Secondary One Admission : Our school will accept discretionary places. Orientation Activities and Healthy Life : To assist new students in adapting to campus life, our school has a series of orientation activities to help students and their parents familiarize themselves with the campus environment and culture. These activities include: Form 1 Orientation Day, Form 1 School-based Summer Bridging Programme, Form 1 Parent Orientation Day, Form 1 Growth Camp, Warm Welcome Meeting for Parents of New Students and various adaptation programs. Our Campus Health Policies, in line with sports development, aim to help students cultivate healthy lifestyle habits, establish a positive attitude and values, acquire practical life skills, and to develop resilience. Specific measures include: adopting a school-based Life Values Education Curriculum, establishing a Student Award Scheme, providing healthy and nutritious lunches, organizing ‘Joyful Fruit Month’, organizing Campus Mental Health Day, arranging vaccinations for seasonal influenza on campus, organizing a variety of extracurricular activities, holding anti-drug seminars, conducting sex education workshops, and establishing a comprehensive referral mechanism.

(4) School Green Policy : We encourage our staff and students to utilize resources to create a green campus so as to enable students to practise a green living style contributing to sustainable development. Our green policies include placing recycling bins on campus, setting up energy saving guidelines, planting flowers and trees and organizing environmental protection activities.
Learning and Teaching Plan
(1) Whole-school Language Policy : English is used as the main medium of instruction. For details, please refer to the subjects offered/to be offered in the 2025/2026 and 2026/2027 school years. We implement the policy of ‘biliteracy and trilingualism’ through the Chinese and English Reading Award Scheme and a variety of Chinese, English and Putonghua activities. From school year 2025/2026 onwards, the school will use Putonghua as the medium of instruction for teaching Chinese Language in one of our S.1 groups.
(2) Learning and Teaching Strategies : 1. We cultivate self-discipline, independent thinking and righteousness among our students.
2. An open and pleasant learning environment is provided for students to unleash their potential.
3. Our refined homework policy and ongoing feedback given to students help enhance their learning.
4. Cross-curricular learning activities are designed to cultivate students' generic skills.
(3) School-based Curriculum : 1. Electives: 3X. 11 elective subjects are offered. Subject combinations are decided according to students’ preferences and our resources.
2. Curriculum highlights:
i) School-based curriculums are implemented in STEAM, Computer Literacy, Life Values Education, Citizenship, Economics and Society, Life & Society, Music, and Reading lessons in junior forms.
ii) A school-based talent pool is in place to recommend its students to participate in school-based gifted education activities, international assessments, and external gifted programs. After-school tutorial classes and study groups are also offered to students who need more support.
iii) Various OLE activities are arranged according to students' needs and interests.
(4) Major Renewed Emphases in the School Curriculum : 1. Learning and Teaching: We aim at helping students cultivate a self-directed learning habit, develop their problem-solving skills and focus on the application of interdisciplinary knowledge and innovative thinking.
2. STEAM Education: STEAM education including elements of Artificial Intelligence enables students to integrate and apply knowledge. Students will acquire generic skills through Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics.
3. Reading: We have Reading lessons to promote students' interest in reading and broaden their horizons.
4. We are dedicated to educating our students to become good citizens with a good sense of responsibility and knowledge. Other than everyday lessons, we have values education, school-based "Life Values Education Curriculum", class periods, morning and hall assemblies, flag raising ceremonies and speeches under the national flag, "Other Learning Experiences", Career and Life Planning Programmes, volunteer training, community services and other activities aiming at helping students better understand themselves, cultivating their virtue of serving the community, strengthening students' sense of national identity, enhancing their civic consciousness and creating opportunities for them to experience the joy of helping others.
(5) Life Planning Education : Our school has a comprehensive strategy regarding students’ life planning. Life values education allows students to have a better understanding of themselves and society. Activities held by uniform groups and clubs help students learn to discipline themselves and develop different skills. Leadership training aiming at promoting communication and teamwork as well as helping students develop their potential by challenging themselves is provided. Visits to universities and workplace visits or experience programmes allowing students to know more about their study paths and career prospects are arranged. With the help of our alumni through the ‘Alumni Mentorship Programme’, students are also given opportunities to learn from their predecessors, explore their paths and set goals. Parent education programmes enhance parents’ understanding of the changes in society and foster home-school cooperation, strengthening the support for our students.
Student Support
(1) Whole School Approach to Catering for Learner Diversity : 1. Our school provides scholarships to students with outstanding academic achievements and those showing improvement.
2. There is no streaming in junior forms. We place emphasis on peer learning and mutual progress.
3. Each subject, according to their own nature, has their strategies in class and after class to address learner diversity.
4. Our study rooms operate until 7:30 p.m., allowing students to have self-study, discuss or receive further guidance from teachers.
5. With the ‘Big Brothers and Big Sisters Programme’, students from higher forms with good academic performance and conduct help take care of junior students as counselling prefects, assisting them in adapting to and engaging in campus life.
6. Our school also promotes various activities and programs, including the ‘Strive and Rise Program’, which pairs students with mentors and helps them create personal development plans to broaden their horizons, enhance their confidence, cultivate a positive attitude, and discover their various talents and potential.
(2) Whole School Approach to Integrated Education : Our school strives to provide integrated education and promote an inclusive school culture. The Student Support Team aims to implement a comprehensive school policy on effectively catering for the needs of students with special educational needs. The team members include a Special Educational Needs Coordinator, SEN Support Teachers, a SEN Counsellor, Social Workers, an Education Psychologist, a Counselling Psychologist and a Speech Therapist. Our Student Support Team devises school-based student support plans, and flexibly uses the Learning Support Grant to recruit additional manpower and professional services to support students with special educational needs.
(3) Education Support for Non-Chinese Speaking (NCS) Students : Our school provides additional support for NCS students to facilitate their learning of Chinese: providing after-school support programmes in learning Chinese; appointing additional teacher(s)/teaching assistant(s) to support NCS students’ learning of Chinese; arranging intensive Chinese learning and teaching mode(s), e.g. pull-out learning if necessary, split-class/group learning, etc.; developing school-based Chinese Language curriculum and/or adapting learning and teaching materials; and organising activities to create an inclusive learning environment in the school.
(4) Measures to Provide Adaptation for Learning and Assessment : In addition to a test and an examination in each semester, there are regular assignments, quizzes and projects in various subjects as our formative assessment. We also offer special arrangements in tests and examinations for students with special educational needs.
Home-School Co-operation and School Ethos
(1) Home-School Co-operation : We believe that quality home-school cooperation is essential to educating and bringing up students effectively. We regularly hold Parents' Days and other forms of meetings to enhance home-school communication. Teachers keep in touch with parents or meet them at school to foster home-school cooperation. Our Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) is also a bridge for home-school communication. PTA organizes the Annual General Meeting, Annual Dinner, Parent Education Talks, Chinese Cultural Day Delicacy Workshop, Parent-child Cultural Tour, Basin Banquet, Parent-Child Relay Race, Parent Tea Gatherings for different levels, Parent Education Book Loan Service and Voluntary Service, etc.
(2) School Ethos : Our school is dedicated to fostering a simple ethos that cultivates self-discipline in our students. We have a team of Counselling Prefects (CPs) who provide support particularly for junior form students. Furthermore, we provide Life Values Education lessons and class teacher periods designed to instill the core values of respect, perseverance, responsibility, and commitment.

(2) Teacher Professional Training and Development : 1. In response to the recent teaching initiatives of the Education Bureau, our school utilizes staff development days to enhance training for teachers in values education, national security education, STEAM Education, e-learning, and other areas.
2. In addition to staff development days, the school encourages subject departments to engage in academic exchanges, peer lesson observation, peer assignment observation, and external training courses.
3. We also provide an induction programme and counselling activities for new teachers to help them adapt to campus life.
4. The school also provides training allowances for teachers to apply for, encouraging them to continue their professional development.
Life-wide Learning (Including Five Essential Learning Experiences to be Provided through Key Learning Areas, Extra-curricular Activities, Co-curricular Activities, etc.) : Our school encourages students to actively participate in extracurricular activities to invigorate their body and mind and reinforce team spirit and cooperation. Our school’s annual activities include the school picnic, Athletic Meet, Aquatic Meet, Christmas Party and Arts Night. Besides, the Student Union organizes different inter-house and club activities. We have over 40 clubs and teams related to sports, hobbies, academic fields and moral values as well as service groups.
