Secondary One Admission : Our school will accept discretionary places. Our school will participate in the Secondary School Places Allocation System through central allocation stage (Applicable for admission to S.1 in September 2026 ).Interview (30%), Rank Order List of EDB (30%), Conduct (20%), Extra-curricular Activities / Prizes and Awards / Services (20%).
Orientation Activities and Healthy Life : Orientation Activities:
Pre-S.1 Adaptation Day: The activity helps students to familiarize themselves with the campus and the features of various subjects. Our aim is to enhance students’ interest in learning.
S.1 Parents’ Day: The activity provides an opportunity for both parents and students to understand the characteristics and curriculum of the school. Get prepared in advance to adapt to the new academic year.
S.1 Counselling Programme: Through discipline training, experiential activities, and interactive talks, students will be better equipped to adapt to the school life, understand emotions and stress-relief techniques, learn empathy and mutual respect, foster teamwork, and develop proper values.

School Management
(1) School's Major Concerns : 1. Strengthening self-directed learning skills and boosting students’ learning confidence.
2. Enhancing whole-person education and fostering positive values.
(2) School Management Organisation : In order to maintain a good team spirit, our school encourages collaboration among teachers to establish the educational goals and visions.
Our school has established six committees for various responsibilities, including school administration, academic, discipline and counselling, student growth, activities and health education.
Our school implements systematic appraisal system to assess teaching effectiveness on both teaching (homework review and lesson evaluation) and committee contributions.
(3) Incorporated Management Committee / School Management Committee / Management Committee : Incorporated Management Committee / School Management Committee was established in 2008.
(4) School Green Policy : Our school implements various recycling programmes to promote environmental protection. We have covered the rooftop with solar panels to make good use of renewable energy. Environmental Ambassador Programme enhances students’ knowledge of environmental protection through local and overseas field trips and workshops. They also learn about hydroponic farming through STEAM activities.
Learning and Teaching Plan
(1) Whole-school Language Policy : 1. Small class teaching is implemented in junior secondary Chinese Language, English Language and Mathematics subjects. Chinese is used as the medium of instructions in all subjects, except English Language. Some topics in junior forms Integrated Science will be taught in English.
2. A wide range of English activities are organized to develop an English-speaking environment to enhance students’ English learning opportunities.
3. Elite classes are offered in both Chinese Language and English Language subjects
(2) Learning and Teaching Strategies : 1. To cater for learning diversity, our school actively cultivates students’ ability to master self-directed learning skills. Each subject implements various learning activities to promote students' metacognitive (reflective and progressive) skills, and enhance their self-learning skills.
2. To strengthen cross-subject collaboration to enrich students' learning experiences and enhance their learning competencies. This includes cross-subject project learning and various learning activities. To encourage students to participate in various academic activities and competition, both in school and inter-school.
3. To improve students’ reading literacy and consolidate their language skills by providing a variety of reading materials across subjects to enhance their information literacy, offering a platform for students to share insights during themed reading weeks, strengthening comprehension of English texts, and arranging after-school classes in both Chinese and English to consolidate and enhance the reading and writing skills of students with varying abilities.

2. Curriculum highlights: Strengthen the cultivation of basic knowledge, learning skills, proper values, and attitudes through various junior secondary subjects in preparing students for a smooth transition to the senior secondary.
Organize ‘Diversity Learning Curriculum’ to provide a balanced and ample learning experience for students in moral education, civic education, national education, social service, work-related experiences, and physical education through a wide range of activities, in order to foster students’ personal development.
Offer certified courses for ‘Other Learning Experiences’ in senior secondary to enhance students' talents.
Implement curricula in national security education.
(4) Major Renewed Emphases in the School Curriculum : 1. Implementing a wide range of learning activities in all subjects to cater for learning diversity and cultivate students' self-directed learning skills.
2. Enhancing proper values education by reinforcing moral education, life education, health education, and national education.
3. Strengthening Chinese culture education through various subjects and Chinese Culture Week.
4. Improving students’ reading literacy and consolidate their language skills by introducing a diverse and thematic reading materials in the morning reading sessions. Junior secondary students will join the ‘Extraordinary Reading Programme’ to inspire their motivation in learning and enhance their learning skills.
5. Strengthening cross-subject project learning through various cross-subject activities and Life-wide Learning Day to train students integrated skills.
(5) Life Planning Education : Life Planning Education helps students to develop positive goals and broaden their horizons to enhance their workplace communication skills through various workshops, visits, seminars, and internship programme.
Student Support
(1) Whole School Approach to Catering for Learner Diversity : Classes are organized according to the learning abilities to cater for learning diversity. Curricula are tailored for students' needs.
Small class teaching is implemented in junior secondary Chinese Language, English Language and Mathematics to cater for learning diversity.
Elite classes, enhancement classes and remedial classes are conducted after school to cater for students’ needs and help them to improve their learning.
(2) Whole School Approach to Integrated Education : SENCO, SENST, Social Workers, Counsellor, Chinese and English Language subject teachers, Educational Psychologist, and School-based Speech Therapist formed as a team to support students’ special educational needs.
The team uses the Learning Support Grant to support students’ special learning needs and their development through home-school cooperation, and teachers training.
The ‘School-based Programme of Multidisciplinary Collaboration to Cater for Learner Diversity’ is implemented to support the students with special educational needs to learn effectively.
Career and life planning programmes are provided to help students to explore their personal interests, gain experiences, and develop their abilities in preparing them for further education and future employment.
The school-based Educational Psychologist and SENCO will provide useful information about the public examinations for students and parents in helping them to align with the special arrangements of the public examinations.
Our school Educational Psychologist will provide trainings and strategies for teachers to support their teaching needs of special education. Teachers are also encouraged to enroll in special education training courses.
(3) Education Support for Non-Chinese Speaking (NCS) Students : Our school provides additional support for NCS students to facilitate their learning of Chinese: providing after-school support programmes in learning Chinese; appointing additional teacher(s)/teaching assistant(s) to support NCS students’ learning of Chinese; arranging intensive Chinese learning and teaching mode(s), e.g. pull-out learning if necessary, split-class/group learning, etc.; organising activities to create an inclusive learning environment in the school; and hiring additional manpower and/or translation/interpretation services to facilitate the communication with parents of NCS students.
(4) Measures to Provide Adaptation for Learning and Assessment : Our school emphasizes continuous assessment for learning.
There are two uniform tests and two examinations in each academic year.
Special arrangements and adjustments will be provided for students with special educational needs according to the professional recommendations.
Home-School Co-operation and School Ethos
(1) Home-School Co-operation : Parents' Day is held in both terms. Teachers communicate with parents regularly to provide support for students’ personal growth and academic enhancement.
Parent-Teacher Association organizes meetings and activities regularly, such as workshops, seminars and outings to strengthen the collaboration between parents and school.
(2) School Ethos : Our school adopts an integrated approach for discipline and guidance. In order to enhance students’ growth, we enforce strict discipline to ensure the school rules are abided by them to cultivate their ‘Law-abidingness’ value. Meanwhile, we also emphasize the development of their self-discipline and self-esteem. Two class teachers are assigned to every class in S1-S3 to strengthen the communication among students and teachers. An ‘Infinity Fun Award Scheme" is implemented to raise students' self-confidence and initiative.
Future Development

(2) Teacher Professional Training and Development : Induction Mentoring Programme is implemented for new teachers. Every year, workshops, seminars and exchange activities are organized for teachers. Peer lesson observations, co-planning meetings and cross-subject exchange meetings are conducted within the school to promote professional dialogue. Teachers are also encouraged to engage in various professional training courses.
Life-wide Learning (Including Five Essential Learning Experiences to be Provided through Key Learning Areas, Extra-curricular Activities, Co-curricular Activities, etc.) : Our school actively promotes life-wide learning and organizes a diverse range of extra-curricular activities to explore students' interests and inspire their potential.
The school fully supports students to participate in external competitions. Students have won numerous awards in music, sports, and arts, and have outstanding performance in inter-school athletics and basketball competitions.
Our school organizes multiple study tours every year. Over the years, students have travelled to Europe, America, Japan, South Korea, Southeast Asia and China. The study tours provide an opportunity for students to experience the cultural differences, environmental conservation, technological development, English learning and volunteer service. Students can step out of the classroom for experiential learning and broaden their horizons.
Our school holds various activities every year such as Sports Day, Cross-country Competition, Ball Games Day, Music Day, and House competitions. Theme-based weeks such as English Week, Chinese Culture Week, Reading Week, STEAM Week, and Humanities Week are also organized.
The school has offered more than 50 extra-curricular activities for students such as the Track and Field Team, Cross-country Team, Hip-hop Team, English Ambassador, Taekwondo, Healthy Eating Club, Organic Farming Club, etc.
Chess, ball games, student performances, and music activities are arranged at noon and after school.
We also encourage students to participate in Uniformed Service Teams such as Community Youth Club, Red Cross Youth Unit, Junior Police Call Leader Corps, Scouts.

Three scholarships including one full funding scholarship for university tuition fees, about $42,000 per year and two half funding scholarships for university tuition fees, about $21,000 per year (for four years of university tuition)
