Our College employs dedicated teaching assistants and arranges after-school support programmes to cater to the individual differences of each student. Beyond academic support, we organise a diverse range of extracurricular activities, enabling students to develop their unique potential and showcase their individual talents.
Members of the Individual Learning Needs Support Team maintain close communication and collaborate with parents to jointly support each student's learning and personal development. In response to student needs, the school also regularly engages professional instructors to provide further learning assistance on campus.
To facilitate a smooth transition for Form 1 students, we have a peer mentorship programme where senior students meet with them regularly to help resolve challenges faced during their adaptation to secondary school life. Regarding assessments, the school makes appropriate adjustments for tests and examinations in accordance with students' diverse learning needs. Future Development
(1) School Development Plan : The SDP focuses on three major concerns. They aim at fostering our students' two essential attributes: to be competent, committed learners and compassionate, caring as well as responsible citizens in meeting the challenges of the world. This echoes the core values of Catholic Education, the Franciscan spirits as well as the school mission.

The First Major Concern for 2024-2027 is "To foster students' proactive mindset and further enhance self-directed learning capacity". In order to develop students’ proactive mindset and boost their confidence to take up challenges, it is essential to further enhance self-directed learning capacity by using data analysis and Information Technology.

The Second Major Concern for 2024-2027 is "To foster students’ positive mindset and develop a healthy lifestyle". We recognize the significance of incorporating concepts such as growth mindset, PERMA (Positive Emotions, Engagement, Relationships, Meaning, and Accomplishment), and character strengths into our educational approach. These concepts empower students to develop resilience, foster well-being, and cultivate their full potential.

The Third Major Concern for 2024-2027 is "To promote values education into students and nurture them into responsible citizens". Our College embraces the motto of AMOR ET LABOR (Love and Labour) and is dedicated to nurturing our students to be responsible citizens by combining Catholic Education and the virtues of Chinese Culture.
(2) Teacher Professional Training and Development : Teachers are encouraged to attend professional development courses. The School and Staff Strategic Development Team is responsible for arranging teacher development and sharing sessions. Professional exchange sessions among our kindergarten, primary and secondary schools are organised to make the best provisions for the students.
Life-wide Learning (Including Five Essential Learning Experiences to be Provided through Key Learning Areas, Extra-curricular Activities, Co-curricular Activities, etc.) : Our School provides over 30 extra-curricular activities including academic, sports, arts, services and interests. Every student, except F.6 students, has to join at least one club. Besides, all F.1 students have to learn one musical instrument to enhance their aesthetic development.
Others : Our College encourages students to pursue excellence in their studies, broaden their horizons and develop themselves in different domains. We establish different scholarship and award schemes including Rex Cheng Scholarship, Kwok Pui Kiu Scholarship, Kingson Kwan STEAM Scholarship, etc. Additionally, some subjects have their own scholarships to recognize outstanding students. The Outstanding Students Award is run by the Immaculate Heart of Mary Alumni Association. The Most Improved Student Award run by the Parent-Teacher Association together with other awards sponsored by different stakeholders, aim at cultivating multiple intelligence among students.

Cross-boundary learning programmes are arranged by the World Vision Development Team (e.g. Macau UNESCO Forum, exchange programme of Sister School Scheme, etc.) so that students can enrich their experience by participating in various study tours.

With the strenuous efforts of the teachers, our students perform brilliantly in various aspects including sports, music, debating, drama, etc. In recent years, students have excelled in and won different titles in the inter-school STEAM and science competitions. In sports, our students won a number of trophies and awards in inter-school athletic events, volleyball and basketball competitions.
