team won In February 2023, the Chief Executive, Mr Lee Ka-chiu and the Deputy Director of Liaison Office of the Centre People’s Government in the Hong Kong SAR, Mr He Jing officiated the eye-dotting ceremony for our school Lion and Dragon Dance Team. 5. Our student, Zhao Hau Yee was awarded Honorable Mention Award in International Art Competition (China Hong Kong) 2024. 6. In 2022 and 2023, altogether 10 students from our school were awarded the Gold Badge in the Hong Kong Award for Young People (AYP) presented by the Chief Executive Mr Lee Ka-chiu whereas another group of 19 students were awarded the Silver Badge presented by the Chief Secretary Mr Chan Kwok-ki. 7. Wong Kwan Yee and Shi King Yu swept the board in a territory-wide Floral Art Arrangement Competition in 2024. 8. Our students won the champion in Kwun Tong Region and the first runner-up in Kowloon District in Junior Police Call Flag Raising Competition 2024. 9. Our school badminton team Boys Grade C won the championship in Inter-school Badminton Competition (Kowloon Area) in 2024. 10. E-band of our school performed in City Hall and was awarded the Best Stage Performance Award in 2024. |
