| (1) Whole-school Language Policy | : | Under the fine-tuning of the medium of instruction (MOI) policy, our school adopts a progressive approach to finding a suitable medium of instruction based on students' language abilities with some subjects using English as the MOI. |
| (2) Learning and Teaching Strategies | : | 1. Enhancing Students’ Academic Performance To enhance students’ academic performance and cater to learner diversity, enhancement and enrichment courses in various subjects are offered. In the 2024/25 academic year, over 20 courses in more than 9 subjects, including Chinese Language, English Language, and Mathematics, were conducted. For the 2025/26 academic year, our school will continue to organize enhancement and enrichment courses, deepening students’ subject knowledge and enhancing their problem-solving skills, with the aim of achieving outstanding results in the HKDSE. 2. Student Engagement in E-Learning and STEAM Students are encouraged to participate in e-learning and STEAM courses. Meanwhile, classroom interaction is strengthened to improve learning efficiency. 3. After-School Classes Conduct enrichment and remedial classes in English and Mathematics for Form 1 students, along with Chinese culture, STEAM, foreign language courses, and mindfulness activities to extend classroom learning and support students' holistic development 4. Promoting English Proficiency Our school strives to improve students’ English proficiency and create an English-enriched environment through various activities, including English Week, English Days, English morning assemblies, and the English Ambassador Programme. Students are encouraged to participate in English drama training, and the English Room is utilized for speaking practice. Additionally, in collaboration with other subject departments, our English teachers design courses aimed at enhancing students’ English skills. To help students adapt to the new learning environment and prepare for the new school year, we offer summer bridging courses for all levels, including English and Mathematics bridging courses for Primary 6 students. 5. Our school participates in the Shatin Joint-school Other Language Learning Programme organized by the Shatin District Secondary School Heads' Association. Students enrolled in these courses are eligible to take the HKDSE Category C language examinations administered by the Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority, providing them with greater opportunities to enhance their academic and linguistic skills. |

Career exploration: Provide experiential activities related to work, such as Business-School Partnership Programme, Youth Employment Start, Labour Department, Employees Retraining Board, and Hong Kong Association of Guidance Teachers. At the 4th Hong Kong Youth Aerospace Innovation Competition organized by the Hong Kong New Generation Cultural Association, they earned First Prizes in both the Planetary Rover Challenge (Junior Secondary Division) and the Spherical Drone Offensive and Defensive Challenge (Senior Secondary Division). In academic competitions, students won the Gold Award in the Secondary School (Individual) category at the 2025 Greater Bay Area Gifted Sudoku Championship (Hong Kong) organized by GTER Education. They also achieved a Silver Award in the Senior Secondary Division of the 2025 Asia International Mathematical Olympiad Open Contest Preliminaries hosted by the Asia International Mathematical Olympiad Union and received the "Star of Stars" title and a Silver Award in the Senior Secondary Division of the 2024 Greater Bay Area Logic Puzzle Competition organized by the Hong Kong Gifted Education Teachers' Association. In cultural and creative fields, students triumphed in the 2024/25 "Witnessing the New Era" Creative Works Production Event hosted by the Education Bureau, winning the Championship, the Most Popular Work Award, and the First Prize in the Secondary School Category. They also secured the Championship in the Secondary School Division of the Hong Kong Inter-school Constitution and Basic Law Quiz Competition and placed as Runner-up in the Senior Secondary Division of the "National Knowledge Contest" organized by the United Publishing Group and Kowloon Youth Joint Committee. In music, students won the Youth Division Championship in the International Chinese Music Challenge, the Chinese Music Level 2 Division and S1-S3 Level 2 Division Championships in the 7th Hong Kong Youth and Children's Music Competition, and the Secondary School Chinese Music and Piano Division Championships in the 2025 Asia Pacific Outstanding Talent Arts Festival Music Competition. They also secured the Championships in the Chinese Music and Wind Music Divisions at the Asia Pacific Excellence Cultural Arts Competition and won the Secondary School Chinese Music Division Championship in the 2025 Hong Kong Youth Artist Competition hosted by the Multidimensional Arts Education Association. Additionally, they earned Gold Awards for Advanced Piano Solo, Elementary Yangqin Solo, and Intermediate Flute Solo in the 2025 Joint Schools Music Competition. In sports, students excelled in various competitions. They won the Overall Championship in the New Territories Girls’ Division at the 2025 Hong Kong Inter-school Rope Skipping Competition and achieved a number of awards in swimming, including Boys’ Grade A 50m Freestyle and Butterfly Bronze Medals, Girls’ Grade C 50m Breaststroke Championship, and 50m Freestyle Bronze Medal at the Inter-school Swimming Competition. Students also won the Boys’ Youth 50m Freestyle and Butterfly Championships at the 2024 Shatin District Age Group Swimming Competition. In athletics, they earned the Boys’ Grade C Long Jump Championship at the Inter-school Athletics Meet. In volleyball, they won the Boys’ Youth Division Third Place at the 2025 North District Volleyball Competition. Additionally, they achieved Runner-up in the Junior Team Time Trial at the 4th Round of the Hong Kong Road Cycling Race. In fencing, students claimed the U14 and U17 Boys’ Épée Championships at the 2025 CGHC Invitational Fencing Tournament – Chun Hing Cup. They also secured the U16 Boys’ Épée Individual Championship at the 2025 Yingdong Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Youth Fencing Challenge. Furthermore, they achieved the Open Division Boys’ Sabre Championship at the Huizhou Youth Fencing Open and the Open Division Girls’ Foil Individual Championship at the Shenzhen "Fengxing Cup" Fencing Open hosted by the Chinese Fencing Association. etc. |
