Secondary One Admission : Our school will accept discretionary places. Our school will participate in the Secondary School Places Allocation System through central allocation stage (Applicable for admission to S.1 in September 2026 ).Our school is not affiliated with or connected to any primary schools. Our intake criteria are mainly based on students’ conduct, academic results, participation in extra-curricular activities and performance at interview. Admission criteria include academic performance (40%), conduct (20%), interview performance (20%), extra-curricular activities / services (10%), identify with our school educational philosophy (10%)
Orientation Activities and Healthy Life : - Our school holds an orientation program during the summer holiday to help new students gain a better understanding of the school, teachers and fellow classmates, and cultivate a sense of belonging in them. The program aims to help students adapt to the learning and teaching mode of secondary school.
- Implementation of the 'Student Profile' Scheme: There are three objectives.
1. To promote students' whole-person development;
2. To actualize the school's mission on individual student;
3. To cultivate leadership in students.
- There are four domains in the scheme: bettering self-quality (personality, diligence and vision) enhancing personal well-being, offering services and building talent into full play. The Scheme is designed for all S.1-S.6 students.
- The "One School Team Per Student" scheme is promoted among S.1 & S.2 students to cultivate their interest in sports and arts, perseverance and team spirit.
- Our school implements the "Healthy School Programme" to promote healthy lifestyle and to assist students to develop a flourishing life.

School Management
(1) School's Major Concerns : Theme: In God's love, We forge ahead
(2) School Management Organisation : Since 1997, our school has exercised school-based management to encourage teachers’ participation in the process of making school policies and to advance communication with different stake-holders through Parent-teacher Association, Alumni Association and Student Union. Under the management of the Incorporated Management Committee, the School Executive Development Committee develops the school plan and evaluates its effectiveness. Different committees are set up to promote and manage affairs concerning students’ development and their academic achievement. (Refer to the school web site for details)
(3) Incorporated Management Committee / School Management Committee / Management Committee : To enhance transparency and accountability, the Incorporated Management Committee, which comprises two Teacher Managers, two Parent Managers, one Alumni Manager and one Independent Manager, has been established.
(4) School Green Policy : The Life Education Committee collaborates with the Resource Committee, Students Union and Subject teachers to implement environmental policies and promote conservation activities such as No Air con Day, Re-using utensils, Recycling Campaign, Casual Wear Day etc. In 2021, several checkpoints were set nearby the environmental protection facilities on the campus. QR codes were added for related information at these checkpoints, combining technology to enhance learning interest. In 2022, our school enrolled in the "Student Environmental Protection Ambassador (SEPA) Scheme" organized by the Education Bureau to encourage students to take positive actions to improve the environment.
Learning and Teaching Plan
(1) Whole-school Language Policy : Junior forms: Most of the classes use English as the main medium of instruction. S.1 - S.2 Chinese lessons according to specific topics are conducted in Putonghua.
Senior forms: Students may decide what MOI to be used, taking into consideration their learning ability, as well as parents' wishes.
(2) Learning and Teaching Strategies : To value life education
1. We believe that every grain of sand is able to be transformed into an invaluable pearl. Each child can be successful but someone needs to be a clam, to love and nurture them and give them trials.
2. Education is the process of one's life influencing another's. Teaching by words and modeling are of equal importance. Emphasis is placed on whole-person development. The aim of education is to provide opportunities for students to maximize their strengths.
3. A 6-year life education curriculum is designed to nurture "Wesleyans" who have good morals and knowledge and are bold to bare responsibilities.
4. The average passing rate of 2025 DSE was over 99%. Students who attained the basic entry requirements to universities and the admission rate through JUPAS were both above the territory average.

2. Curriculum highlights: Life Education, Integrated Performance Art (IPA), Other Learning Experience (OLE).
(4) Major Renewed Emphases in the School Curriculum : 1. Reading to learn: towards reading across the curriculum: Enhance students’ reading skills. Develop reading targets and award scheme to promote students' reading habit. A daily morning reading period has been launched for extensive reading. S1 and S2 cross-curricular reading award scheme.
2. Language across curriculum (LaC) is implemented to help students develop their language proficiency in English and Chinese, while also enhancing their understanding of subject-specific content.
3. Information Technology for Interactive Learning: Towards Self-directed Learning to promote interactive classroom learning and extended learning after school through various e-Learning platform.
4. Project Learning: Subject-based implementation in order to strengthen students' ability in applying project learning skills.
5. Moral & Civic Education: A 6-year moral theme cycle is introduced to enhance moral teaching. The themes are: Respect, Conscientiousness, Integrity, Self-discipline, Perseverance and Gratitude. With the co-ordination of Student Support & Development Committee, Life education and 'The Student Profile' scheme are launched to enhance the all-round development of students.
(5) Life Planning Education : 1. To facilitate students' understanding of their interests, abilities as well as career aspirations and formulation of individualized plan in relation to further education and career exploration.
2. To organize school-wide career guidance programs/activities on further study opportunities and career choices.
3. To organize career-related experiences for career exploration and to help students develop value, knowledge, skills and attitudes about work.
4. To facilitate students to reflect on their on-going experiences and to set goals for whole-person development.
Student Support
(1) Whole School Approach to Catering for Learner Diversity : Our professional counseling team consists of an educational psychologist, a speech therapist, two school social workers and three counselors. To reinforce senior students' role as models of their junior counterparts, “Big brothers and sisters” groups are established to give support to S.1 juniors. “Duo class-teachers” policy is introduced to foster care to students. English is taught in small groups for junior CMI classes. Remedial classes on English language, Chinese language and Mathematics are held for junior level students. In “Super Circle Scheme” for the elite students, various kinds of academic activities, both inside and outside school, are arranged for target students to extend their potentials and strive for excellence. After-school enhancement classes are run by different subject panels for senior level students to give them remedial help or to enhance their capacity.
(2) Whole School Approach to Integrated Education : Our school endeavors to establish an inclusive culture and a caring campus, providing comprehensive support for students with special educational needs (SEN). Comprised of members such as the principal, educational psychologists, speech therapists, social workers, SEN Coordinator, SEN support teachers, counselors, and teachers trained in special education, our Student Support Team meets regularly to set appropriate support plans for students in need.

The school also provides suitable exam accommodations for these students and flexibly utilizes the Learning Support Grant to subscribe to professional support services, ranging from attention training, literacy training, to social skills training. We value home-school collaboration, and the support group has established a regular communication mechanism to keep parents informed about their children's learning progress, enabling joint support for their education and development.
(3) Education Support for Non-Chinese Speaking (NCS) Students : Our school provides additional support for NCS students to facilitate their learning of Chinese: providing after-school support programmes in learning Chinese; organising activities to create an inclusive learning environment in the school; and our school uses Putonghua to teach Chinese in all classes / groups at certain levels with extra support as appropriate, e.g. pull-out/small-group classes, learning and teaching resources with Pinyin, etc. For example, using the After-school support programme to help the non-Chinese speaking students to learn Chinese Language and organising cultural integration activities.
(4) Measures to Provide Adaptation for Learning and Assessment : 1. Students are required to sit for one mid-term test and one final examination in each school term;
2. Students are encouraged to exercise self-learning and diversified learning;
3. Emphasis is placed on students' daily efforts and diversified assessment.
Home-School Co-operation and School Ethos
(1) Home-School Co-operation : The Incorporated Management Committee comprises two parent managers, who participate in decision-making. Our school collaborates with the Parent-Teacher Association in organizing talks, seminars and social gatherings. Parent Volunteers play an active role in assisting school-wide activities; Two Parent Volunteers are members of the Trade Operation Committee and work together with teachers and student representatives to monitor school commercial activities.
(2) School Ethos : 1. Our students are well-mannered, pleasant and welcoming;
2. Our school has been awarded the “Excellent Caring School Award”.
3. The champion for "The Most Harmonic Home-school Co-operation" and the champion for "Holistic Care for Wellbeing";
4. 'The Student Profile' scheme is launched to help students set goals for various aspects regarding character building, academic achievement, services, reading, sports and arts;
5. In addition to academic report, each student is issued a Comprehensive Performance Report to record student's other learning experiences.
Future Development
(1) School Development Plan : 1. To develop future leaders who possess strong moral character, physical and mental wellness, and expansive horizons.
2. To enhance students' language proficiency and empower them to become lifelong learners who strive for excellence.
3. To continuously develop our curriculum and promote cross-curricular collaboration to cultivate students into responsible global citizens.
(2) Teacher Professional Training and Development : - Staff Development team has been set up to arrange professional trainings and seminars;
- Implementation of peer lesson observation and collaborative periods to promote the culture of professional sharing among teachers;
- Professional development targets are set for teachers and a variety of internal and external exchange opportunities are provided.
Life-wide Learning (Including Five Essential Learning Experiences to be Provided through Key Learning Areas, Extra-curricular Activities, Co-curricular Activities, etc.) : Our school has more than 30 regular clubs/groups under the categories of academic, sports, interest and service groups. Various events are organized every year, including Athletic Meet, Swimming Gala, English Festival, Academic Week. Students are also provided with different learning opportunities to learn through field trips, services and other activities on Life-wide Learning Activities Day. They can also join visits to the Mainland or overseas study exchange activities organized by the school.
Others : 38 scholarships are awarded annually to students who strive for excellence in various aspects including moral development, services, academic achievement and extra-curricular activities.
