Elite Training programmes including writing workshops, public speaking training, overseas learning tours, and external competitions enable high-potential students to maximise their abilities. Intermediate Support consolidates foundations through enriched writing courses, current affairs discussions, and mock oral assessments. Remedial Support provides after-school classes, small-group tutorials, and AI-assisted learning tools for students with weaker foundations or special learning needs. Streaming is based on English exam results, with re-streaming options in higher grades. E-Learning Integration: Our language departments integrate Interactive Whiteboards, BYOD learning, and AI-powered English platforms into daily instruction. As a pilot school for "Lingotask," we lead educational innovation, receiving the 2024-25 "Outstanding e-Learning Award (Gold)" from The University of Hong Kong. Co-curricular Activities: Beyond regular programmes like Chinese Society, Debating Team, English Ambassadors, and English Public Speaking Team, over 70% of club activities incorporate English elements, enabling students to flexibly apply English across diverse scenarios.
(2) Learning and Teaching Strategies	:	Data-Driven Learning & Teaching: The school employs a data-driven approach through school-based questionnaires to analyse student learning styles, motivation, and attitudes, empowering teachers to design differentiated lesson plans catering to individual differences. A school-based tracking model monitors students' learning progress and predicts HKDSE performance. This methodology enables early identification of student needs, tailored instruction, and precise planning of pedagogical strategies and resources, ensuring every student feels supported. Professional Training and External Collaboration: Teachers from Chinese, English, Mathematics, and Innovation & Technology departments engage in middle leadership training. In partnership with tertiary institutions, they have formed Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) to foster experience sharing and advance curriculum development, strengthening professional capacity and enhancing students' ability to acquire, construct, and apply knowledge. The school collaborates with EDB, CUHK, PolyU, and EdUHK to strengthen STEAM curriculum support. (3) School-based Curriculum	:	1. Electives: 2X and 3X. Curriculum Highlights: Beyond the formal curriculum, the school integrates key learning elements into daily campus life through themed weekly assemblies and collaborative activities with external organisations. Our signature school-based interdisciplinary STEAM curriculum enables students to apply knowledge from various disciplines in real-world scenarios. Through cross-curricular projects, students develop creativity, problem-solving skills, and team spirit. 2. Curriculum highlights: Our Language Across the Curriculum (LAC) approach is founded on inter-departmental collaboration, integrating English learning activities both within and beyond the classroom to cultivate a school-wide, English-rich environment. This provides students with diverse opportunities for language exposure and practical application. The curriculum design emphasizes the integration and extension of the four key language skills (listening, speaking, reading, and writing). Through inquiry-based, task-based, and cooperative learning activities, we aim to enhance students' critical thinking, creative expression, and authentic communication skills. This comprehensive strategy, which also caters to diverse proficiency levels and interests, is designed to complement the formal curriculum, consolidate foundational skills, and expand students' real-world language application.
(4) Major Renewed Emphases in the School Curriculum	:	In the 2026-2027 academic year, our school will further expand its English-Medium Instruction (EMI) offerings. At the senior secondary level, the elective options for Form 4 students will be broadened to include EMI classes for both Geography and Economics. At the junior secondary level, two additional EMI classes will be introduced in both Geography and the interdisciplinary STEAM curriculum, respectively, to enrich the English learning environment for our students.
(5) Life Planning Education	:	Since 2024, our school has participated in the Jockey Club "CLAP for Youth @ JC" Programme. Through this initiative, we have adopted the "Hong Kong Benchmarks for Career and Life Development (HKBC)" to systematically review and optimise our school's career and life planning curriculum and to foster the professional development of our teachers.Our school implements a structured approach by establishing distinct developmental themes for each grade level, delivering career and life planning education through a diverse range of activities. We place great emphasis on small-group and individual further studies consultations, with dedicated guidance programmes at different levels to ensure students receive suitable and timely support.To provide holistic support for students' needs, we actively encourage academic departments to organise subject-specific activities that incorporate career planning elements. We also offer diverse learning opportunities—including Other Language courses and Applied Learning (ApL) courses for junior and senior secondary students—to enhance their prospects for higher education and employment. Student Support
(1) Whole School Approach to Catering for Learner Diversity	:	Our school is committed to fostering a truly inclusive culture, adopting a "Whole School Approach" to support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN). By effectively utilising the Learning Support Grant, we procure external professional services to provide students with specific learning needs with appropriate and diversified support.These services are strategically designed to enhance students' learning effectiveness and facilitate their smooth integration into campus life, ensuring every student could thrive.
(2) Whole School Approach to Integrated Education	:	Our school implements Inclusive Education through a "Whole School Approach" centred on the Student Support Team, comprising the SENCO, teachers, SEN support staff, school social worker, and educational psychologist, who collaborate to provide timely support for students in need.The school provides learning, homework, and assessment accommodations, conducting Individual Education Plan (IEP) meetings to design support strategies. Teaching assistants and tertiary students offer after-school homework support, while our Educational Psychologist conducts specialised services including reading and writing support groups. Professional training such as Speech Therapy and Occupational Therapy are arranged alongside inclusive activities.We establish regular communication with parents through multiple channels to collaboratively discuss and review support strategies, ensuring a unified approach to each student's development.
(4) Measures to Provide Adaptation for Learning and Assessment	:	Student performance in all subjects is evaluated based on the principle of continuous assessment. Each academic year is divided into two semesters, with the exception of Form 6, which has a single semester structure. Each semester includes one uniform test and one examination. For Form 6 students, two mock examinations are arranged to prepare them for public exams. The school provides special accommodations or exemptions during tests and examinations for students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
Home-School Co-operation and School Ethos
(1) Home-School Co-operation	:	Our school places great importance on home-school partnership. We regularly hold parent seminars, Parents' Days, and thematic talks to help parents gain a deeper understanding of their children's developmental and learning needs, thereby strengthening the communication and connection between home and school.In parallel, our Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) actively collaborates with various school departments to organise a diverse range of activities that promote interaction and cooperation.
