Learning & Teaching Strategies : The school values the connection between life and learning. We implement a range of distinctive school-based curricula that are organically integrated and naturally connected with the core curriculum, nurturing students' innovative thinking and inquiry spirit, humanistic care values, scientific and technological literacy, information literacy, and the ability to comprehensively apply knowledge and skills. 2. Through cross-curricular project learning and STEAM inquiry activities, creating authentic contexts to develop students' critical thinking, problem-solving, and innovation skills.
Cultivation of Proper Values, Attitudes and Behaviours : The school promotes values education, using Chinese culture as the backbone and integrating cross-curricular values education across all subjects and life-wide learning to help students develop proper values and attitudes. Adopting the "Knowledge-Affection-Action" affective pedagogical model, and incorporating patriotic education, national security education, and life education, the school strengthens the practical dimension in school-based curricula and activities, enabling students to transform cognitive understanding into action and internalise it as good character and a spirit of contribution.
Student Support
Whole School Approach to Catering for Learner Diversity : Focus on developing gifted education. We provide over forty gifted programmes such as School Leaders, Mathematics Olympiad, English Ambassadors, STEAM CLUB, Little Editor and Lego Robot are provided for gifted students to explore their thinking and creativity abilities and social skills. Remedial classes are offered for students in need.
Whole School Approach to Integrated Education : Our school adopts the "Whole School Approach" model to support students with special educational needs (SEN), establishing a Student Support Team to cater for individual differences through the "3-Tier Intervention Model": 1. Tier-1: optimising classroom teaching; 2. Tier-2: providing remedial teaching and group services such as enhanced school-based speech therapy, social skills groups and study skills groups; 3. Tier-3: providing Individual Education Plans (IEPs). Through various channels such as parent workshops and interviews, parents are assisted in understanding their children's needs.
Curriculum Tailoring and Adaptation : To cater for learner diversity, we implement distinctive school-based programmes, cross-curricular learning and curriculum integration, making good use of blended learning and appropriate e-learning strategies to design suitable learning plans for students. For example, whole-class gifted learning programmes and pull-out programmes are provided for students with special abilities. According to students' learning needs, gifted classes and remedial teaching groups are offered. AI tools are leveraged to facilitate personalised learning, helping students develop their potential.
Home-school Co-operation and School Ethos
Home-School Co-operation : 1. Elect representatives to be school managers in IMC to provide advice on school development. 2. Establish Parent Network for open communication between parents and the school. 3. Assist in organising diverse activity groups, summer classes and tutoring groups. 4. Establish a Parent Volunteer Team to support school affairs and diversified curriculum activities such as booth hosting, guest sharing and guided visits. 5. "Parent-Child Reading Club" conducts parent-child reading activities aligned with cross-curricular reading themes, fostering students' critical thinking through home-school collaboration. 6. Organise parent workshops to help parents master effective methods for promoting their children's whole-person development.

Teacher Professional Training & Development : A systematic and theme-based professional development plan is formulated annually. Training workshops and sharing sessions are scheduled each year, covering "Teachers' Professional Roles, Values and Conduct", "Local, National and International Education Issues", "Teaching Strategy Sharing", "Peer Lesson Observation and Research Lessons", and "Deepening Teaching Skills". This year focuses on "Enhancing Students' Critical Thinking Skills", strengthening AI and innovative teaching strategy training to equip teachers with digital technology tools and foster students' information literacy, continuously enhancing teachers' professionalism.
Others : We provide various Award Schemes to encourage students to strive for excellence in multiple areas and award and reinforce students' good performance. We train students to participate in academic, scientific and technological, physical and artistic activities. Students have won many awards in competitions including swimming, track and field, fancy rope skipping, music, science and technology, dance, visual art etc. Every year, the school also arranges students to go abroad for exchange and study.
