The motto of our school is "Loyalty, Courtesy, Diligence and Simplicity". We are committed to providing an all- round education for the development of our students in moral, intellectual, physical, social and aesthetic aspects and to cultivating them to become responsible, respectful and compassionate individuals. | Orientation Activities and Healthy Life | : | Every late July, an orientation course is organized for S.1 students so as to help them cope with the new school lives, and master the learning skills in Chinese, English and Mathematics subjects. | (1) Whole-school Language Policy | : | 1. Chinese is adopted as the primary medium of instruction to enhance students' motivation and learning effectiveness. 2. Emphasis is placed on English vocabulary acquisition. In the junior forms, the scheme of work for all non-English subjects includes lists of subject-specific vocabulary in English to be taught for each unit. This vocabulary is taught in class, recorded in SolidMemory and in students’ personal vocabulary logbooks, and assessed in the extended portion of the examination. 3. The biliterate and trilingual language policy is implemented through putting importance on activities like writing practice, Verse Speaking Competitions, learning English through singing, telling stories in Putonghua, and broadcasting on campus radio. 4. Students are arranged to take external public examination courses, such as IELTS, and financial assistance is provided for students to sit for the public exams. 5. SolidMemory, an AI learning software, is introduced to allow students to make good use of their time inside and outside classroom to acquire English vocabulary. 6. Two Native English Teachers (NETs), in addition to undertaking assigned teaching duties, organise and conduct co-curricular activities related to English learning and teaching outside class time. 7. English drama serves to enhance students' interest in learning English, with participation in competitions and performances scheduled for Graduation Ceremony each school year. |

We also provide internship opportunities and organize study tours. Teachers offer personal guidance to Form Three and Form Six students, addressing their questions about further education and employment, and helping them integrate their interests, abilities, and career aspirations to develop personalized and appropriate plans and goals. Each school year, our school hosts a "School-Based Education and Career Expo," which strengthens students' understanding of industries and pathways for further education through the participation of school managers, alumni, representatives from tertiary institutions, and industry professionals. Additionally, the "Interdisciplinary Collaborative Career Training Programme" enhances students' vocational skills, including writing cover letters, resumes, interview techniques, mock interviews, and internships. |

| (1) Whole School Approach to Catering for Learner Diversity | : | Our school has transitioned to the Inclusive Education Program under the Learning Support Grant (LSG) since 2019, providing appropriate educational services to support students with special educational needs through the 3-tier Intervention Model and an inclusive school culture. |
| (2) Whole School Approach to Integrated Education | : | The Inclusive Education Group under the Student Affairs Committee comprises key members including the Principal (Advisor), Vice Principal, Assistant Principals, Special Educational Needs (SEN) Coordinator, Guidance Officer, teachers of Chinese, English, and Mathematics, social workers, educational psychologists, and speech therapists. Our school currently has several support teachers and assistant counsellors who follow up with students with various special educational needs. We allocate resources to purchase diverse activity services for these students to enhance their life skills and construct their career plans. The school further adapts class grouping and curriculum design to meet the needs of students’ characteristics. In addition to encouraging teachers to participate in relevant programmes organized by the Education Bureau, we also offer school-based professional development courses to enhance teachers' skills in teaching and student counseling. We emphasize home-school collaboration to keep parents informed about their children's learning progress at school. Moreover, our school provides appropriate assistance to non-Chinese-speaking students with special educational needs to strengthen their learning outcomes. |
